"Harvest of Duality Twilight Bloom!"

FLAAASH!

"Ngh?!"

Atrokus gasped as the hand he had used to punch Elayne suddenly glowed. An itching, searing pain erupted through the interiors of hundreds, thousands, and tens of thousands of bones that ford his body. Black and yellow mold spread rapidly across every surface.

"What sort of... AGH!"

And that was only the beginning. As she fused Harvest of Duality with Twilight Bloom, the spores ignited and detonated, ripping his entire arm apart piece by piece. Twilight Flas erupted across his form, scorching his Death Essence and siphoning it straight into Elayne.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

"A-AAHHH! AAAAAHHHHH!"

Atrokus was utterly caught off guard, writhing in tornt as he burned. He dropped to his knees, clutching his skull in unbearable agony. The Twilight Circle of Druids specialized in eradicating the undead, and these Twilight Flas—unleashed by the exploding Twilight Bloom—were lethally effective against them.

Even a peak Tier 5 undead would suffer excruciating pain and relentless damage over ti, especially with the mold’s ability to propagate like a virulent plague.

"Y-YOUUUUUUU! HOW DARE YOUUUUUU!"

Atrokus scread through the flas, charging at Elayne and smashing the ground beneath him. He lashed out with a brutal kick as she faltered for a split second. Despite the overwhelming pain and agony tearing through him, his speed and raw power remained terrifying.

CRASH!

Elayne slamd into another wall, shattering it completely. Her body tore in two, guts splattering outward... revealing that she was now filled with tree sap, roots, mushrooms, moss, and mold instead of ordinary organs.

"Elayne!"

"I-I’m fine! I’ve got plenty of Death Essence!"

Elayne forced her severed halves to reconnect and rose just as Atrokus closed in. His foot ca crashing down exactly where she had stood a second earlier, carving a massive crater. At the sa mont, his bone turrets kept unleashing soul-annihilating beams toward her.

Atrokus’ body continued to burn, but the Twilight Flas gradually weakened. He was beginning to suppress them through sheer volus of Nether and Ghostly Power... surprising Elayne.

But she was far from defeated.

After all, she had already laid the groundwork she needed.

As she darted across the battlefield, each step extended her domain further. Beneath the surface, a colossal colony of mycelia interconnected, forming a gigantic, pulsating lifeform brimming with power.

Elayne channeled her Netherworld Farming Arts to spread a vast Territory around her. Unlike in the world of the living, here the nether and miasma did not destroy her terrain—they strengthened it, making it nearly impossible for Atrokus to eradicate the plants sprouting everywhere.

"CO BACK!"

Atrokus roared, summoning his power and manifesting his Soul Treasures. Giant spears of spinning bone hurtled downward, piercing the ground where Elayne had been monts before and detonating in waves of devastation across the entire field.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

"You can’t keep running forever!"

Atrokus swung his massive claws, unleashing shockwaves of phantasmal energy. Elayne countered with Asteria and her sword’s Starlight, blending her Life Essence and Spiritual Energy into her most powerful swordsmanship techniques to defend and strike back.

"Heroic Legendary Sword Arts – Divine Sword Slash! Heroic Parry! Exorcizing Holy Blade!"

She combined all three techniques in a seamless sequence: parrying the phantasmal energies first, then slashing them apart, and finally infusing the redirected force with holy energy. A towering pillar of cutting light erupted, severing Atrokus’ left shoulder and completely tearing off his gigantic arm.

SLAAASH!

"GAAAAAAHHHHH!"

Atrokus howled in tornt, not rely from physical pain, but because the strike had sliced into his very soul. Elayne seized the opening. Twilight Bloom erupted across the wound, triggering more explosive Twilight Fla bursts that distracted the towering skeleton titan.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Using the chaos, Elayne reached the still-burning severed arm—a piece of Atrokus that contained a fragnt of his soul—and pressed her hand against it, flooding it with spores.

"Mycelial Dominion!"

Her other Sporeborns had perished in the mayhem, but their spore colonies endured. They surged underground and converged on the giant severed arm that held part of his essence.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!"

Atrokus reached her in an instant. He seized Elayne as she poured her power into the arm, lifted her high, and squeezed. His enormous fingers crushed her torso instantly. Blood sprayed from her mouth and eyes.

"Aaaaaagh!"

As she scread, her soul trembling and writhing in excruciating pain, Atrokus laughed viciously, glaring at her with furious satisfaction.

"Now that I have you, you cannot escape. Wondering about your friends, perhaps?"

"Eh?"

Elayne’s eyes trembled with dread. For so reason, her companions had taken far too long to return, Class Changing should have taken only seconds.

"W-What did you do to them?!"

"Heh, nothing bad... yet."

Atrokus glanced into the distance. Her friends were trapped inside a colossal cage of bones wreathed in ghostly flas.

"Everyone!"

"Nnngghaa!"

"Uuuggh!"

"E-Elayne...! I’m... sorry...!"

They were all suffering. The ghostly flas slowly roasted their souls to the "perfect state" for consumption. Atrokus preferred to prepare his als before devouring them.

"Kuku, whatever Classes they gained must have been trash compared to yours if they fell so easily!" Atrokus laughed. "Then again, the only one with any real strength was a fool who kept burning his own soul as fuel. He nearly exhausted it completely, he could have killed himself in the fight! Hahahahaha!"

"M-Mark..." Elayne whispered, despair flooding her eyes as she saw him collapsed on the ground, struggling to keep his flas alive. They flickered weakly, dimming with every passing second.

"Now, where was my arm...?" Atrokus mused. He sealed Elayne’s body completely with his power, rendering her helpless. "Ah, there..."

Using his consciousness, he lifted the severed arm, scorched it with nether flas just to be safe, then reattached it to his body. "Kukuku, whatever pathetic plan you had has failed. I burned away every trace of your filth. It’s over, you damned traitor. You and your little band will sustain for days. And now... I’ll eat you raw instead of cooking you. I crave your power above all else...!"

"Ahh...!" Elayne’s eyes widened in horror as Atrokus opened his maw, revealing an endless abyss of lting souls and writhing, screaming ghosts in eternal tornt, beckoning her closer. "N-No...! Stop...! Nooooo!"

As Elayne scread and plumted toward the stomach, Atrokus swallowed her whole. Inside, her body and soul began to dissolve rapidly—everything digested in the churning darkness.

"Hmm, yes...!" Atrokus laughed triumphantly. "YES! THIS POWER...! KUAHAHAHAHAH!"
