Mark’s hazy, blazing eyes stared at the system notifications appearing before him.

[Congratulations! You have unlocked the Job Class: [Blazing Soul Death Knight – Tier 1]]

[Your Level Cap has increased to Level 100.]

[All of your Stats have increased by 5,000.]

[You have acquired the Class Skill: [Soul of Eternal Flas – Tier 1: Level 1/10]: Direct contact with your soul will burn the target unless you wish otherwise, dealing large damage to Undead-type foes in particular. Your Soul Flas now possess purifying and holy effects, allowing greater power and manipulation. Your Soul Flas recharge by burning Nether, Ghostly Energies, and other compatible materials or food. With practice, the Soul Flas can solidify into Soul Fla Weapons or separate into smaller Soul Fla Spirits.]

"Ohh..." Mark, usually so serious these days, couldn’t help reverting to his old self for a mont. His inner gar—buried but never dead despite everything he had endured—blazed with excitent, mirroring his soul. "This Skill is incredible, isn’t it? And it’s all one Skill? It almost feels like a fused Skill Fusion with how powerful it is."

"Wow, I saw it," Elayne said, eyes shining. "That’s amazing, Mark! I’m so happy for you! With that Skill, you’ll be able to help everyone even more."

"Yes, it feels like my soul itself evolved after taking this Class," he said. "It’s... honestly incredible..."

Elayne and Mark agreed that changing Classes and boosting Stats through the System in their actual bodies—not avatars—felt far more personal and intimate. They couldn’t quite explain it, but the sensation was profound and fascinating.

Blank watched closely, eyes widening as he sensed their auras surge and transform. It was as if they had beco entirely different people without even evolving yet.

"How amusing..." he thought, rubbing his chin. "Undead who don’t devour souls, who don’t develop Nether Cores, and who... try to do good? And this power... as if the System rewarded them for walking such an unorthodox path. I wonder what else they hide? I never imagined Undead could intrigue this much. This world truly is vast and full of surprises."

Sailor noticed Blank’s gaze—full of interest and subtle greed—and glared back in annoyance. He bumped the noble’s arm roughly before stepping forward. "Are you two done? Can I try touching that thing now?"

Elayne blinked in surprise. "Oh? Do you need to change Classes too, Sailor? I had no idea."

Sailor shook his head. "I’ve never gotten any ssage like that, but I still want to try... I might not be as talented as you two, but if the System is truly kind to weaklings like ..."

He touched the crystal. A surge of azure energy rushed into his body. Sailor’s dead eyes suddenly glowed bright blue, and his aura briefly resembled raging oceans.

"...!"

He stared at his hand in astonishnt. He had been granted a Class too. Though he had received no prompt, he had reached the Level 10 cap long ago. Refusing to consu souls, he had cultivated Spirit Energy and developed his Nature Soul instead.

Unlike Elayne and Mark, whose Cultivation was advanced, he lingered in the early middle stages of Tier 1—far from the next rank. Yet even that seed sufficient.

"What’s this?" he murmured, eyes wide. "When I was alive, I was a Buccaneer—that was my Class. Around Level 27, sailing the seas with my crew... To think so of that power would return, but different now. There’s... Magic in it, and the Water Elent."

The Buccaneer Class had specialized in sea combat, granting bonuses aboard ships on the oceans. Sailor excelled in fist fighting, his punches famous for shattering the jaws of Giant Great White Sharks. He had possessed zero magical affinity.

But now everything had changed.

[Congratulations! You have unlocked the Job Class: [Ghostly Mariner – Tier 1]]

[Your Level Cap has increased to Level 100.]

[All of your Stats have increased by 2,500.]

[You have acquired the Class Skill: [Raging Ocean Fist Style – Tier 1: Level 1/10]: A fusion of Magic and Martial Arts learned by Buccaneers on the seas. Combine Water Magic with Ghostly Energy and Nether Essence to unleash devastating wide-area attacks with your fists. Offers various forms that expand as the user discovers new ways to wield their Ghostly Mariner Aura and Raging Sea Spirit. Available Attacks: [Raging Anchor] [Shark’s Fangs] [Kraken’s Fury]]

"Hoh, that ain’t bad at all!" Sailor laughed heartily. "Maybe if I keep this up, I can punch fools like I used to—without caring about their status or rank."

"You’ve grown much stronger, Sailor," Elayne said warmly. "Hmm... maybe we should bring everyone here to get Classes and grow too. What do you think?"

"Great idea, boss," Sailor agreed. "Norman and Shade definitely need a boost. Not sure about that bat Lisette or old granny Yaga, but they could try later."

"Sounds perfect!" Elayne smiled. "All right, now that we’re done here, where to next?"

As Elayne pondered, Blank stepped forward to congratulate them on their impressive growth. All three had gained powerful Classes and Skills.

"I apologize for underestimating you, Sailor," he said sincerely. "I can sense you’re as remarkable as Elayne and Mark."

"Hah! Getting respectful now that you see my power?" Sailor shot back with a scornful glare. "Listen, pal—I’ll never be your buddy. I spit on nobles like you. I’d sooner feed myself to sharks than shake your hand. Got it?"

"Sailor!" Elayne smacked the back of his head, sending him sprawling.

"Ouch..." Sailor groaned, rubbing his skull. "So... sorry..." he muttered to her, though not to Blank.

"Sorry about him," Mark said. "He’s... a special case. Truth be told, I’m not fond of you either."

"Haaa..." Blank offered a bitter smile. "That’s perfectly fine. We’ve only just t, after all. Trust grows from shared experiences. We’ll get there soday, perhaps. For now, since we’re finished here, I suggest we purchase the products you wanted, Elayne, before returning to my mansion. I just received a Ghostly Voice ssage from my father—my younger sister is coming ho today. I’d like you to et her properly."

"You have a younger sister?" Elayne asked curiously. "Wow... What about your mother? Any other siblings?"

The group slowly left the Monastery after claiming their Classes and Skills. Elayne paused to offer a couple of Nether Stones to the small skeleton begging for donations outside.

"There you go, dear. Take care," she said kindly, caressing his skull. It appeared to be the skeleton of a child.

"Geez, thanks, ma’am!" the skeleton crackled happily.

As she walked away, Elayne realized she had shown such affection for a Blue Ghostly Goblin Skeleton instead.

"I had no idea Noble Races could beco Undead..." Elayne murmured. "I thought they couldn’t?"

"Hah," Blank smiled faintly. "It’s possible, just rare. So races, like White Ghosts, leave no corpse upon death—our bodies vanish with our souls. In the extrely rare case we beco Undead, we transform into powerful Ghost Beasts or Specters. But because it’s so uncommon, little is known."

"I see..." Elayne nodded. "And other races?"

"The Blue Ghostly Goblin is the weakest race," Blank explained. "When they die, they leave full corpses—bones, flesh, everything. Their flesh isn’t cursed with demonic energy like Rakshasas or Jiangshi, and their bones lack draconic power like Nether Dragons. Thus, they’re the most commonly seen as Undead."

"And I mistook him for a once-living child..." Elayne sighed. "I feel embarrassed now..."

"Hm, well, he still appreciated your kindness and sincerity," Blank said. "It’s rare to find soone as honest and good-hearted as you in these tis. People, I can tell, are drawn to your virtues."

"A-Ah, thank you..." Elayne blushed slightly at his words, though her mind wandered to other thoughts.
