Wyvern roars covered the sky.

Little Purple descended beside Cain, covered in blood. He shook off the hanging intestines on his body, sending wet chunks flying in every direction. The pieces slapped against the crimson rock and sizzled where venom t stone. Little Purple folded his wings with a satisfied snap and let out a low, rumbling purr that vibrated through the ground.

"Captain!"

Anastas scread, bolting toward Dax's hovering figure.

"Please Captain stop them, please I want its corpse."

He begged, but Dax didn't reply. He watched him with an emotionless gaze.

"Please!"

Anastas clapped his palms together. Seeing Dax's ignorance, his persona changed—cold like the dead once again.

Dax gazed at Anastas.

Anastas bowed, head touching the alien earth.

"Please."

Dax raised his hand, stopping Cain and Little Purple.

Dax smiled.

"Who are you?" Dax asked, tone calm.

In the distance Mimi dashed with incredible speed, eyes filled with glee.

Bang!

She clashed with one of the goblins, exchanging a series of blows with it.

It was powerful. Its muscles twitched every second, swelling. Its veins seeped poison, dancing like worms under the dark-green skin.

Beside Mimi another appeared, punching at her, but she was too fast. They are very dangerous; getting caught off guard by them will be devastating.

"Ahh! I wish I could kill."

Mimi's bloodlust surged. She stopped, standing straight.

"Wind zone."

She spread her arms apart, sending out wind waves from her body, covering a large radius.

A burst of energy covered her area of existence. Her hair fluttered. Moving with insane pace, the larger goblin approached. The other followed a distance behind him.

In less than a second it stepped on the border of the wind zone. All he heard was the sound of wind. Just for its leg in the zone to be cleanly chopped up. Alert, it dodged—blood gushing out of its leg.

It fell to the floor screaming in pain.

Chance!

Mimi moved dangerously toward the injured monster. She punched.

To her surprise her hand ca in contact with the second goblin's leg. This one was different from the larger goblins.

This one's physique was slender. With precision it spun—ears flapping—it kicked again, pushing Mimi back.

Mimi's eyes narrowed.

"It's using Dankaku perfectly."

Mimi was surprised. This was a goblin art created by the older goblins. Centuries ago these arts were lost to humankind.

Now it's performing it to the extre.

"Co!" Mimi yelled, battle intent high.

It moved faster than the larger one. It spun its blade in the air and kicked.

Blasting toward her in a streak. She dodged. The rusted blade grazed her on her cheek. Before she could react, the dangerous goblin was before her, punching toward her guts.

With precise speed she pushed down with her palm. In that split second its body fell. Legs elevating to the air, it kicked—sending Mimi flying.

Her vision went blank. A direct kick to the head. Mid-motion it appeared before her, aura dangerous.

Her mind raced.

"My little Rain."

The voice of a very familiar figure appeared before Mimi. He barely had hair on his head, but his white hair could be deduced.

It was her father.

"Little Rain, where are you hiding?"

Mimi's little voice echoed happily in the hallways.

What is this mory? Mimi wondered.

Suddenly she was drawn to a scene where her father was fighting off a group of cultists.

He carried little Mimi in his arms, running. On reaching a cave's entrance he dropped her.

"My love, your mother is no more, and soon I will be."

Tears streaked from his face.

"No, don't speak like that, Father."

She hugged him.

"Papa, please don't leave ."

Cough. Cough.

Her father turned, screaming, luring in the Blood River cultists.

"My child, I hope—no, I know—you will grow up into a fine woman. Make proud, leave a peaceful life, find a good man."

"Just know I and your mother are watching you."

Mimi teared up.

"Why am I seeing this?"

Just when she questioned herself, she sensed danger.

Pouring a large amount of mana into her attack.

Boom!

Wind compressed, blasting her and the goblin into the distance, injuring themselves badly.

Dax smiled, witnessing everything.

"Very good."

While her team darted toward the sound of the explosion.
