"I’ll comply with whatever you decide, but whatever you want to do, you can’t really expect to help you rob money, right? The project is good but carries certain risks and has a long cycle, so I need to further define the target investors." It seems there’s nothing left to squeeze out of her, though maybe she could still work for him.

In fact, Atlas Hallow doesn’t necessarily need her for such work, but she should be the best candidate.

"I only want you to work to make you happy. I don’t need my woman to do anything for , understand?" He squeezed her hand a little tighter, speaking with a tone of slight displeasure. Did Charlotte really think he wasn’t capable of handling these things himself?

She truly underestimated him. He never does anything he’s not confident about.

He hoped that through their work together, she could understand him, knowing the kind of man she married, and feel proud of her man.

"Mr. Hallow, then what can I do for you?" Charlotte’s clear young face glimred with a soft yet determined light in her eyes.

"For instance, give a child..." Atlas Hallow’s deep magnetic voice echoed in the car. The high-performance vehicle isolated all external noise, making the passing people look like fras of dynamic images, just that.

In this world, there were only the two of them, heartbeats and breaths intertwining, and Charlotte’s petite body shivered slightly.

The topic turned back to this, and although she didn’t shy away from it, she never initiated it.

When they got married, Charlotte was misled by Luna’s news, believing a bit that he might really be incapable, but later, she realized it wasn’t a question of whether he could, but whether he wanted to stop.

This man was undoubtedly capable in so aspect.

Charlotte always felt that the reason he hadn’t gotten her pregnant wasn’t because they weren’t ready, since their marriage was rushed and they didn’t understand each other well, so they lacked the foundation for having a child.

Because he actively took precautions, he always did, so Charlotte felt like that day was still far off. Unexpectedly, he suddenly brought it up, surprising her.

If it were a normal marriage, having a child would be natural, but for them to have a child seed a bit strange.

After all, isn’t it too abnormal?

"What, you don’t want to?" The frightening aspect of Atlas Hallow was that he didn’t need to express much anger, nor be as brutal as others. A single question was enough to make soone sense danger.

His voice beca a bit husky, like a dark vortex with no visible bottom that could swallow soone up...

Charlotte nodded softly. After being with him, she considered many things, but what she looked forward to most was to be honest with each other. She wanted to express her thoughts truthfully: "I don’t want to because the timing seems off. Atlas, can you give a little more ti to get to know you?"

In the dark depths of Atlas Hallow’s eyes, a dim light flickered. The car halted beside the road on a crisp morning. He opened the window; the ginkgo leaves lining the street appeared as if they had paved the ground with gold. He took a cigarette from his pocket: "Is that okay?"

Charlotte nodded. He rarely smoked in front of her; did discussing this issue really make him uneasy enough to need a cigarette to calm down?

His sensual thin lips inhaled, the lightly minty white smoke swirled, but after just two puffs, Atlas Hallow stubbed out the cigarette.

Smoking by the car window, but the wind outside was truly cold, making the young lady’s face a bit pale.

"How much ti do you need to understand , Charlotte? I want a child..." Atlas couldn’t help but look at Charlotte while driving, realizing that his liking for this young lady seed to be growing, not just liking but also admiration.

He didn’t want to force her, but so matters were becoming pressing.

He had his arrangents, but ti was running out.

"How much ti? That depends on you, Mr. Hallow. If you weren’t so mysterious, maybe I wouldn’t need to spend effort understanding you." If he were just an ordinary man, wouldn’t that be great?

It’s not about him being mysterious but rather so things he really couldn’t let her know. If she knew that in the beginning he married a wife just to borrow the womb of a scholarly family’s daughter to have a child, then Charlotte would surely leave without hesitation, right?
