Elena walked silently into the rows where the students stood with her friends, watching as the new professors arrived. So wore kimonos, others militaristic uniforms, yukatas, or even ordinary clothes.

There were many of them, all shapes and sizes: an old kappa, a young woman with long blue hair and yuki-onna bloodline, and more.

Among them, the director stepped forward—a tall, slender man with short silvery-white hair and gentle blue eyes.

"Yo! How’s everyone doing? I know you’re all nervous, but please relax! It’ll be just fine! Waaah, I’m so excited! And kind of nervous too, haha!"

To the shock of everyone present, he was nothing like the strict, disciplined figure they had expected. Instead, he seed to take everything far too casually.

"Hahaha, what’s with those faces? It’s fine, daijobu daijobu, my beloved students!" he said with a bright chuckle. He wore a white shirt, black pants, and a black leather jacket. He looked no older than his mid-twenties.

"Hahaha, I know I’m quite the looker, but you don’t have to get so shocked about it~! Na’s Akatsuki Satoru! Your new director, and I’ll also be teaching you directly from ti to ti! I’m really looking forward to this new generation of sorcerers! Lots of bad things are happening everywhere—invaders from another world, yokai going crazy, hollows growing larger and mutating, dozens of evil organizations ready to butcher all of humanity, blah blah blah. But that’s exactly why you’re all here: to grow strong enough to beco Japan’s shield...and well, maybe protect the rest of the world too, eh? Wink, wink." He winked at the transfer students with a warm yet playful smile.

Elena and her friends, along with Matsuo’s group, stood speechless. The director was nothing like the serious, ultra-disciplined authority they had imagined, he simply didn’t take things too seriously.

"Anyway," he suddenly slipped a black blindfold over his blue eyes for so reason. "We’ll start calling everyone to receive your Student IDs! When you’re called, please show the dummy your technique, spell, ability—whatever. Just prove you’re competent, that’s all. Alright, let’s begin! Frank!"

The first called was none other than Frank, the mysterious young man who was apparently Matsuo’s best friend. He stepped forward nonchalantly and greeted the director.

"Director..."

"Ahah, don’t bow, it’s fine, it’s fine~ Go on, boy, show ’em what you got."

"I will."

Frank focused in front of a wooden doll. The motionless puppet suddenly flared with cursed energy, stood up, and rushed toward him as if possessed.

The boy pointed his hand forward. An invisible force surged from within, sparkling like stars, and unleashed a massive sphere of elent-less mana.

BOOOM!

The sphere devoured the fighting puppet entirely, reducing it to scattered fragnts of wood on the floor. Many students stared in stunned silence.

Frank glanced back at the director.

"Do I pass?"

"Wooow! What was that?! Amazing! You pass, Frank! Give the boy his ID."

One after another, students demonstrated their abilities. The more damage they inflicted on the puppet, the higher their reward in the ID card’s point system.

Eventually, Matsuo’s turn arrived. The young man stepped forward and extended his hand. He had belonged to the clan for a long ti, but this was his first formal enrollnt as a student in the new academy.

With his hand outstretched, he perford a series of hand signs.

"Shine like the stars, burn like the sun, explode like fire."

FLUOSH!

A radiant sphere of sunlight materialized, struck the cursed doll, and disintegrated it in a blinding explosion.

BOOOM!

The director clapped in genuine awe, quickly raising a powerful barrier around Matsuo to contain the destruction.

"Wow! Nice shot! Without a doubt the prodigy of the Amaterasu Clan, Matsuo!" he laughed. "Now, now, calm down everyone, there are still a few more to go... like our new transfer students."

He glanced toward both Elena’s group and another group that had arrived just recently. Elena studied them curiously—they were all Western, just like her and her friends.

It was a group of four girls, each radiating mysterious auras that reminded Elena of her mother...and strangely, of her weapon, Morpheus.

One was a pink-haired, slightly chubby girl with a cute accent. Rumors among the students said she ca from Sweden or sowhere nearby. She had beautiful blue eyes and a kind deanor.

The second was a tall, tomboyish girl with clear brown skin and short blonde hair. She looked like the sporty type, with bright blue eyes that t everyone with bold confidence.

The third had long silver hair reaching her hips, a beautiful yet stoic and arrogant expression, and gleaming silver eyes. She was small and thin-looking but carried an unmistakable hidden power.

And finally, the one who clearly led them—a girl with red eyes and long white hair, taller than the rest, with a slender, more mature fra and a calm smile.

When Elena looked at her, the girl t her gaze and returned a light, knowing smile before her group was called.

The director addressed them first.

"Ah, you must be the transfer students from the Dream Warrior Academy. Welco, welco!" he said. "Although not many know about your vocation out there, you’re among the people who maintain the peace of the world."

He clearly held them in high regard.

The pink-haired girl, Alma Anderberg, wielded power over water. She summoned a magic staff that unleashed a spiraling torrent of azure ocean water.

The blonde tomboy, Emily Tompson, summoned gold-and-black armor studded with sharp spikes. As she punched forward, thunderous explosions erupted from her strikes.

The arrogant-looking young lady, Sofia Mikhailov, called forth a bizarre tallic puppet—or automata, as the director nad it—equipped with six angelic wings and a halo. Its power was imnse.

And finally, the apparent leader, Maria Belle, summoned a giant sword of dark, ghostly bones and an axe forged from black cursed steel. With these weapons, she crushed the puppet in a single devastating strike.

They were prodigies among prodigies. The students watched in awe, so even clapping as the girls unleashed their abilities. Most assud they were all Summoners, but their power clearly ran far deeper.

"So of you may not know, but there’s a branch of sorcery called Dream Weaving," the director explained. "These students co from the Dream Heart Academy, which trains Dream Warriors. Dreams are an elusive thing, yet they are a true elent of magic! These students have co here to learn more conventional thods and enrich their growth. Dream Warriors harness Dream Power in their hearts, forging Dream Hearts. From those Dream Hearts, they can summon powerful Dream Weapons, Spirits, and more. Amazing, right? It’s like a clash of different worlds here! It’s getting so exciting!"
