A series of remarkable events unfolded once Elayne entered the village with Yaga leading the way. Not only did they find soone willing to buy their products, but the buyer offered an incredible deal. He even signed a contract for a yearly supply of crops at a generous price, all to feed White Tooth City, which was suffering severe food shortages.

The food harvested by the White Ghost Race had dwindled. The ghost stone trees in the northeast had grown smaller and weaker. The Nether flowing underground through the Nether Veins had shifted and dried up. So speculated the Demon King of Death was using a formation to drain the land’s power for himself, causing widespread problems.

Until they could resolve the issue, they desperately bought supplies from anywhere possible to stockpile food for the coming years. Elayne appeared like a divine miracle to these people. Blank and his father Silvester were willing to do anything for more food, so they agreed to the generous deal without hesitation.

Elayne had considered cultivating the surrounding area with her Netherworld Farming Arts. It would restore energy to the soil and allow her to plant crops everywhere. However, Yaga opposed the idea. With her current power, it would take too long, and it would draw unwanted attention from enemies hunting her.

If foes spotted a town flourishing with what Elayne could create, they might destroy it entirely, assuming she was there. Worse, the grateful people might stop paying, viewing her work as a divine blessing and simply worshipping her. That could invite destruction upon them. Reluctantly, Elayne agreed to hold back.

It was difficult for her, accustod to acting freely, but she now thought carefully about consequences. She felt pleased that everything had turned out better than expected.

Once they reached the manor, the young White Ghost, Blank, welcod them warmly. "Welco to our mansion. It’s spacious and full of anities. There’s an Alchemy Room, our own Blacksmith, and an area where you can choose a ridable Nether, Bone, or Ghost Beast, among other things," he said, proudly showing off his wealth.

Elayne and her friends gazed around in awe. The mansion was pristine white and gleaming, spotlessly clean inside with elegant paintings and decorations. Pitch-black flowers with eyes and bony plants adorned the interior. Haunted statues served as silent servants for the family. They made no noise, perfect for White Ghosts who valued quiet.

"Your mansion is... truly wonderful. Thank you..." Elayne smiled, slightly overwheld by the profound silence. "Ah, I think I’m forgetting sothing important..."

She had been so distracted that she nearly overlooked a key matter. Her mory wasn’t perfect as an Undead, but after a mont, it ca back. "Ah! Right! Excuse , Lord Blank. Do you know where I can find a Class Changing Stone?" she asked.

"Hm?" Blank looked intrigued. "A Class Changing Stone? So you wish to change your Class—a rare thing among Undead. We usually have fixed Classes. It’s quite unique for an Undead to evolve freely. I’m certain there’s one in the White Mist Ghost Mother Monastery."

"White Mist Ghost Mother...?" Elayne asked. "I’m sorry, I’m not very familiar with... the culture."

"Ah, that’s perfectly fine," he said with a nod. "The White Mist Ghost Mother is widely revered as the Great Venerable of the White Ghost Race, an Ancient Goddess who rose among us eons ago during the Age of Void. That was when the Gods fell and the connection between the Living World and the Netherworld was permanently severed. It was a chaotic era of rising and falling legends. Among them erged the Great Venerables—Gods born from the people. Each Noble Race has its own Venerable God. This is why we remain strong even now, amidst so many other races and creatures in the Netherworld."

"G-Gods?!" Elayne gasped. "There are actual Gods?!"

"Yes, well, that’s only natural..." Blank replied, looking surprised. "Oh my, I suppose Lady Yaga hasn’t taught her Undead much about our history, has she?"

"Well, it hardly matters," Yaga sighed. "Those beings are far beyond our reach. I’m fairly sure none are even in this Region."

"Hm... The last anyone heard of the White Mist Ghost Mother was a massive white ghostly mist, the size of an entire region, moving toward the Colorless Void Realm," Blank said. "But we, so far below their grand power, are re mortals who only hear rumors."

"Huh..." Elayne nodded, rubbing her chin. "It’s amazing to think such beings exist here... But why the Colorless Void Realm?"

"I’m no one to speak for the great mother of our race," Blank replied. "But if I dared speculate... it’s said so Great Gods seek the Cosmic Sea beyond the Colorless Void Realm."

"Cosmic Sea..." Elayne murmured.

"Through it, they might enter the World of the Living again, escaping death’s grasp," Blank explained. "And ultimately, most likely, attempting to claim the Living World for themselves..."

"Ooh..." Elayne nodded. "That’s quite sothing... Is it even possible to reach the Cosmic Sea?"

"I don’t know," Blank shook his head. "It’s so far beyond that I can only speculate."

"Well, I believe that’s enough for now," Mark interjected. "Should we visit the monastery later?"

"Sure," Elayne agreed.

"For now, let show you to your rooms," Blank said. "Co, follow ."

The handso White Ghost led them to their assigned rooms. So Undead preferred to share, while others wanted privacy—or to stay with a special soone, like Elayne with Mark.

Their room was spacious, filled with luxurious furniture and clothing.

"I hope you’ll change your attire. Wearing those rags and rusty armor isn’t suitable. If you’re staying on my property, please dress appropriately," Blank said. Elayne and Mark felt embarrassed and nodded.

"We’re very sorry for not looking proper," Elayne said. "I-I thought my dress was fine? My friends made it..."

"Well, I don’t wish to offend, but it looks worn," Blank replied. "Please choose from our selection. They’re crafted from Nether Beast fur—sturdy and designed to fit Undead bodies perfectly."

"Thank you..." Elayne nodded.

"And for ..." Mark muttered. "Well, I’m a blazing skeleton, so..."

"They’re fireproof. Wear them without worry," Blank assured him. "Now, if you’ll excuse , I must return to work. Feel free to rest here or explore the town until we return. Take care."
