Surrounding the enormous walls made of stone and wood around the Forest of Beginnings, dozens of gray- and azure-colored portals were opening, constantly pouring out hundreds of Undead Monsters from within them.
Giant Phantasmal Creatures, Skeleton Beasts of all shapes and sizes, and Giant Zombies, mostly humanoid, which were wearing bone armor and weapons, charged constantly from these portals. Their presence alone spread a foul decaying aura and phantasmal flas, attempting to consu the strong Domain of Nature that Planta had worked so hard to spread.
However, the Nature Domain was just that, as it was also part of the Forest of Beginnings and its endless, ever-growing life.
Although the Demon King of Miasma had managed to destroy the Forest once, thanks to Planta and her friends help, they were able to revive the entire forest, now becoming its core, the gigantic young Yggdrasil Tree, Planta's "true body" sat still, silently, like a mighty tower or better, a behemoth.
The Undead marched forward, only to be hit by invisible waves of Spiritual Energies constantly released by the tree and its Domain. Hundreds if not thousands of Lesser and Normal Elental Spirits materialized one after another, their lives were short, but they sacrificed themselves to protect the focal point of their domain.
Fire Spirits exploded, burning through the Undead, Sunlight Spirits released rays of sunlight before dissipating, Earth Spirits transford the earth and created pits, temporarily burying the undead monsters under the earth, and so on.
There were even Water and Ice Spirits, which appeared in large quantities to fight, releasing floods of cold water that then froze and ended turning the undead into frozen statues, later shattered by the stone spirits taking the form of giants made of stone.
However, at the end of the day, they were the most basic of spirits, the strongest ones required Planta or a strong spirit magician to be summoned, and the basic spirits born within the Domain of Nature in the Forest of Beginnings just weren't enough.
"Continue attacking! Don't stop!"
"We're breaking in! Destroy this wretched place!"
"Burn every tree we see!"
The Undead charged into the outer forest, burning the trees surrounding the walls and trying to completely destroy nature with everything they had.
However, the trees started moving on their own, eventually, trembling and roaring as if they were alive, giant Ents surged from the ground, noticing their burning branches, they started fighting back after having a rude awakening.
"We're under attack!" one scread, followed by countless more waking up.
They had moved outside of the walls to beco guardians of the Forst and to be able to intercept attackers at all tis! Led by their Leader, the Ent King, they materialized massive weapons made of wood, and started smashing the smaller Undead into smithereens.
"The trees were Ents! Bring the stronger Undead!"
A flying crow undead flew over the undead army, alerting the generals that had just arrived through the portals, most of them resembled undead knights covered from head to toe with black armor or white bone armor.
However, unlike the other Undead Monsters, their presences were strangely "lively" and weren't completely dead themselves- no, there was a clear sign, auras of lifeforce coming from them.
There were also almost fifty of these "generals" who were given the privilege and ability to control these Undead and even to obtain many powerful Undead Knight and Necromancer Skills.
"Dammit, those fucking walking trees that fucked us over that other ti, they're outside the walls now?!"
One of them, a tall and muscular general covered with crimson bone armor groaned angrily, swinging his blazing sword in frustration.
"Gaston! Calm down! This is only the beginning! We literally have an unlimited supply of Undead from the Underworld," a woman wearing tight black armor and with the helt in the shape of a black and red spider stepped towards him, holding a long black katana. "We'll have our revenge, but we have to first see how they respond.
A war of attrition for now would be the best, to tire them out using our army of small fries."
"Silvera…" groaned Gaston, crossing his arms, the long red hair his avatar had waving by the opening of the helt. "Fine, whatever! But we're definitely breaking in once they finally weaken enough! I can't wait to burn them all to cinders! I want my Phoenix Item back too, and my sword! Even this Undead sword is only a temporary item, it says it'll disappear in like a week!"
"I know, most of everything we have is temporary quest-tied equipnt," said another general, a slenderer man with silver hair and wearing bony armor, holding two swords made of black tal and covered on phantasmal flas. "But this opportunity, we cannot really waste it!
Since we were given the opportunity to join the opposite faction that we've been able to easily massacre all the bastards that looked down on us. And it's ti for us finally have our revenge. We'll burn that tree, just have patience. With all the Raid Points we gather today, we'll be able to get more permanent equipnt and skills.
Hell, that Skeleton guy said we could even beco generals of the demon king of death! Can you believe it? That's a world boss!"
"Haha, I know, Elios" Gaston smiled. "I can hardly believe that our pathetic shitty lives changed so much just a week ago… Well, now it's finally ti to set things right and fuck them back."
Gaston, Silvera, and Elios, the three Leaders of three different Guilds, Players that composed toe Knight Alliance, a Guild Alliance that once attempted to raid the Forest of Beginnings and were slaughtered miserably had co back, allying the Undead Faction that was invading the world of Arcadia, they had willingly beco enemies of all other Players.
However, when offered so much power, who would ever reject such a good offer, especially when progression through the ga beca increasingly harder after all the penalties they received?
If anything, this was an opportunity they couldn't waste!
Yet would the inhabitants of the Forest of Beginnings let their sacred lands be trampled by the combined forces of Players and Undead?
"There they are there's Players working with the Undead!"
"Just like before, the Demon Kings are recruiting evil players to work for them…"
Acorn and Nieve appeared above the walls, accompanied by hundreds of warriors from the forest.
And behind them, a beautiful fairy princess overflowing with a pink aura nodded.
"It looks like the army is much stronger than before too! A-Are they the sa players that invaded us before?"
Florie, the Fairy Princess, had grown a lot since the last ti she fought alongside Planta, now having matured more, her magic powers had advanced greatly.
"Yeah Florie!" said Acorn. "We'll have to put all our efforts into defeating them…"
"But if we don't get inside the gates, the undead will never stop coming," said Nieve. "We have to kill the bosses inside!"
"Hmm, but with all these monsters in front, charging towards there will be impossible," Florie squinted her eyes. "Queen Titania entrusted with leading the army, I cannot disappoint her… we must devise a strategy. Until then, we must defend! Let's support the Ent Army protecting the forest in the anti!"
