"What’s going on? Didn’t you see that we were reversing here first?" Luna Miller impatiently frowned. In fact, over the years her temper hadn’t improved much, only that she didn’t show it in front of Mia Miller.
If she weren’t holding Mia, she would really want to rush out and have a good argunt.
A woman got out of the red sports car, wearing a tiny short skirt, a white strappy tank top layered with an embroidered denim vest, black little leather boots, and accessorized with a hat and sunglasses. Luna’s anger flared up even more.
She looked just like a celebrity or social dia influencer. Why was she wearing sunglasses when it was already getting dark?
"Luna, let it go..." Charlotte Miller softly comforted her. The whole family ca out to enjoy a al, no need to get upset over this.
Luna glanced at the Mia in her arms and held back without saying anything more.
If it had been a few years ago, she would have definitely scratched that woman’s car a few tis.
Annie Gray had reserved the best spot, and indeed the restaurant was beautiful. Even before the light and 3D show started, the huge chandelier was casting a glow, and the tables were spaced quite generously apart.
While everyone was looking at the nu, Mia Miller noticed that the woman who had just snatched their parking spot was seated directly opposite them.
She seed to be waiting for soone since there were two sets of tableware on her table.
"Luna, don’t mind her. The food here looks good. They have wagyu beef and silver cod that you like, I’ve already ordered them for you." Charlotte wanted to order every dish off the nu as she was eager to try them all. Since Mia didn’t eat out often, she could only eat a tiny bit of each dish, so the variety had to be wide.
Roasted celeriac with cream cheese, cod with roasted lettuce and amaranth, coarse wheat cake with pistachio ice cream, organic eggs with bacon emulsion, scallops with red beet grapefruit sauce, and red wine poached pears with homade cookie dessert all looked very delicious.
The waiter introduced politely, "All the cheeses used in our restaurant are air-lifted from Paris, from one of the best cheese shops, Barthélémy. The flavors are very authentic."
The waiter pointed to the nu, "For example, these are so of our most popular dishes: Cread herring garnished with beetroot, currants, and purslane; veal liver with onions and soft pea puree; and roasted potatoes with tuna and mussels, brushed with a layer of saffron aioli. The mashed potatoes can be eaten by the little ones, they’re very smooth and creamy."
Hearing that little ones could eat a bit of it, Charlotte found it even harder to resist and simply ordered them all.
"You ordered a bit too much, you might not be able to finish it." With only three adults, they ordered portions enough for six or seven people. The waiter kindly reminded, "Our portions aren’t exactly small."
"No worries, we want to try everything," Charlotte smiled and handed the nu to the waiter, then let him proceed with serving.
"Charlotte, you should eat more too. Look, Luna’s complexion is already much better than yours." This made Freya Morgon very pleased. Luna’s current state of mind had greatly improved.
"Yes, I do need to eat more, I’m really quite hungry today." She truly felt quite famished, especially seeing Mia sitting next to her, which made her appetite particularly good.
Freya was always ticulous when going out, bringing Mia’s own utensils, with a delicate cartoon bowl and spoon properly laid on the table. Mia sat there elegantly, as if she were a true princess, waiting for the dishes to arrive, with her eyes sparkling brighter than the crystal chandeliers, almost like wearing natural contact lenses.
"Mia will surely be more beautiful than you sisters when she grows up," Freya said proudly, tying a soft scarf around Mia.
Charlotte inadvertently glanced over at the woman who had snatched their parking spot, she seed sowhat familiar.
Where had she seen her before?
Oh, the host at the charity gala.
That night she wore a seductive evening dress, quite different from now.
But Charlotte still recognized her. No wonder she acted so arrogantly, considered quite the hotshot.
But how could she be so different from her sweet, cute, and cultured image on TV?
Perhaps everyone has multiple facets. Charlotte didn’t dwell on it much as the appetizers quickly arrived.
