The harsh voice cut through the air, sharp with impatience and unfair bla.

"No!" Freezing seawater flooded his mouth and nose. The Eldritch waves rushed in, tearing at his flesh again and again.
Kevin sank into the deep sea, drowning in sharp pain and despair. The last thing he saw was Bella snuggled in Joseph’s arms, drifting further and further away.
"I hate you so much!"
"Bella! You liar!"
"If I could start over, I’d never give you an ounce of my heart!"
Before he lost consciousness, Kevin only wanted to kill everyone who had betrayed him.

Bella, his girlfriend, stood right in front of him with her hands on her hips. Her face was full of impatience and hurt.
"Kevin! I know you’re mad at , but I really just went to a party last night! My underwear... I guess I drank too much and lost it sowhere!"
As she talked, her eyes suddenly turned red. Her voice started to crack. "Plus, I’m carrying your baby. How can you not trust like this... You’re letting down so much."
Kevin stared blankly at Bella. He knew that face too well.
A pointed chin, big eyes, a pure look. Paired with the way she bit her lower lip when she was upset, it always made him soft-hearted.
In his past life, he had been fooled by that exact look for a whole three years.
For her and the baby in her stomach, he risked his life hunting Eldritch things and gathering supplies.
All the food, fresh water, and dicine he traded for ended up in Bella and her so-called "best friends" mouths.
Especially Joseph. Bella’s "male best friend" on the boat. The two of them kept flirting and sneaking around.
Every ti Kevin showed his anger, he got blad by Bella and scolded by the others on the boat.

"I’m such a damn idiot," Kevin muttered.
"What was that?" Bella frowned, not catching his words.

"I just wanted to relax with my friends! And you’re acting so suspicious. Is that because you don’t even love ?"
Kevin’s hand tightened into a fist without him even realizing it.
His eyes locked onto Bella’s throat. He imagined his hands around it. Squeezing. Harder.
Bella felt a chill creep down her spine under his stare. She instinctively took a step back. "W-what are you looking at like that for?"
Kevin took a slow, deep breath and forced the urge to kill down.
Not yet. Killing soone was a cri.
If he snapped now, he’d end up in jail for sure.
He’d wait until the Eldritch arrived. That’s when he’d get his revenge on Bella and Joseph.
"What ti is it?" Kevin asked slowly. His voice was dead calm.
Bella blinked, surprised. She glanced at her phone without thinking. "May 1st, 2026. Twelve noon... why do you ask?"
"Nothing. I’m just hungry." Kevin stood up. His tone was flat.
Bella just stood there, stunned.
Was he just looking for an excuse to back down?
She let out a huge sigh of relief. A fake smile instantly spread across her face. She slid over and wrapped her arm around his. "I’ll cook for you right now! Just give a minute. I actually learned a new recipe lately. You’re gonna love it!"
She turned and headed for the kitchen.
Kevin watched her walk away. A cold smirk curled his lips.
Cook?
Bella couldn’t cook to save her life.
The only thing she knew was calling for takeout.
Just like her "love" for him was just empty talk.
But it didn’t matter anymore.
Three days. Just three days until the Eldritch arrived.
After that, he’d make this woman regret ever being born.
Kevin sat down on the couch and started thinking fast.
