At this mont, the forest outside had completely darkened.

Yet on such a mountain, it feels especially close to the moon, and the moonlight gracefully stread in through the window, illuminating Charlotte Miller’s face.

Her skin was so delicately fair that it seed softer and more captivating than the moonlight itself.

Perhaps after having so food, her lips slowly regained color, looking all the more alluring.

This wasn’t the pale Charlotte Miller he had seen earlier.

Perhaps even Charlotte herself hadn’t noticed the tiny piece of tofu still lingering at the corner of her mouth.

Atlas Hallow couldn’t resist leaning forward, reaching out with his fingers to wipe her mouth’s corner, but Charlotte instinctively backed away until she was pressed against the coffee table with nowhere to retreat, freezing in place.

Atlas’s fingertips touched her mouth’s corner, gently removing the tiny food residue, as he closely observed Charlotte’s flawless face.

There have been countless won showcased on TV or magazines, hailed as examples of costic beauty, but even the most expert surgeon couldn’t precisely recreate the perfect contours presented before him now.

His fingers brushed against her lips, soft like petals, all part of what he once had and wished to continue holding onto.

Never had he invested such effort into treating a woman, yet this woman didn’t appreciate it at all. No other won had made him put in this much effort; what did he get in return for his trouble?

Heartless betrayal?

Even imprisonnt or captivity, she should still be by his side.

Whenever he thought of Charlotte Miller striving to escape him, Atlas’s brows slowly furrowed, and the anger he had painstakingly suppressed began to ignite bit by bit.

Charlotte looked at Atlas, seeing ice-blue flas burning in his eyes, but these flas emitted not warmth, but a terrifying chill.

Her breath quickened, and the rose fragrance from her body scattered even stronger, like invisible hands extending, tightly gripping Atlas.

With this close proximity, Atlas didn’t conceal his desire at all, gazing at Charlotte’s delicate face and murmuring, "If you don’t want your mother boarding tomorrow’s plane back ho, you’ll co up with what I need now. If I’m in a good mood, maybe I’ll give your phone back."

What she cared about most was her family.

The food only brought a bit of physical tornt, but what actually tortured her spirit were those she cared about.

As if they were his parents, or Luna Miller or Jack Smith.

At the thought of Jack Smith, Atlas’s gaze beca even more fierce, like shooting arrows into Charlotte’s body.

"Can’t you think of another way besides threatening ?" As soon as her mother’s situation was ntioned, Charlotte grew anxious.

Even her breath beca extrely unstable.

Atlas chuckled coldly, saying casually, "thods don’t need to be nurous, as long as they work."

The man’s voice and presence pressed toward her from the air, like heavy grinding stones squeezing her, trying to drain every bit of her reason, even to the point of crushing her body until bones and flesh separated.

"What do you want? Do you want to stop ntioning divorce?" Charlotte trembled with anger, unable to figure out how to entangle with this man any further.

Everything returned to the starting point.

Each ti she tangled with this man, it was always in this repetitive cycle.

Whenever she believed she could successfully break free from him, everything returned to the beginning, her position still at a disadvantage.

"Why not divorce? Actually, whether we divorce or not is irrelevant to ..." Atlas looked at Charlotte, with a hint of mockery.

"A marriage certificate just justifies sleeping with you openly, without it, doing you might be more thrilling." Atlas’s voice rose deeply in the air, his large hand gripping Charlotte’s face to et his gaze.

His words struck Charlotte like a sharp slap across her face.

His grip began to intensify, nearly squeezing the color from her face, and Charlotte stared at Atlas with a look of anger and resentnt, wishing she could kill him.

"Your hobby is really special, enjoying forcing won? Is there fun in that?" Charlotte retorted through gritted teeth.
