Okay the Wendigo Urban Spirit wasn't what I expected.
I really thought it would be so kind of scary, skeletal creature, but it ended up looking rather.
Well…
"It is an honor to et you, Spirit Goddess, as you can see, I am an Urban Spirit, a Wendigo that happened to wander in this city, attracted by your divine brilliance. We humbly apologize if Julio brought to you so stress or any trouble…"
He spoke very eloquently for once, and he wasn't even scary at all either.
"Julio desperately told us to co here and t you, and we thought he was joking or forcing the situation, so we discussed for a while until he convinced us but well, it is still a rather troubleso affair…"
I looked down on him, yes, DOWN. As he was so small he didn't even reach my height.
The Wendigo was roughly the sa size as Gabriel himself, and he looked like a pale white skinned boy, with long white hair, red eyes pointy ears, and wearing a huge horned deer skull on top of his little head.
He wore mostly native Arican costu over his body, and he was holding at all tis a huge bone club attached to many bony fingers with sharp blade-like ends.
Yeah it was a bit exaggerated to say he was scary, just what sort of Urban Story even created a Wendigo like this?!
"A-Ah, yes… Nice to et you," I nodded. "It's fine, we told him to bring you guys over…"
I looked at the other Urban Spirits, they were quite more than I imagined, around ten counting Julio and the Wendigo.
Not all of them looked like cute little boys though there was one that was a very tall, three-ter-tall woman to be exact, wearing a white dress covered with blood.
She was smiling creepily at with a blank black colored mouth that split all her head up into two halves…
She had no eyes either and wore a white sumr hat over her head hiding her face beneath its shadow.
There was also a green colored goblin-like spirit holding a sharp knife and carrying a bag filled with… sothing, that moved.
I also noticed a woman with scissors for hands, an old, count-looking man from dieval ages without a head, carrying it with his hands and looking around curiously.
Among them, they were mostly all creepy except the goblin and a beautiful golden colored bird, whose feathers resembled tallic gold, and which were shaped like thunder.
Wait, don't tell that's a Thunder Bird?!
Though, it wasn't as big as the ones I've read about, as it was rather small, around the size of a waterlon, and looked like a chick.
"As you can see, we are a rather large assortnt of Spirits… We didn't want to cause any inconvenience, and we were only living nearby while sustaining our existences with your Spiritual Energy," explained the Wendigo. "We really apologize for any inconvenience again, and we plan to leave imdiately if our presence doesn't please you, goddess."
"Hah, first of all, stop calling goddess, my na is Elayne," I said. "Second, you're all Spirits, so I don't really mind you being around, even though so of you have… Um, rather peculiar appearances you're all valuable allies and friends for all of us, so there's little point in telling you to not be here or sothing."
"Friends and allies? Truly?" wondered Wendigo.
"Does the goddess consider us friends and allies?!"
"Oh wow!"
"I'm so happyyyyy!"
"Hehehe!"
"Yipeeeee!"
"I consider all spirits as friends, yes," I nodded with a smile. "Despite our differences we are all brothers and sisters. And I think it's necessary to unify as a group. If you guys swear to have good manners, and not cause trouble, you can live inside my Domain."
"R-Really?!" The Wendigo was shocked. "But…"
This feels like taking refugees, which it is, but my Domain is so big that I don't really mind them. And if they're fully powered up, they could be rather strong and defend the Domain too, so they could be useful.
"It's fine," I said. "My Domain expands every day, and it needs more residents! Also people that can protect it. If you swear that you'll protect the Domain, you can live here and enjoy every luxury and facility."
"Oooohh!"
"That sounds great!"
"A good idea indeed!"
"But wait, can we do it?"
The Wendigo was a bit worried.
"We are not as strong as we used to be unfortunately," he explained. "But we could regain our power over ti… Is it really okay? we are quite weak right now, Lady Elayne."
"It's fine!" I said. "Make sure to rest and recover then!"
"Truly?! Thank you so much Lady Elayne!" The Wendigo celebrated, as the rest of his creepy band all raised their arms or claws or scissors and looked happy.
"Will this be alright?" Mark wondered. "More spirits also an more responsibilities, right?"
"Maybe, or maybe not, but we won't really know until sothing happens, for now they only feed on the spirit energy, so they're mostly harmless," I shrugged.
"Hm, I guess more protection is never wrong," he nodded.
"Oh right, also what about those warlocks chasing you around?" I asked, rembering sothing.
"The warlocks! So Julio told you about why we're here then, Lady Elayne," the Wendigo said. "Well yes, there's a group of dangerous warlocks and cursed magicians hunting Urban Spirits to absorb our power… When one of us have our entire being absorbed, we die forever! There isn't even heaven or hell for us…"
"We've already lost quite a few of our friends," said Julio. "Our group was ford specifically to survive! And at the beginning, there were more of us, but one after another, they were taken down. We've been running constantly from them, away from our original hos where our Urban Stories were born, so it's quite sad…"
"I see, do you know how they look, their nas, their everything?" I asked. "Anything would be useful, please don't hesitate to tell ."
