Sighing! Dhruv created a tal chair and sat beside her bed. Closing his eyes, he tried to relax, knowing he needed to be in his best state for what lay ahead.

But the opposite happened. The more he tried to calm himself, the more vivid the images of Aurora’s burned body beca in his mind. This tornt continued for several minutes as he struggled to escape the relentless grip of guilt.

’Ahhhh! This won’t do...’ Dhruv thought, eventually realizing that just thinking about it wouldn’t change anything. He needed to do sothing and to do that, he had to continue learning more about the problem.

He had to understand Authority.

As his mind thinks of a clear goal, Dhruv eventually calms down. Looking at Aurora from the corner of his vision, he readied himself for what was to co.

Diving deep within himself, he began searching for the knowledge the cosmos stored inside him during the ability creation. Having done this multiple tis, it didn’t take him long to find what he was looking for.

With each passing mont, he tried to understand the whole thing again and again. It took him so ti, but Dhruv began to grasp Authority magic as a whole.

With each passing mont, the muscles of his face twitched showing different expressions each ti.

The more he learned about it, the more shocked he beca. So information made him happy, so made him gloomy, while so straight up didn’t make sense.

Sighing once again, Dhruv recollected everything and opened his eyes.

Thinking, he pulled a diary and pen from his inventory. Flipping through the pages, he tried to begin writing but didn’t know where to start, leaving him staring at the blank page.

After a few monts, he finally placed the pen’s nib on the paper. Sighing, he began to write from the basics of what he understood about Authority.

’This affinity is really interesting...... No, simply saying it is intresting would be an understatent.’ Dhruv thought, a smile appearing on his face.

The very first thing he learned about was its nature. The first nature of this elent was that it wasn’t an elent. Authority is a concept, like he had previously thought.

Being a Concept, it behaves similarly yet in a totally different fashion compared to simple elents. And this exact behavior can be used to one’s advantage.

Dhruv wanted to use this advantage as soon as possible, but he had to calm down. The second nature of Authority was sothing to be wary and very careful of.

He had to be careful, as Authority wasn’t an affinity that would only influence others—no, with each passing mont, it would try to break the mind of its user as well if they were not careful.

This holds even more true when the user is in the starting tiers, not having much understanding of the concept. While having lower tier in Authority resistance plays a role as well.

The third nature of Authority cos from how it chooses its owner... the affinity will decide whether soone is even worthy of using its power or not.

Dhruv learns that to use its spell, he has to gain so sort of authority over his own body... which for so reason, he already did. After so heavy thinking, he linked one incident that could be counted.

’Is it because I had fused with the cores and changed the nature of my own species, challenging the norm... can this be called having authority over his body?’ Dhruv thought, scratching his head.

What he thought didn’t matter, as the affinity seed to acknowledge the changes in light. It considered Dhruv a worthy wielder.

Its strangeness didn’t stop there, as there was another interesting thing he noticed—the fourth nature of the affinity. For reasons unknown, the spells of this affinity will be affected by the influence of its concept.

For example, if Dhruv was surrounded by beings he had any authority over, then the spells would change according to it. Him having an increased level of authority will exponentially increase the effect of the spell as well.

After summing all of this, it can be said that if Dhruv was surrounded by the ones he had enough authority over, then with the influence of the concept, even a tier I spell of Authority could be as powerful as tier III.

It was a good thing, but Dhruv was skeptical that he would reach that level anyti soon.

’Talking about spells... The thod of spellcasting is weird... hmmm! I don’t think saying it’s weird is right. It’s tedious... yes, let’s call it tedious...,’ Dhruv thought, understanding how the spellcasting works.

Flipping the pages, he put the heading: Spellcasting.

Dhruv wrote, rembering the steps for spell casting. From his understanding, Authority spellcasting seed a modified version of elental spellcasting.

It had a total of five steps, each more strange than the other.

The first was the simplest yet the hardest at the sa ti.

To even start casting the spell, he had to be in an extrely relaxed state... or more like a ditative state. If he had even a single unnecessary thought, then it would be enough to doom his spell creation.

Having failed there, he had to start from the very beginning, which was strangely not a bad thing as he was simply on the first step to begin with.

’I have a way to make this easier...’ A cheeky smile appeared as Dhruv thought of sothing.

Having so many skill points collecting dust on his status, Dhruv was already trying to find a way to spend it, and now he had a perfect way of using them to help himself at this stage at the sa ti.

’I will soon go on a shopping spree...’ he thought, thinking of buying at least two or three ditation-related skills. Having seen them already on the buying page, he wasn’t worried about their availability as well.

Having figured out the problem, he moved to the next step.
