Fuck! Mira panicked in her head as she paced along an axis in this enclosed space. Ming Tao looked hot. Why did he look so hot? There was sothing in the air that shifted when he showed up that was magnetic. It drew her to him in a way she had never felt before.
Was it the distance that caused this. . . The long ti apart? Or was it how he left her with a lingering feeling to rember him by? She did not know. She could not tell, but her heart had been pounding against her chest since she saw him till now and she needed to calm down.
That man made unable to walk for days, Mira raged in her head, an attempt to rember what he had done to snap her out of this magnetic attraction that consud her. I had to relearn how to walk after my experience with him and he put in coma, Mira added in her mind.

Mira’s face flattened. "That was so unnecessary now, system." She said. She was in distress and losing her mind and now, system just made her mind head sideways, in a direction it should not even be in the first place.

"Yes!" Mira blurted out. She was alone in a room situated in the quarters Ming Tao assigned to her so she could communicate with system outside her head.

Mira sighed. System was right yet everything felt so wrong and she had no idea why.
"Mira." A deep voice called from behind.
Mira’s heart skipped a beat and she jerked at the sound of it. This made her stumble towards the wall and hit the back of her head on it. "Ouch." She worded, regaining her own composure and rubbing the part of her head that collided with the wall.
"Sorry, I did not an to startle you." Ming Tao said. He looked so refined. His speech was refined and gentlemanly. He really worked on himself to be a better man as he said he would and then, there was her. What part of herself did she work on? She could not think of anything.
"It’s okay. What’s your business here?" She asked politely. She rethought that statent and rephrased. "I an, you are supposed to ask that, pfft." Mira blabbed. "What I an is why have you, The Mighty Cheetah, co to see ?" Mira bowed. It was a mock act but also real. Basically a flirt.
Ming Tao brushed a hand through his hair and when he took it off, those hair strands fell right back in place. These people had no hair stylists nor barbers nor scissors yet they could style hair. That needed to be studied, Mira thought.
"I ca to ask what you are doing here. It has been so long." Ming Tao said. He was still standing close to the door.
Oh. Well, I’m here to breed, Mira thought in her head, but she could not say that out to him. Mira cleared her throat. "I want to discover more about us." She uttered. "And what more we could be. Especially after the way you left."

Mira smiled nervously at system. She sure wished it would be ’baby’ and not plural. The last plural birth she had ended rather painfully.
"Hm." Ming Tao said. "You ca all that way because of a kiss?" He had a cocky tone that vexed her.
Because of a kiss? He kissed her. She felt his emotions through that kiss. It was hot and burning. It just wasn’t any kind of kiss. "Don’t be an ass, Ming Tao." Mira said.
Ming Tao raised a brow and leaned his torso forward slightly, he placed both his hands on his waists. He had a half smirk on his face as he stared at her with interest. "Did you think about while I was gone? It must have been one hell of a kiss." He bit the end of his lower lip.
Mira’s cheeks burned. He was acting different and it leaned more towards asshole. Mira sighed. "Do you want there to be an us or not? I still want to fulfil my duty but I could et another husband instead. It’s your call." She pouted, looking at him flatly.
Please, don’t tell to go, please tell to stay, Mira begged in her mind. If he called her bluff, she would have to still remain here and that would be aggravating considering he may tease her for it later. And it looked like he would.
"Stay." Ming Tao stated, his voice suave. "I want you here. I’m glad you ca." He added. Ming Tao moved closer to Mira till he stood in front of her. Mira looked up to face him. She felt small. It was as if he had grown a few inches taller and gotten way more mature than the man she knew. He had so much masculine energy radiating off him that it made her pussy beat. So this was Ming Tao in his coalition. No wonder he was the Mighty Cheetah, Mira thought.
This closeness forced Mira to swallow. Her breath caught in her throat and she stopped breathing.
"If you didn’t, I would have co to get you myself." Ming Tao said. He breathed down her face and his eyes stared intensely into hers. Ming Tao grinned. "Breathe." He murmured and took a step back.
He knew. That man knew.
"Feel welco and I will co and check on you after you have had your rest. My clan is your ho." Ming Tao said before walking out the wooden door. The mont the door ca shut, Mira let out all the air she held in her lungs out then took deep breaths.
Oh, she wanted to fuck him. And hard.
