"Hmm! This is a feast! And with the wine and all of that, it’s even nicer! Cheers!"
Rita happily drank her cup of wine while eating the food, she was already in her fourth steak, and she had already eaten two burgers and a bowl of rice with at stew.
"Oh wow! I didn’t expect this type of flavor! The hell?! This is better than any at I’ve eaten before!"
Jenny was amazed by the strong, refined taste of the at, and also of the preparations used to cook it into many forms and shapes. Her favorite so far were the steaks and the at stew.
"I-It’s really good! Especially this stew and the rice, they go together so nicely, this rice... these colorful seeds I an, what are they? They’re delicious."
Lily ate while happily chatting.
"Ah, those are spirit seeds!" Elayne said. "Rember the seeds I create with my terrain? Well, Gordon had cooked them once and he let taste them, and we realized they could be an amazing food as well, I can make them easily as well, so it’s a nicely available resource."
"Ooh! That’s so interesting! But aren’t spirits born from them? I-Is it not like eating their eggs?" Lily wondered, worried.
"Not at all, spirits aren’t inside the seeds, they erge once the seed fully mature into a spirit flower or sothing similar," gardenia explained. "But yeah, it does have a lot of nutrients and spirit energy concentrated there, enough to create a spirit, but if you cook the seeds and eat them, you get all of those nutrients and energy, it’s a highly nutritional food! I can’t believe I never thought about that."
"Well, I’m sure not everyone can just create these seeds as easily as Elayne can..." Mark laughed a bit. "She’s the one that made it even a thing to consider. I suppose if they’re truly rare, people would rather keep them than eating them."
"Ah well, you praise too much, it’s nothing that important anyway," Elayne giggled with humbleness. "Anyway, how is it, Gabriel? Katherine?"
"This is the first ti I eat at from a dream beast..." Katherine muttered. "I-It’s really good! I don’t know why... We usually dislike at. Even the at of spirit beasts isn’t that good, but sohow this one is really... it just hits different. Maybe the concentration of spiritual energies and dream power is much higher and it just more delicious. I especially like the wolves’ at! It’s really good! And these boiled spirit seeds are fantastic."
The little fairy was already finishing her bowl of stew and rice, and was midway through the burger she was given, she was also enjoying the sweet cola-flavored soda.
"It’s good! I want more!" Gabriel said. "Can I have more burger?"
"Of course!" Elayne nodded, quickly serving the boy. "There you go."
"Thanks! Nam, nam!" Gabriel happily ate the burger, Elayne noticed his wings looked fluffier and longer now, they looked healthier and much more recovered than before.
Over ti, the boy was slowly regaining his true strength, although his age didn’t seem to advance at all, as he was stuck looking the sa she found him for the first ti.
She had heard he was already one of the oldest Angels, and soone very powerful too, she assud he would be an adult, but it seed that the damage he received ended up weakening him to the point even though his own body de-aged, and so did his mind, with lost mories to add to the mix.
Their al continued for over an hour, where they chatted, ate, and enjoyed the ti they had together, while deciding to relax and kick back.
Once the night arrived, sothing that seed to be an actual phenonon of this forest, where the atmosphere turned dark and stars could be seen, alongside a silver-colored moon, everyone began to think of either staying the night or just walking to the tree.
The tree wasn’t that far from them now, and it was glowing mysteriously when it was dark, each of its white flowers and leaves shone so brightly they resembled silver, glistening below the moonlight.
"What’s wrong with the tree over there? It’s shining really bright..." Elena said. "Also is this really a night? I thought this Realm had no such concepts..."
"As I said before, I believe this forest must be connected with the Realm of Avalon, so while it is night over there, it’s now night in here as well..." Katherine smiled, glancing around with a nostalgic smile. "Isn’t it beautiful though? The stars, the silver moon, and... the forest and the trees?"
Everyone glanced from the shores of the spring, where Elayne had already created a series of cabins using her wood manipulation abilities, they were cozy inside, with beds she had purchased previously, and also beautiful wooden tables, chairs, and more.
They had a few small windows, which glass was made by Lily’s abilities to control sand and crystalize it into glass. They were also illuminated using Spirit Lamps, made by placing several light spirits inside transparent flower buds.
"It is quite beautiful yes..." Elayne nodded. "I guess I wouldn’t mind staying in here for the night. And what do you guys think?"
"I guess we could," Mark nodded. "It’s nice, and kind of peaceful, the dream beasts are strong but not as annoying as Nightmareborns that never stop spawning. They’re at the end more like just the normal monster or beasts we’re used to deal with in BNLO."
"Yeah, let’s stay," nodded Anna. "It’s not like sothing we’ll ever experience again, right Elena?"
"I agree..." Elena nodded, kissing Anna’s cheek as she held her hand. "I want to cuddle with Anna while we look at the moon too..."
"E-Eh?" Anna blushed a little as Elena looked at her with enamored eyes. "E-Elena...!"
"What’s wrong? We’re girlfriends now, right? That’s... what girlfriends do, right?" Elena asked, tilting her head. Her expressionless face changed a little, as she blushed cutely.
"I-I guess... Eheheh..." Anna giggled weirdly, overwheld with embarrassnt.
Elayne nodded while looking at her daughter and her cute girlfriend, she already knew Anna’s worth and valued her greatly, so she only found it cute when they interacted this way.
