Now reading: Chapter 329 - 192 Tonight I don’t want to, not you don’t wan from Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game, a Romance novel by Tang Moye.

When his land was filled with peach blossoms, he slaughtered everything, staining the dust with blood...

Jack Smith was the first peach blossom that was strangled.

His terrifying nature was sothing Charlotte Miller never knew or witnessed. For instance, when dealing with Rowan Diaz or Ava Walker, she thought he was ruthless enough, but that was child’s play. He never wanted to scare her, so he never revealed his cruel side in front of her.

But now it was different. She struck the first blow against him. When she made her move, he didn’t retaliate, wanting her to think it over, but this damned woman showed no signs of regret, continuing to stab him again and again. Each stab hit his vital points, making his whole heart seem incomplete.

This was the first ti Atlas Hallow felt truly hurt.

Even when Hailey Hill deceived him, he didn’t feel hurt by her, as she wasn’t soone he cared about or loved. There was only a deep, indescribable sense of humiliation, nothing else.

But Charlotte was different. She was the woman he wanted to spend his life with. That desire grew from his heart and rooted itself in his body, with every cell rushing in his blood as if one day of his life was ant to be spent together with her. It was as if his purpose on this earth was to wait for her arrival. Yet, when he wanted to give all his heart to this woman, what he got in return was her ruthless betrayal.

It wasn’t even betrayal, really. This woman plainly told him she needed newer, more exciting feelings, ones he could no longer provide. This filled Atlas Hallow with both extre anger and a sense of helplessness.

Charlotte’s words still echoed in his ears. She said to him that a man’s shelf life is only a year, and his was already expired.

This reminded Iris Hallow of those canned goods, where once the shelf life expired, they would be rcilessly thrown into the trash. Was he just a can like that?

After being looked at during his shelf life and tasted a few tis, once expired, he was thrown into the trash pile. Was Atlas Hallow sothing so worthless?

She was the first one daring enough to toy with him.

He spoiled her too much, leaving her acting so boldly...

The conversation led nowhere, as clearly, Atlas Hallow wouldn’t break up with her amicably.

If they were to hire lawyers for this divorce case, it would require quite an effort.

In high-society divorce cases, there are generally two kinds. One drags on because property disputes aren’t easily settled. The other is extrely swift, a true lightning divorce, where news only reaches the public once the divorce is finalized.

However, both of these usually share a common trait: the details of the divorce agreent remain confidential. If they couldn’t agree amicably, a lawsuit would undoubtedly stir up a storm.

She didn’t want that, but persuading Atlas Hallow seed an impossibility now.

Alone in the bedroom, she curled up in her blanket yet still felt cold. The heating couldn’t seem to warm her.

In the midst of silence, only disturbed by her own breathing, the door was flung open, letting a surge of the man’s presence flood in...

Charlotte was so startled she sat up straight from the bed. These days, he slept in the study, but after three days, would he continue doing those things to her? This worried Charlotte imnsely. She feared getting pregnant again because if he insisted, she might not escape. The pills, whether taken before or after, were too damaging to take often, and if he didn’t use protection, she might imdiately get pregnant again.

With wide, watery eyes, she gazed at Atlas Hallow, sowhat wary.

He walked in elegantly, face calm as if everything that had just happened hadn’t occurred.

His long fingers undid his tie and threw it aside, then began undoing his shirt buttons one by one.

The lighting was dim, with only the nightlight on, yet she still saw his firm and smooth lines.

"I don’t want to..." Charlotte couldn’t help but bite her lip. She found herself biting her lip whenever she was nervous.

"Tonight, it’s not about what you want but what I want. When I want it, it’s not up to you." Atlas Hallow said blandly, almost like a tongue twister. As he spoke, he unbuckled his belt. When the zipper was undone, Charlotte could have sworn she felt her scalp about to explode, her heart so tense it seed ready to leap from her throat.

If he was returning to sleep in the bedroom, then it was her turn to sleep in the study.

Charlotte carefully wrapped herself in the blanket, trying to shift off the bed.

"You’re not allowed to go anywhere." The instant her toes touched the floor, she heard a cold bark from the man, causing her to shiver and retract her foot.

At the Hallow Family, if she clashed with him, she’d surely suffer.

She didn’t want to end up like Ava Walker, who was locked away by him. Since the divorce was proposed, she had to keep thinking of a way.

"You can only sleep on this bed, and without my permission, you’re not allowed to go anywhere." Atlas Hallow said while walking naked into the bathroom.

Would every night beco such an ordeal?

A dreadfully long ordeal...

With her back to Atlas Hallow, she lay in bed, tense as when she first married into the family, sleeping on her side at the bed’s edge, seemingly one step away from rolling off.

She organized his words in her mind; he said tonight wasn’t about her wanting or not, but about what he wanted.

Did that an she was safe tonight? Charlotte tucked herself further under the blanket and quickly closed her eyes, hoping she’d fall asleep fast and wake up to find he had gone to work.

In a situation like this, not eting was the best outco.

She didn’t know when she actually fell asleep, but when the door knocking woke her, she rubbed her eyes and groggily got out of bed. Who was ringing the doorbell at this ti? But she was sure it wasn’t Atlas Hallow.

If he wanted to co in, would he need to ring the bell?

Throwing on a robe, she opened the door to find the housekeeper respectfully standing there.

"Madam, Master said you should go down and prepare breakfast," said the housekeeper, speaking so clearly she was sure she didn’t mishear.

He ant prepare breakfast, not eat breakfast.

Charlotte nodded and told the housekeeper, "I’ll change and head down right away."

Was this a punishnt, making her cook breakfast? Wasn’t that too easy?

He was already up, probably working out in the gym by now. Not wanting to ponder it much more, Charlotte quickly changed her clothes and headed to the kitchen downstairs.

Once he finished eating, he should leave swiftly, allowing her to do what she wanted.

There were lawyers specifically for Ethan’s company, so she ought to consult with one about solving this quickly. But before that, she couldn’t provoke Atlas Hallow any further. Whatever needed to be said had been said; the rest needed to be resolved with ti.

The only direction she could strive for was to shorten the ti and process swiftly.

In fact, the situation was progressing better than she imagined. At least Atlas Hallow didn’t slap her to the ground or lock her up. Making breakfast was no difficult task, even if she wasn’t great at it; she could still manage sothing simple.

His breakfast was always a fusion of Eastern and Western styles, appearing to eat everything. She rembered once he even drank coffee while having pan-fried dumplings. The kitchen staff seed to know she was ant to make breakfast, as everyone had left the kitchen.

The Hallow Family had about four cooks, one pastry chef, and among the four cooks, one specialized in Western cuisine while the others in Chinese cuisine. Among the Chinese cuisine chefs, there were even a pastry chef and a stir-fry chef, each with different specialties.

The kitchen equipnt was extrely professional, more refined and precise than in hotel kitchens, making her feel quite overwheld.

Opening the massive fridge, a blast of cold hit her face. She looked inside and took out so bacon and a few eggs.

She could fry eggs and bacon, which was the simplest breakfast, and quite tasty. To avoid any fuss from Atlas Hallow, she even cut a small portion of fruit onto a small plate, making it seem quite abundant. Fortunately, she knew how to use the coffee machine. After brewing a cup, she arranged everything on a large tray and carried it out. Atlas Hallow was already seated at the dining table.

His expression was calm, revealing no changes, but such calm was when it was most terrifying. Charlotte feared he might walk over, upset, and toss her tray, dumping coffee all over her.

But these were rely her wild imaginations. Atlas Hallow didn’t make any such move. Watching as she set the food before him, he actually began eating with great focus...
