The people talked with one another, overall looking very happy and content with what had happened, a large logo above the wall where they were read [Nexus Corporations] with a big X and CO in the background, looking both stylish and futuristic.
"Director, did you see the news?"
A woman with long black hair that seed to be Japanese walked towards a man standing there, glancing at the screens in silence.
His face didn’t seem to change at all, he was tall, very tall, with long silvery-white colored hair, almost tallic in color.
His eyes were also dark silver of color, and his skin very pale. Wearing a gray suit with a red tie, he noticed the worker walking to his side with an almost robotic glance.
"Yes, I saw… It is good. I am relieved."
"You don’t seem… so happy though."

The man smiled faintly, although his face remained almost expressionless even now.

The people walked out of the office as new workers stepped forward, the director greeted them before he went on his own way.
The woman glanced at him from afar, following him while trying to be sneaky, her presence lowered through a small rune within her left hand, glowing with a black light encompassing her.
She saw the man walk through several corridors, and then enter another room, she looked inside from the open door, noticing him standing in front of soone.
It looked like a hospital room, despite being in the middle of a huge company building.
Soone was resting over a hospital bed, it looked like a girl, in her late teens. She had pale white hair like the Director, and her eyes were closed.
She was connected to various tubes and other objects, and over her eyes and forehead there was a small object connecting her mind to a virtual reality.
The girl looked very weak and slender; she had been in a coma for many years already.
"T-This is…?"
The woman gasped for a mont, covering her mouth as she glanced at the girl.
"You can co in if you want to."
"A-Ah!"
The woman was shocked, she was sure she had used a strong charm to hide her presence.
And yet the director’s silver-colored eyes could see through everything.
"You don’t have to be afraid, I will overlook this misconduct and not fire you."
He smiled gently.
"Were you curious who she is?"
"D-Director… Um, yes."
The director looked back at the girl, for the first ti, the woman saw genuine feelings within his eyes.
"She’s my daughter."

The woman slowly walked to his side, as she looked at the girl, with pitying eyes.
"What… happened to her?"
"She fell into a coma 13 years ago, when she was twelve. An accident left her with brain damage. Doctors her brain had essentially died."

The woman remained in silence, shocked. One of the reasons being that despite being 25 years of age, the girl didn’t look older than twelve, it was as if her body also stopped aging once she fell into a coma.

The woman sighed, feeling both sorry, but also amazed about everything she was learning.
The director was soone very trusting too, she could’ve been a spy or sothing, yet he told her everything anyway.
"And you created the Virtual Soul Engine to help her soul awaken within her body?"
"Sothing like that… I wanted to also… to also give her another chance."
"H-How so?"
"By letting her live in that other world, she would be able to experience everything she hasn’t been able to experience through most of her life, as she was only twelve when she fell into a coma."
