Even with one of their brethren fallen, the Crystallce moved with cold steps, unhinged by the fallen soldier. The battlefield lay shrouded in an eerie mist, the air thick with coldness.
Dhruv and the guardians stood in a tight formation, each mber ready to unleash their skills upon the approaching horde of ice monsters. Dhruv, his hands glowing with flickers of fire, stood at the forefront, his eyes fixed on their every move.
Alaric, the enigmatic shadow spawn, lded seamlessly with the darkness, his form barely visible as he slowly beca a black smoke, ready to disappear at any mont.
Azarex commanded his undead minions, their lifeless eyes filled with an unnatural hunger for anything alive.
And last but not least, Vexar, a soon-to-be master swordsman, gripped his blade with unwavering confidence, his muscles taut and ready for the imminent clash.
The second icy monster charged forward, its spiked limbs crunching against the ground. Without hesitation, Dhruv thrust his hands forward, a searing ball of flas erupting from his palms. The fire licked at the ice monster, lting its frozen exterior and revealing its vulnerable core, ready to be devoured.
Alaric’s shadowy tendrils coiled around another monster, and in a rapid motion, a Razer shard dagger sliced across its neck. The creature collapsed to the ground, shuddering in its own icy blue blood.
As the battle raged on, Azarex’s undead warriors joined the fray. With eerie precision, they sward the ice monsters, the powerful goblins clawed hands and teeth tearing through the frozen bodies.
Vexar danced between the enemies, his sword a blur of motion as he deflected the icy spikes launched by the monsters. His strikes were precise, finding the weak points in their defenses and shattering them like fragile glass. He moved with calculated precision without showing any flaw in his form.
A larger ice monster, its form resembling a towering beast of frost, bellowed and unleashed a blast of icy breath. But Dhruv was quicker. He swiftly conjured a swirling vortex of fire, with the flas swirling around him and creating a shield of searing heat. The icy breath t the wall of fire and evaporated into a cloud of steam.
"Roaaar..."
With a mighty roar, All of Azarex’s ga undead charged at the beast, grappling it with surprising strength, while Alaric’s shadow tendrils ensnared its limbs, rendering the beast immobile. With the sa monstrous strength, the goblins began tearing the beast apart from all four of its limbs. The creature’s cries of agony... but alas, it was for nothing. The beast’s pain only fades away when the light in his eyes goes away, leaving utter darkness behind.
Vexar locked eyes with another adversary, an ice monster with sharp claws. With a fluid motion, he deflected the monster’s clawed attack, his own sword singing through the air and striking true. The ice monster was sliced into two equally large parts.
Yet the battle was far from over. The ice monsters’ numbers seed to be in the hundreds, and their determination was the sa as his own. Another wave of enemies charged forward, their icy spikes raining down like deadly hail.
Instinctively, Dhruv conjured a shield out of tal, but before the spikes could even hit the shield, it clashed with another shield, the only difference being that it was made out of ice. Rembering he didn’t have to focus on defense, he began firing a barrage of his own attacks.
A powerful ice monster stepped forward, its form coated in an impenetrable layer of ice. It summoned an icy shield, its surface glistening like polished crystal. Vexar’s blade struck against the shield, the impact sending a shockwave through the ground. Undeterred, he pressed on, his strikes growing more relentless as he aid for the monster’s joints, where the ice should be the weakest.
But he was wrong, and the monster had a coat of crystal on top of the ice, and his blade slipped on the crystal. The monster didn’t miss his opportunity to strike. It lifted its shield high in the air and pressed it down toward the Vexar heads with all its might. Midway through adjusting his stance, Vexar found himself with no ans of evading the attack. Grinning his teeth, he strained to alter the sword’s trajectory, but his efforts were in vain. The shield, now re centiters away from his face, was poised to collide. He shut his eyes for an instant, bracing for the inevitable impact, convinced that this was the end...
"Clang.."
A sound of sothing hitting tal was heard in Vexar’s ear, he opens his eyes and looked up seeing a tal shield in the way of his death, the mont his gaze is upon the shield, he knew whoso work is this. With the precious second given to him by his master, he quickly corrected his posture and With a final, mighty blow, Vexar shattered the shield and delivered a fatal strike, causing the ice monster to crumble.
As the battle continued, Dhruv and Azarex’s ice undead worked in tandem. Dhruv kept using tal magic, shaping it into deadly projectiles and launching it at the approaching ice monsters. The projectiles struck with incredible force, with a mild infusion of fire in the tal arrow, helped it pierce through the icy defenses like butter.
Knowing the end is near the remaining ice monsters rallied for a final, desperate charge. The ground trembled beneath their frozen footsteps as they unleashed a barrage of icy spikes and freezing breath. The cohort stood their ground, their determination unwavering. Dhruv’s flas burned brighter, Alaric’s shadows grew darker, Azarex’s undead fought harder, and Vexar’s swordsmanship began to refine.
When the last few were left, Dhruv unleashed a torrent of fire magic, a maelstrom of flas that engulfed the remaining ice monsters. Their icy forms sizzled and lted, their shrieks of agony piercing the air. Alaric’s shadows writhed and swirled, constricting and crushing the weakened monsters, while the rest were finished off by undead and their relentless ferocity.
And then...
And then the battlefield fell silent. The mist began to clear, revealing the triumphant figures of Dhruv and his guardians, their forms battered and weary but victorious. The ice monsters were no more, their frozen bodies were now covered in blue blood.
Looking at the ground, which now looked like the sky had fallen on the earth, Dhruv sighed in relief.
’Let’s see what those bastards have for us’ With another sigh, he began walking toward the prison gate.
