The housekeeper finished speaking and cautiously watched Foster Five with a smile. His thin lips curled slightly, showing disgust all over his face, which made the housekeeper a bit nervous: Was he still not satisfied?

These things truly didn’t catch his eye. If he were to give a gift, it would surely be the best, yet he feared Cecilia Wilson might not like them. So, these little items would first be given to Cecilia for fun, and then sothing she truly liked could be sent later.

He was just picking up each item to play with them when soone outside had already invited Atlas Hallow inside.

There are very few people who can enter to see Foster Five without prior notice, and Atlas Hallow was indeed one of them.

When Atlas ca in, he also saw the large tray in the housekeeper’s hands, filled with various small objects.

"Since when did you start liking these?" Atlas casually picked up a piece of osmanthus cake from the table and ate it. He had drunk a lot of tea today, and his stomach felt uncomfortable.

"The day before yesterday." The day Cecilia finished speaking, he asked the housekeeper to prepare them, since Cecilia was about to co over, and it was just right to give them to her for fun.

"Put them in my room," Foster Five waved lazily, knowing that although he was not satisfied with these things, he had no choice but to make do.

The housekeeper finally felt relieved. Though these things were small, there were many of them. In total, there were twenty-eight items, each worth at least hundreds of thousands. Not to ntion the bracelet, this tray of small toys would total over ten million, the price of a small apartnt, yet Foster Five still felt embarrassed to give them as gifts.

The housekeeper pondered that it was fortunate Cecilia recently watched palace dramas. If she had been watching war films, would Foster Five have asked him to get so weapons for fun? That would truly be a nightmare.

"You’re not here just for the pastries, are you?" Foster Five still wore a proud and displeased expression, always considering what kind of gift to give that would be both distinctive and show he wasn’t stingy. He continually felt embarrassed about giving Cecilia less money than others, and it made him uncomfortable.

He cared deeply about whether Cecilia saw him as a stingy man.

Sigh, he wasn’t stingy at all; he simply didn’t know how much money the housekeeper had given.

While arranging the small items neatly in the large tray, the housekeeper felt a cold chill behind him. Lately, it had beco increasingly challenging to serve well.

Though Foster Five’s appetite had improved, his mood had beco more unpredictable than before; he couldn’t divine what was on his mind at all.

Sotis, he greatly wished for Cecilia to co, but when she did, Foster Five might feel embarrassed or so other inexplicable feeling. The housekeeper couldn’t comprehend it, but it was clear Foster Five thought of Cecilia daily, though he didn’t dare to keep asking her to visit frequently for fear she might think sothing else.

It seems necessary to call Madam Foster; if Foster Five truly liked Cecilia, she shouldn’t keep behaving as she did. Why not just live here? Being Foster Five’s woman would be such a lucky thing.

The housekeeper also felt sympathetic toward Foster Five, not concerning himself with the lives of others.

Everyone in the Foster Family thought this way, likely because Old Madam Foster had instilled this mindset, as long as Foster Five was happy.

If Cecilia were more proactive and spoke with Foster Five, he would be happy. The housekeeper had to inform Madam Foster that Cecilia needed to be more proactive. After all, the Foster Family wouldn’t treat her poorly, right? Moreover, this tray of small items alone would be enough for an ordinary person for a lifeti. What more could Cecilia choose?

Foster Five was outstanding, as distinguished as a dragon among n, wealthy beyond asure, without crooked intentions — it was clearly Cecilia’s fortune.

So, he hid in the room and started making a call to Madam Foster.

Foster Five was unaware of this; he didn’t know about these things and was chatting idly with Atlas Hallow.

"He’s clarified the matter, hasn’t he?" Foster Five ate a candied lotus seed, then drank so tea to wash down the sweetness. The excellent tea always refreshed the palate.

"Hmm..." Atlas Hallow wore a serene look, coldly snorted.
