Now reading: Chapter 39: Enetering Beginning Of The Cataclysm Again! from Born Sacred, a Sci-fi novel by InfiniteAbyss.

Noah was sowhat silent.

Three-order!

He glanced at the sky, the countdown had changed to 89 days.

He sowhat understood why the officials were so generous to him, supporting him without reservation, even telling him such secrets without concealnt.

They hoped he could grow quickly and beco a pillar against the Ghost-Level Calamity.

There were less than three months left. He had to reach Three-order, or even stronger.

Noah was even more motivated to beco stronger.

"Oh right, that person who tried to assassinate , I wonder what’s going on with them?" Noah’s mind stirred. He suddenly thought of the assassin; that person was also a driving force for his strength.

Noah still rembered the reason the other party tried to assassinate him, shouting that he had killed so-and-so, as if he were a Great Demon King with hands stained with blood.

At first, he definitely thought the other party was crazy, but the subsequent global awakening made him have so other thoughts.

He was certainly not a rciless demon who had committed countless slaughters now.

But, what about the future?

Noah couldn’t guarantee that he wouldn’t change.

In the past two days of running instances, quite a few creatures had died by his hand. Although they were illusions and not real lives, he could also feel a slight change in himself.

More resolute, more indifferent?

People change, but Noah was fundantally opposed to becoming a cold-blooded demon without feelings or righteousness.

Hearing Rose ntion that precognitive Awakener, Noah couldn’t help but have a thought, rembering the assassin, and also wanting to know what his future would look like.

However, this thought flashed in Noah’s mind and then disappeared.

That was an SSS-grade precognitive Talent, the absolute top-tier strategic Talent. Given the current state of Blue Star Awakeners, the other party’s order was at most First Order. To glimpse such a future at that order would surely require an unimaginable price.

The precognitive ability must be used for extrely critical matters.

Noah didn’t think that glimpsing his own future counted as a critical matter.

Not to ntion the officials wouldn’t agree, Noah himself found the idea preposterous.

"The future should be held in one’s own hands." Noah understood in his heart that the person he would beco in the future should be decided by himself.

His desire to see the future faded, but Noah didn’t let the matter of the assassin go. That was the closest he had co to death, and not understanding the reason behind it would always be a thorn in his heart.

He had been busy running instances these past two days, focusing on how to beco stronger, but that didn’t an he had forgotten about this matter.

He picked up his phone and called the security officer who had taken his statent back then. After a mont, Noah hung up the phone.

"He really is ntally ill, and a severe fantasist..." A heavy weight lifted from his heart, and Noah quickly put the matter behind him.

The importance of the reborn and Noah’s importance made the Supernatural Managent Bureau extrely cautious in their subsequent handling, dealing with every detail flawlessly. At least, it wasn’t sothing Noah could easily see through, unless he put in significant effort to investigate and gather evidence, only then might he detect sothing unusual.

However, Noah didn’t think too much about it. The assassin was his initial motivation to beco stronger, and getting the answer was enough. His thoughts were no longer on this matter.

...

Supernatural Managent Bureau.

Rose sighed softly. She already knew about Noah’s call.

"Hopefully, this is the end of it." Defining Lucian as ntally ill was just the beginning. To prevent Noah from discovering the truth and thus developing a dislike for the Supernatural Managent Bureau, Lucian had decided to completely retreat behind the scenes.

Not joining the Supernatural Managent Bureau was just one part; he would not participate in any actions that might draw Noah’s attention, including competing for first clears, instance records, and so on.

As for when Noah grows into an omnipotent, omniscient transcendent being in the future, he will naturally see through everything. If he is a god then, he shouldn’t mind the Supernatural Managent Bureau’s concealnt. If he is a devil, then death is just the end.

...

Half an hour passed in a flash. Noah had long since finished reading the information.

For the sa instance, the first clears for the three difficulties are independent. Taking the first clear for the Ordinary instance doesn’t make the first clear for the Difficult instance disappear. Out of more than fifty top teams worldwide, only they had set their sights on the Difficult instance.

In other words, as long as they kept running the Difficult instance, no one could snatch the first clear from them. Competitors didn’t exist.

Keeping an eye on the progress of those teams was mainly to know when they had maxed out their growth value, as grinding growth value didn’t require entering the Difficult instance.

Once the growth value was full, they could enter the Advancent Instance. Noah didn’t want to be engrossed in grinding for the Difficult instance’s first clear only to have soone else clear the Advancent Instance first.

After all, the Advancent Instance wasn’t necessarily harder than the Difficult instance. Nothing is absolute, it’s better to be careful.

"Let see just how hard this Difficult instance really is," Noah said in a deep voice.

[You have selected Trial Instance: Beginning of the Cataclysm (Difficult)] [Entering instance, ten, nine...]

The five appeared on the familiar rooftop of the building. The entry point was the sa as the Ordinary difficulty, and the instance description had no difference. The difficulty changed from Ordinary to Difficult, and there was one major change.

"The survive ti for 24 hours’ task is gone," Zara’s face changed drastically. This ant there were no shortcuts. To clear it, they could only kill the Virus Source Entity.

"It’s a head-on fight. I have a bad feeling," Zara shrunk her neck.
