After reading the full description of the rat’s status, Dhruv cos to one conclusion.
"So, the iron nugget is the shit of this rat. How exciting," Dhruv mumbled under his breath. Dhruv had found so many weird things throughout these past few days that he couldn’t even say he was surprised by this monster and his shit.
With a sigh, Dhruv seriously thinks about this unique monster.
Dhruv thought, ’So, this rat monster eats these iron ore clusters, absorbs the mana and the impurities from the ore, and then produces pure iron as a result. And to achieve all this, it has its own set of mutations. Nice.’
Not in the mood for any experints, Dhruv released the monster into the cave and began to move deeper.
Dhruv increased his pace, and after walking for around ten minutes, he stopped when he found a very interesting thing ahead of him.
There was a portal in front of him.
"Hmmm! Is this the portal that will teleport to the second level of the dungeon? It must be. But why didn’t they just put it above the cave and had to especially put it in a place where it is hard to find?" After thinking for a while, Dhruv understood why they had done this.
’It is done so the traveler has to find the portal to reach the next level of the dungeon. Huh! No matter how much they try to make it feel real, there are still so aspects of gas left in these things,’ Dhruv concluded as he looked towards the portal, contemplating whether he should enter it or not.
After pondering for a minute, he didn’t find any reason not to go through the portal and began to walk toward it at a calm pace.
After taking a few steps, he reached the portal. As he stepped forward to enter it, he suddenly felt a repulsive force from the portal, denying his entry.
"So, I can’t enter the portal at this mont. Then when can I actually enter it? Is it only open when I kill the boss on the first floor? But who is the boss?" Dhruv thought as he looked around the portal to find anything that could be helpful at this mont.
As he looked around, he found out that there were four holes on each side of the portal in the stone beside it. The holes weren’t big; they were only the size of a cigar case.
’Is it that I have to place an object in these boxes for the portal to work?’ Dhruv thought as he tried to figure out what these four items could be.
After thinking for a while, he rembered sothing.
’Isn’t the number of goblin villages four?’ Dhruv thought. ’So, I have to obtain one item from each of the villages to unlock the portals. Looks easy-peasy.’ He concluded with a smile on his face.
As his intention of coming to this dungeon has been fulfilled Dhruv began to return towards the Portal. After reaching the portal he looks at his map and enters the portal.
Arriving outside the goblin dungeons, Dhruv didn’t walk towards the village. Instead, he began to move toward the second dungeon, where the monsters would be spiders.
Dhruv didn’t know the exact location of this dungeon, so it took him so ti to find the second dungeon. The location of the second dungeon was quite comical.
This second dungeon was located in the personal washroom of the Warden.
’Hehe, does that an he has to constantly be in the bathroom? What excuses would he have to make if there were any higher-ups here who had the power to question him?’ Dhruv thought, imagining the scene where the Warden was constantly going in and out of the bathroom.
Looking at the portal in front of him, which was approximately the sa size as the goblin’s portal, Dhruv didn’t hesitate to enter it.
As he stepped into the portal, his mind went blank for a second before he regained control over his body once again.
As Dhruv looked around, he found out that he had once again co to a cave.
He gazed around and realized that there was nothing but darkness surrounding him. Looking around and discovered that the place he had spawned in was too narrow. Its size was only enough for two people to walk side by side.
At first, Dhruv wanted to light a torch so he could see around himself, but he stopped himself when he rembered that he was in a totally dark place and the monsters here would likely be very sensitive to light.
Not wanting to attract the attention of monsters by lighting a torch, Dhruv began to wander in the darkness. His only support was the mana sense.
One good thing about the dungeon was that almost everything had mana in it, making it easier to navigate with the help of mana sense. With the help of mana sense, he could still guess the outline of the objects around him.
As Dhruv walked for so ti, he soon realized he had found the exit or maybe even the entrance of the cave he was in. Eager to learn more about the place, Dhruv hurried his steps. The closer he got to the entrance of the cave, the more he felt that soone had increased the brightness.
Reaching the edge of the cave, Dhruv deactivated the mana sense and looked in front of him. The mont he gazed ahead, he was once again srized by the beauty before him.
"What a beauty," Dhruv exclaid as he gazed in front of him.
