It was morning. Mira’s eyes opened to the reflection of sun rays directly in her face. She used her hand as a shield, blocking the rays from directly burning into her eyes as she peered the environnt.
She did not know when she got here. The last thing she rembered was staying by the spring when Jia Hao dozed off on her. He felt safe enough to fall asleep. That was nice for a change.
What was not nice was seeing the tir counting her days right in front of her face. Three days. She had exactly three and a half days to gain the Lion King’s trust and have his baby. This entire thing was giving her a migraine.
First, she needed to make him fall in love with her, then she needed to get his wood hard and inside of her. How on earth could she do that in three days?
"You’re up. You can do yourself the favour and go." Welcod her from the entrance. Standing by the carved door secluded by fur was Jia Hao.
The man in question did not even want her to stay.
"Good morning." She breath. Her nose twitched. Morning breath. She needed to brush her teeth and desperately. "Sleep well?"
Jia Hao stared at her like she was a parasite. The man who ward up to her last night was gone. He shrugged.
"I did." Mira added.
"I did not ask." Jia Hao responded. Curt.
Mira’s eyes lined up and down his body. He was dressed as before, just with a different animal skin on his body, looking like a proper dominant alpha male. She swallowed. There is another part of his body that is dominant. A part well hidden between those fur pants.
"Can I stay here, Jia Hao? For a few days?"
His brows narrowed. "Why?"
"Because I want to be with you."
There it was. Shock, plastered all over his face. The disgust in his gaze changed into pure amazent. "Why?" He voiced.
It won’t be easy to gain his trust and she knew it but ti was sothing she did not have. "I want to be the wife I never got to be with you. If you give the chance. I want to prove to you that I have changed." I also don’t want to die and want to carry your babies as soon as possible but you don’t need to know that, Mira thought to herself.
Jia Hao’s face harboured doubt. "If you even think about trying sothing funny-" His voice was rageful.
"Then kill . I will be your next dinner. I won’t try anything that would harm you or anyone in your pride, I swear."
His gaze lingered on her.
"Please." She begged. She noticed hesitation in his body movent. If she went back, she could die. If she stayed here and not mate with him, she would die, but the odds might be in her favour while she’s here.
"Fine. But you won’t leave my sight at any instance. I do not trust you."
Her face lightened. "Thank you!" She clapped. Eugh. She needed to wash too, her armpits reeked. "Can I wash myself? I haven’t bathe."
Jia Hao’s gaze darkened. He knew she wouldn’t be out of his sight but he wasn’t sure he wanted to stay there and watch. He hated her. But he could not deny she was his mate and attractive. Yet he could not leave her to patrol his pride without governance. Who knows? She could poison the water for the other pride mbers.
"Sure. Co with ." Jia Hao comanded. Mira stood, following behind him. She was leading him sowhere she was unfamiliar with. The old Mira never stayed here long enough to know how to navigate around the pride and for how beautiful and civilised this place is, current Mira wondered why.
That woman was blinded by stupidity!
"Take off your clothes and wash off here." Jia Hao ordered. This wasn’t the spring from last night. It was a pond.
"Do I get a change of clothing?" She asked. Jia Hao sneered. "On second thought, these do just fine."
Behind that hotness, Jia Hao was scary. He walked to a tree by the pond bank, the only one close to it and segregated from other trees which aligned further back.
Mira undid the knot of the vines behind her back. Her breasts ca loose and she took the leaves bra off. She turned to see her husband. He was staring, watching her like one breath of her could kill. She sighed. For soone who pulled her legs apart and sniffed her pussy on the first actual eting, he sure does not show any form of interest.
She took off the leaves skirt and folded it into a pile before diving into the water.
The pond wasn’t as warm and relaxing as the spring but it sure wasn’t cold. It was okay. "Jia Hao, can I get so bath scrub and maybe whatever soap alternative you have?"
Mira paused. Does he know what soap is? "Flower fragrances." She corrected.
Jia Hao went behind the tree and erged a short while after with a scrub and flower petals. He handed it to her.
"Thank you." Mira smiled. Jia Hao’s tail wiggled. "Can I pat you?" He knelt, no further questions asked. This stunned her. She used a wet hand to trace the side of his face till her hand reached his hair. Jia Hao let his face rest in her palm, purring. "Good kitty." She praised.
He purred louder. He enjoyed pats. While she would rather prefer running her hand through a different head on his body, she wasn’t complaining. A low growl resounded in her ears when she took her hand off. She wasn’t sure if that was him displeased by her not touching him or glad she wasn’t but she didn’t say anything.
Jia Hao did not go back to the tree, he just sat there and watched her bathe, not taking his eyes off her for even a second. Mira felt his gaze all over her and she wasn’t sure if she should be pleased or uncomfortable. He really ant what he said when he said he wasn’t going to let her out of his sight.
She finished washing herself and stepped out. Jia Hao felt a thrush against the groin of his fur pants as she ca out of the water. He looked at her this ti, carefully scanning her features.
This demon that was his wife was beautiful. And her recent change in behaviour was questionable. He wasn’t sure whether to let himself be fooled again or stay away. But with a body like that, it was almost as if she was calling for him. It felt dangerous. On no account would he love the very bane of his existence.
He turned away. "I do not have all ti to wait, I am not your keeper." He worded, distaste in his tone.
"Forgive ." Mira cooed, putting on her clothes. She slled divine. The flowers fragrances he picked for her glued her skin enhancing her aroma to him. "I won’t keep you much longer." Mira added, panting.
He hated that he enjoyed her scent. He hated that he enjoyed her touch and wanted her to lay her hand on him again. He hated her.
"I am ready. Where do we go now?"
"We?" Jia Hao turned back, a brow raised.
Mira swallowed. "You. Wherever you go, I follow. I want to serve you."
