Apparently, Mark was only halfway done with his Totem carving, he was the fastest, but I guess I have beco even faster now, hehe!
But it sure is exhausting though, and we need to make eight more?!
"I've got the hang of it so maybe I could make another quicker than before," I said.
"I'm just speechless, it usually takes a while…" Mark sighed. "I guess you're just built different at this point, Elayne. Hahah…!"
"Hey! You're pretty good as well! Maybe you need a little sothing?" I wondered, sitting by his side. "Let help you finish it! I'll guide your hand… Also let enchant your tool so it's better."
"What did I say about needing to rest?" He sighed.
"Hey we're resting! We're sitting and only moving our hands," I said with a smile. "Let's do it now…!"
I helped Mark finish his own totem, adding a few more stacks to it. At the end, I made the white wood one and he made the black steel wood.
Makes sense why he was taking a while though, that's wood as hard as steel he was trying to make into a totem after all!
"It's done… Well that took much less ti with your help…" Mark said. "Hmm, with this we can get it done then. These two seem plenty strong."
"What do you want to get done?" I wondered.
"It'll be a special type of Ward for the Domain," Mark said. "I've been thinking about it for a while now. It will be able to summon very strong Totem Spirits to help once the Domain is attacked."
"Ooh! But don't we already get a lot of defenses thugh?" I wondered. "You didn't really need to do this much effort dear…"
"Hah, well… You never have enough defenses, Elayne, don't be too overconfident." He smiled. "The more defenses you got, the more your enemies will have to get through them to even enter the domain. After what happened the other day… I don't really want such a tragedy to repeat again."
"Mark…" I felt a bit moved. "You're right… Alright, how do you do this formation thingy?"
"I'll do it on my own so just watch," he smiled confidently. "It'll be quick!"
He quickly ran to the back of the fiery garden we made and placed the white colored totem there.
Ah right! We didn't paint them! Are they fine like that?
I guess if he didn't say anything it doesn't matter…
Anyways, well, after he placed the white colored totem I made on my own, the other totem he made was then placed at the opposite end of the large garden.
Once both were placed, he touched the ground and began to spread his aura into several rivers. I saw many spirits appear around him.
Cute, tiny spirits such as Smalls Suns, Tiny Embers, and Baby Fires, which were the various types of Fire attribute spirits out there, and also sunlight spirits.
FLUOSH!
The aura of spirits spread everywhere, connecting both totems, which he had imbued with runes beforehand and…
FLASH!
I saw in awe as several threads made of this energy interconnected beautifully, leaving in slight awe at the scene.
"Woah…"
A part of the "sky" of my Domain beca red for a mont, as I saw the silhouettes of many beasts erge and roar, before going back to normal.
And then I felt a fiery, and powerfully wild power flow into my own body, the connection with the domain had been strengthened!
Wait, don't tell …

I looked at Mark, who was tinkering with the totems and was already about to carve another one.
He didn't even realize he made my Domain stronger?!
He's sure amazing!
I'll tell him this after I'm done with this…
I suppose… fresh beast blood every full moon? It doesn't seem hard to do, but the problem will be actually rembering it.
Maybe I can leave that task to the Fae or Katherine… though Katherine is leaving in another week I think, unfortunately.
There's Gabriel as well, but I don't think he would like the idea of offering blood to so "pagan spirits" so maybe not.
Or I could give the task to the Druids too?
Although wouldn't it be too selfish of seeing how they're still mourning their fallen comrades?
Aaah, I feel confused but… sure! Let's accept it anyway.
"I accept the contract terms! However, I would like to be reminded of the fresh blood sacrifice every full moon. My life is incredibly busy, and I might forget."

I felt their presence intensify everywhere.
It encompassed my body, shining with bright red and orange colors. For a mont, I had slight visions of the past. Of indigenous people worshipping these totem spirits.
Their beautiful rituals, their laughter, and the many tis they were protected from the wild beast that road the old world.
I even saw warriors who carved themselves with runes of these totem spirits and gained their powers, similar to Mark.
I guess they consider him such a warrior already.
