"Oh?"

By now, Noah had already learned from the surrounding crowd that Valdrik had reached the 207th floor. Only then did he understand why so many people had gathered at the Sky Piercing Tower today.

"Not interested."

Although he understood the situation, Noah had absolutely no interest in accepting Valdrik’s challenge.

"If it’s because there is no wager, then I can offer a stake." Valdrik frowned slightly.

"What kind of stake can you offer?" Noah asked with a faint smile.

"The Great Wilderness Civilization is a Level 4 Civilization. Whatever kind of wager you want, I can provide it..."

Before Valdrik could finish speaking, Noah casually took an item out of his backpack.

In an instant, an incomparably brilliant orange radiance illuminated the surroundings.

Valdrik’s voice abruptly stopped.

He stared blankly at the item in Noah’s hand.

Bro... wasn’t this supposed to be just a friendly competition to motivate each other?

Why are you suddenly taking out a Legendary item?

Do you really have to go this far?

Valdrik was completely dumbfounded.

It was true that the Great Wilderness Civilization was a Level 4 Civilization, but that did not an Legendary items were common. On the contrary, even within the Great Wilderness Civilization, Legendary items were treasures possessed only by top-tier experts.

Although Valdrik was the Fourth Child of Civilization, he was still only a Fifth-Order expert. He had not yet qualified to possess a Legendary item.

Blue Star Civilization is supposed to be a First-Level Civilization... right?

That has to be fake.

How can a First-Level Civilization casually produce a Legendary item?

Not only Valdrik, but every Awakener present wore an expression of utter disbelief.

"Holy crap... am I really looking at a Legendary item?"

"Hah... just seeing one in my lifeti makes this trip worthwhile."

"Wait... what grade is that orange light? Why have I never seen it before?"

Every Awakener stared fixedly at the orange radiance in Noah’s hand.

If the rules of the Civilization Convergence Zone did not prevent them from acting, many of them probably would have already lost control and rushed forward to seize it.

As for whether they could defeat Noah or not...

That thought had long since been thrown out of their minds.

This was legendary.

Most Civilization didn’t even have much confidence in surviving a Human Level Calamity. For them, Perfect grade items were already incredibly rare, let alone Legendary items, which were two levels higher than Perfect Grade.

Noah wasn’t surprised by the reactions of the other Awakeners, but Valdrik’s shocked and dumbfounded expression did surprise him a little.

"You’re a Child of Civilization from a Level 4 Civilization, after all. It’s just a Legendary item. Is is really that big of a deal?"

Hearing this, Valdrik paused.

It’s just a legendary item? Did you hear yourself? Is that even sothing a human would say?

I haven’t even seen one before, okay?

"So? Do you still want to bet?" Noah asked with a smile.

"Bet my foot," Valdrik replied speechlessly.

Legendary! What could he even use as a wager?

It is were an Epic item, he could grit his teeth and bring sothing out, but a Legendary item truly exceeded his capabilities.

Even if he did possess sothing Legendary, he wouldn’t dare use it as a bet. Otherwise regardless he won or lost, the Civilization Lord would probably hang him up and whip him when he got back.

Noah, however, didn’t care.]

The Rain Stone Tablet was indeed priceless, but it would beco useless once he finished increasing his Willpower. If Valdrik could truly produce a Legendary item of equal value, Noah wouldn’t mind taking the gamble.

"Let’s talk sowhere else," Valdrik said.

"Alright."

Led by Valdrik, the two arrived at the residential district. They passed building after building before entering the mansion area.

Looking at the beautiful villas and sprawling mansions before him, Noah couldn’t help but feel a little envious.

He was still living in a rented apartnt in the Civilization Convergence Zone!

As expected of a Level 4 Civilization, their foundation was truly extraordinary.

Valdrik led Noah into one of the mansions. Instead of entering the main building, he brought him to a side room on the eastern side.

Even though it was only a side room, it was still far more luxurious than the apartnt Noah was living in.

Once they settled in, Valdrik visibly relaxed and began chatting with Noah. Clearly, Noah’s ability to casually produce a Legendary item had greatly piqued his curiosity. Naturally, he completely avoided bringing up the bet.

This was exactly the outco Noah wanted. Otherwise, why would he have revealed a Legendary item in the first place?

If you wanted others to take you seriously, you first needed sufficient strength or potential. And the value of a Legendary item was undoubtedly enough to achieve that.

"You brought here so easily. Aren’t you afraid that I’m from a Breeder Civilization?" Noah asked with a half-smile.

Earlier, outside the Sky Piercing Tower, so Awakeners had also shouted the words "Breeder Civilization."

"Heh, our Great Wilderness Civilization isn’t afraid of any Breeder Civilization," Valdrik said confidently.

And that was true.

The Great Wilderness Civilization was already a powerful and well-established civilization. They wouldn’t fear most Breeder Civilizations.

"Besides, I believe that Blue Star Civilization is definitely not a Breeder Civilization, and you are not a Breeder either," Valdrik said as he looked deeply at Noah.

Although his appearance was rough and rugged, he was far from simple-minded.

His intuition told him that Noah could never be a Breeder.

Noah didn’t dwell on the topic.

"Let’s forget about the bet. I want to use your civilization’s channels to acquire or sell so items. You can charge a commission."

There were simply too few things a First-Level Civilization could accomplish.

It wasn’t easy to even purchase a Perfect-grade item, and Noah didn’t have the ti to waste searching through the trading market.

"As long as it’s below Epic grade, I can make the decisions myself. But Epic and Legendary items are beyond my authority," Valdrik replied without making any promises.

He wasn’t surprised by Noah’s proposal.

In the Civilization Convergence Zone, it was common for lower-level civilizations to rely on the channels and connections of higher-level civilizations.
