"The hacker asked you to be here. That’s why I called you," Darren said, barely looking at them.
Mason and Caleb exchanged a glance, their faces twisting into expressions of disgust. They didn’t even try to hide their judgnt now.
"Wait, what? You called us here because of that?" Caleb spat, a mix of disbelief and anger in his voice.
"Why didn’t you just decline? You really dragged us into this ss, man."
Darren clenched his fists, his face flushing with irritation.
He could feel the anger rising in his chest, but he fought to keep it in check. They don’t get it. They never will.
"I didn’t have a choice!" Darren snapped. "You think I want to be in this ss?"
He took a step forward, his voice growing sharper.
"You two are the last people I expected to lecture , especially when all the riches you have now—everything you’ve got—is because of !"
Mason’s eyes widened in surprise, but Caleb rolled his eyes, clearly unimpressed.
"Oh, here we go," Mason muttered.
"Don’t start throwing that around. You act like you’re the only one who’s been through anything. We’ve all been through crap too."
Darren’s chest tightened, but he wasn’t backing down now. "You think I don’t know that?" He scoffed.
"You guys were happy to take what I gave you, weren’t you? You didn’t think twice when you were torturing people and playing your gas. Now that it’s your turn to feel the heat, you want to bail out on . Real friends, huh?"
His words hung heavy in the air, the truth of them stinging like a slap.
Mason and Caleb stood there, silent for a mont. The room was thick with tension.
Darren’s voice grew cold, filled with a bitter edge.
"My parents always warned about people like you. Fake friends who only stick around when it’s convenient. When the tables turn, though, you’re ready to throw under the bus, huh?"
Caleb shifted uncomfortably, his expression softening slightly, but he quickly masked it. "Look, Darren, we’re just... we’re just not in this with you. This isn’t our fight."
Mason crossed his arms, his eyes narrowed.
"You’re lucky we even showed up. But I’m telling you right now, I’m not getting dragged any deeper into whatever ss you’re in."
Darren let out a bitter laugh. "Figures," he muttered.
"It’s always like this, isn’t it? I stick my neck out for you two, and you can’t even do the sa when I need you."
He turned away, anger bubbling in his chest.
"I should’ve known better," he muttered, not caring if they heard him.
"I’ve been nothing but a stepping stone for you both. And now that things are tough, you’re ready to cut ties. Typical."
The silence in the room grew heavy as Darren tried to suppress the frustration threatening to boil over.
He wasn’t expecting them to be his knights in shining armor, but at least so empathy would’ve been nice.
Mason and Caleb didn’t respond, the weight of Darren’s words hanging between them. Neither of them knew how to handle the situation now.
Darren took a deep breath and slowly turned back to face them, trying to calm himself.
"You think I wanted to call you both here?" Darren’s voice was low and bitter. "I tried to stop it. I told the hacker no... I even begged. But the mont I refused, she posted my blackmail video on the university forum."
Mason and Caleb’s eyes widened. They hadn’t expected that.
"I didn’t have a choice," Darren continued, his tone growing colder. "And don’t act like you two are innocent. Don’t forget... every single ti I did sothing wrong... you both were there. Laughing. Cheering on. Pushing to keep going."
Caleb’s face turned pale. Mason looked away, clenching his jaw tightly.
"You think I’m the only one with dirt?" Darren scoffed. "You think she doesn’t have your secrets too? If she posts my bad deeds... yours will be next."
The room fell silent. Mason and Caleb both stood stiff, their faces turning dark and serious.
For a second, Mason wanted nothing more than to punch Darren in the face. Caleb balled his fists at his sides, his teeth grinding together.
They hated Darren for dragging them here. But most of all... they hated themselves for knowing Darren was right.
When they were bullying others, forcing girls into horrible situations, threatening classmates... they had never once thought it would backfire. They thought they were untouchable. Rich. Powerful. Backed by Darren’s family na.
But now... they felt like trapped rats in a cage.
Just then, Aurora’s voice echoed again from Darren’s phone speaker. Her tone was light, playful... but underneath, there was sothing sharp and dangerous.
"My, my... You three are more interesting than I thought," she said with a soft chuckle.
The boys froze.
"What do you want this ti?!" Darren snapped, glaring at the phone. His patience was gone. "Stop playing gas! Just tell us what you want!"
Aurora laughed softly, like she was enjoying their pain. "Relax. I’m not going to publicly humiliate you this ti... not yet anyway."
All three of them sighed in relief for a split second.
"But..." Aurora dragged out the word slowly. "I want to see sothing... spicy."
The air in the room turned ice cold.
The boys’ bodies stiffened.
Mason blinked, confused. Caleb frowned. Darren felt dread creeping up his spine.
"W-What do you an by spicy?" Caleb asked carefully.
Aurora’s next words made all three of them freeze in horror.
"I want you three... to make love to each other," Aurora said sweetly.
Silence.
Absolute silence.
Then—
"WHAT?!" All three shouted at the sa ti.
Their faces turned red with shock and disgust.
"We’re not doing that!" Mason shouted, stepping back like he had just heard sothing cursed.
"That’s disgusting! We’re straight!" Caleb yelled, shaking his head rapidly.
"Do you think this is so kind of joke?!" Darren added, his face pale with panic.
Aurora laughed again. "Oh? Disgusting? Violation? Molestation? That’s interesting coming from you three."
