The apartnt was small and in the end, Aurora was caught. In an attempt to flee, she lands straight on the ground.
"Sister please listen to ..." She pleaded, however the next second, Olivia jumped on her.
Aurora's soul almost left her body.
"Sister...have you eaten a cow? I am feeling as if a cow is sitting on !"
Olivia: "..."
In the end, Aurora was beaten badly, and only when she promised to give her 20$ lip loss, did Olivia let go.
Aurora greedily inhaled oxygen, when the doorbell rang. Olivia peeked through the peephole and when she saw the person outside, she instantly dashed to her room.
Under Aurora's stunned gaze, healthy-looking Olivia slowly transford into a sickly beauty.
With swaying steps, she moved toward the door.
"Sister, do you want to open the door? You look tired." Aurora asked with a hesitant expression.
Olivia's lips twitched and she flashed an evil smile,
"If you dare to move, I will give you a choke slam next."
Aurora: "..." What sickly beauty? This beauty screams poison!
Aurora watched with a shocked gaze, how her sister, using her sickly beauty, agreed on a date for the Friday.
"You are here to visit your relatives? Where do you live Texas? What a coincidence, even we used to live there before.
Why are we here? My father's company had gone bankrupt just a few months ago. Do you have a business of yours too? Great.
Why do I look pale? Oh...how did you know...Actually, I don't share this with anyone, but the reason why my father went bankrupt in the first place was that I have a mysterious illness.
To find the cure for it, my father hired a special team of researchers. To run the lab, my father has to spend $100,000 per day.
Yeah, I know it's a staggering amount, but our family could afford it. Once the cure is found, not only will I be able to live a healthy life, but we will also be wealthy again.
Who is behind ? She is our maid's daughter. Her mother was about to drop her into so unknown orphanage, and I felt pity for her, so Dad adopted her."
Aurora • adopted • Waters: "..."
"You feel touched by my kindness? It's nothing compared to the $100,000 I had once given to a beggar. Yes, I did. Huh? Do you want my number? Sure."
Aurora's mind buzzed with a single thought: Evil can't be defeated with words.
She returned to her room and ca to a conclusion, that her plan wasn't feasible. Though she could try again, Aurora decided to make plan B.
It was good to have a backup plan. So after brainstorming for a while, and eliminating different possibilities, Aurora ca up with a plan: Be rich!
Why not avoid male and female leads?
Well, she won't be with her siblings and parents all the ti, and if it's their destiny to et and insult the male and female leads, then...her intervention will just be a joke.
With that thought, Aurora started to recall the dream.
In the dream, there was one segnt where the female lead, using her intelligence predicted a share would skyrocket, but...Aurora couldn't rember the dream at all.
"I should sleep and see if I can recall the share through the dream." She thought and went to bed. Closing her eyes, Aurora soon fell asleep.
.....
The familiar white mist clouded Aurora's sight. She waited for the white mist to disappear but, unlike before, the mist didn't disappear.
Instead, she heard an echoing voice,
"Aurora go and visit the website 200%rebate."
The voice had a soothing effect, causing the listener to beco srized.
Alas...Aurora didn't fall for the illusion.
"Has dreams started to have advertisents too?"
The white mist: "..."
"This not an advertisent Aurora. Please visit the website 200%rebate."
"No!" Aurora refused instantly.
"Why?" The lodious voice sounded puzzled this ti.
"Mother has taught not to visit any suspicious websites! And what does 200%rebate even an?" Aurora questioned.
The lodious voice sounded again,
"It is a website, where as long as you submit the list of money spent on your family mbers, you will receive money in return."
Aurora paused before muttering,
"Scamrs these days have advanced so much, that they can now even hack soone's dreams."
White Mist: "..."
