As his barrier shattered once more, he fell from the skies as Mark appeared above him, swinging his two blazing swords at once, as an explosion of crimson spirit flas erupted, imbued with the holy power of the totems he had summoned upon his body.
"{Holy Eagle Totem Spirit}! {Sunlight Lion Totem Spirit}! {Starlight Bat Totem Spirit}!"
There were as many totem spirits as there were animals, and their variations of elents were also very vast. However, unlike normal spirits, they needed a proper totem embedded with their shape and power, and also a special contract where he offered sothing in exchange.
Using his Soul-Bound Skills though, he can skip those steps and unleash their power right away through his transformation abilities, turning into a giant made of blazing wood fused mainly with the Phoenix Totem and the Dragon Totems.
However, by calling these three other Totems, he was able to rapidly imbue another elent into his deadly flas, holy light, which sumd with flas created a deadly combination against the Myconid.
"AAAGGGH! DON’T GET CLOSE TO !"
The Myconid scread as his staff glowed with demonic dark red light, suddenly thousands of runes appeared around him, rising from the ground large spheres of flesh and corpses, and so living Earth Eaters, and morphing them into giant, living monstrosities.
"{Demonic Chira Spawn Creation: Laughing Flesh Orbs Of Malice}!"
"GAHAHAHA!"
"HAHAHA!"
"HEHEHEHEHEH!"
The things were summoned, monstrous demonic spawns that mutated into floating spheres of flesh with countless humanoid faces made of this rotten, dead at and laughing maniacally, rushing towards Mark and attacking him by tackling him with their disgusting bodies, their blood and flesh covered by acid, burning his wooden body.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
Mark rapidly intercepted the monstrous creatures, using his swords and his magic to unleash a bombardnt of slashing attacks and explosive teors made of burning wood from his own body, alongside falling, slicing, and exploding phoenix spirit feathers.
At the sa ti, Rita was right by his side, using her gun to blast through them and reach the Myconid, ultimately jumping away to take down more abominations, as Whitey reached the Myconid alone.
"KYUUUUHH!"
"A-A damn rat?! You think you can possibly go against ?!"
The Myconid roared angrily, his staff glowing with black and red demonic light, as he unleashed a gigantic demonic cannon against Whitey.
BOOOMMM!!!
I looked back alongside everyone, panicking. For a mont, we all thought of the worst, but then, amidst the smoke, he appeared, little Whitey wasn’t wounded at all, encompassed by Holy Light and Divine Power, a barrier of light protecting him.
Yeah, his evolution had made him the ultimate Demon-type counter!
"KYUUH! KYUUHH!"
He roared, as his Aura erupted from his body, a pair of feathered wings made of light appeared behind the adorable rat, as he charged towards the Myconid Undead, clashing against his barrier and grinding through it with his sharp incisor teeth, as if he were chewing through wood.
CRUNCH! CRUNCH! CRUNCH!
Crack, crack...!
CRAAASH!
"W-What?! Impossible!"
The Myconid scread, Whitey jumped over him, biting through his head and neck, tearing it apart and then biting even further, devouring him whole with the viciousness of an hungry rat that would just about eat anything.
"A-A RE RAT...?! AAAACK!"
As he scread in agony, he fell to the floor with Whitey, half his body already eaten, but his staff glowed, its powers suddenly flowing towards his own body.
As I swung my scythes and Irene and tore through the spawns, I quickly realized what was going on!
"Whitey, get out of the way or you’ll get absorbed!"
"KYUH?!"
Whitey saw hundreds of mushroom tendrils rushing towards him, which he quickly burned with his light before leaping away from danger, the staff generated pulses of demonic energy, as they started possessing the dying Myconid Undead, letting him absorb the nearby vegetation of my own domain?!
Wait, what?! That’s not fair!
TRUUUM!
A shockwave of demonic energy surged from the ground, shaking the entire cave before the Myconid Undead surged once more, anew, his body growing larger and larger as he ate the vegetation, using his staff’s powers to turn himself into a hellish spawn and absorbing the vegetation and spirit plants of my own domain as his body.
"HAHAHAHA! YES! SO MUCH POWER! SO MUCH STRENGTH! ALL OF THIS SPIRIT POWER! IT’S NOW MINE!"
Has this happened before? An enemy using my own abilities against ... I should be more careful when I set up my Domain. they usually just try to burn it, but using it is a bit of a stretch! But perhaps this is how they’re adapting to now, that demonic weapon definitely knows what its doing, whatever demon is inside, its smart.
His body reached up to thirteen ters, made of corrupted trees, grass, flowers, vines, and spirit plants, turned into demonic and spectral forms, filled with eyes and tentacles made of slimy vines, his head was made of what remained of his body, fused with spirit demonic crystals, with the staff at the chest, embedded with fleshy tendrils and veins fusing everything together.
"RAAAAAHHHH!!!"
With a furious roar, a gigantic shockwave of demonic energy and corrupted spiritual power was unleashed, shaking the ground and the ceiling, the demonic spawns suddenly started growing stronger, their auras becoming more sinister.
"Are you kidding ?! This got out of proportion now!" Rita complained, pointing her gun at him and transforming it, with Whitey by her side, the dark shadow dragon cannon turned into a holy dragon cannon, her gun turning into a white and gold dragon head-shaped cannon, overflowing with light.
"Eat shit!"
TRUUUM!
The beam reached the Demonic Myconid Undead, blasting through his left shoulder and decimating a good part of his body.
BOOOM!
However, his body rapidly regenerated back, wood, plants, and flesh combining into many more arms, as the monster charged towards us.
