This mont was the most dangerous, Young Master Hallow had instructed them to watch over Miss Miller carefully, but it had already been a long ti since she went in.

Who exactly is she having dinner with, and would there be any danger?

The bodyguards were anxious but didn’t dare to barge in recklessly, afraid of offending Miss Miller.

This was truly a battle between the heart and mind. Finally, the driver discussed with the bodyguard and said, "Shall we inform Young Master Hallow first? If he doesn’t mind, then we won’t be in a rush. If he thinks we should go in and check, then it’s his decision and Miss Miller can’t bla us."

In fact, both of them were considered bodyguards, one was just responsible for following closely, and the other for driving. But when it ca to safety, they shared the sa responsibility.

The bodyguard nodded, resigned to this plan. Miss Miller rarely socialized for als; if sothing really happened, they couldn’t bear the responsibility.

If it really was an attack on the road, it would be fine as they could risk their lives to protect Miss Miller.

But what was this, dining for such a long ti? Issues from banquets are not uncommon, especially for als involving beautiful won. If it was two won, they probably wouldn’t choose such a place. The bodyguards were almost certain that the person dining with Charlotte had to be a man.

Atlas Hallow was in the office with Daniel Parker, dealing with so docunts, as there was still a process for the handover.

These days, they estimated they would have to endure all night; so matters could only be handled by themselves.

When the phone rang, he was just about to stop and grab so food with Daniel Parker.

The restaurant downstairs delivered two servings of fried rice and soup; Atlas Hallow washed his hands and sat down. The phone on the desk vibrated a few tis, and when Daniel handed it over to him, Atlas’s eyes showed a flicker.

It was from the people he sent to accompany Charlotte Miller, all competent and skilled. Was sothing wrong since they called at this ti?

His slender fingers slid, pressing the answer button, and on the other end was the bodyguard’s sowhat troubled voice: "Young Master, Miss Miller said she had a dinner appointnt tonight. She asked us not to follow. It’s been over two hours, should we..."

The bodyguard was seeking his instruction; Atlas’s eyes darkened slightly, asking which restaurant Charlotte was dining at.

"At the Rich Diner," the bodyguard reported the na, awaiting Atlas’s next instruction.

That was a place all the city’s wealthy liked to frequent. He himself was a regular there, often hosting distinguished guests. The place specialized in top-quality abalone and sea cucumber dishes, expensive but stable in quality. But Charlotte shouldn’t typically favor such a place.

Who was she inviting? Who did she still have business dealings with in this city?

One thing he was sure of: Charlotte must be dining with a man. Only n liked the pretentious style of the Rich Diner.

"I got it." After acknowledging in a low voice, Atlas hung up the call.

He stood up, walked to the window, and dialed a number, which was answered as soon as it rang. "President Hallow, anything you need tonight?"

The call was answered by Rich Diner’s owner, who was surprised that Atlas Hallow himself was calling, as it was usually his assistant who booked tables.

"There’s a Miss Miller dining at your place tonight, with how many people, and who are they?" Atlas’s deep and authoritative voice filled the air, making Daniel almost choke on his fried rice. The fact that he was still concerned about who the forr madam was dining with was truly sothing.

"Yes, a Miss Miller is dining here, booked the premium private room, a total of two people, accompanied by a gentleman," the restaurant owner reported as he flipped through the booking ledger.

"Boss Taylor, please pay special attention; make sure they don’t get into trouble from drinking too much," Atlas’s brow furrowed tightly. If he sent the bodyguards in now, knowing Charlotte’s temper, she would likely tell him not to have his people follow her.

His statent made the owner of Rich Diner understand what needed to be done. A beautiful woman was always pleasing to the eye, and the female guest looked particularly comforting.

The owner personally took a tray of snacks inside, ostensibly a gift, but really to check if anything was wrong, instructing the waitstaff to pay extra attention, before coming out to call Atlas again.

"President Hallow, Miss Miller had so wine, but she doesn’t seem to be drunk, and she’s almost done eating." After speaking, the owner hung up, thinking to himself it would be better if the lady guest finished soon and left. As long there were no problems on his premise, all was good.

So she did drink, and with a man too?

With a stern face, Atlas grabbed his car keys and headed out, leaving Daniel standing dumbfounded in the office.

Weren’t they supposed to finish up so matters? Wasn’t tonight going to be an all-nighter? The coffee was brewed and everything, yet the boss just ran off alone. Is he going to make him work alone?

Really heartbreaking, working for this kind of madman, it’s only a matter of ti before he goes crazy.

Driving, Atlas’s mind stirred like turbulent waves.

In the business world, it’s only natural for Charlotte to have so social engagents, but she rarely dined with other n, let alone drank with them.

Frustrated, he ran a hand through his hair, accelerating in the direction of the Rich Diner.

"Miss Miller, let give you a ride back..." Gael Hallow looked at Charlotte Miller’s flushed cheeks, even more enchanting under the night sky. People always said true beauty was in the bones, not the skin, yet this woman was beautiful in every way.

"Forget it. It might cause misunderstandings; I wouldn’t want your wife to get jealous." Charlotte’s bright eyes twinkled, her smiling like a fairy in the dark, the slight inebriation making her steps lazily charming.

"I have a son, but I am not yet married." Snowy Lopez, an actress like her, barely attended school. If going to college ant learning how to maintain an extravagant lifestyle, Snowy Lopez would excel, perhaps even make it to Harvard. But in other respects, she was shallow to the extre, incapable of having a decent conversation.

Such a man had the nerve to tell her he had a son but was not married, utterly shaless.

Charlotte’s smile deepened as she extended a finger to gently touch Gael’s chest, laughing softly, "You’re certainly not a good man..."

That soft sentence nearly lted Gael to the core. Just as he intended to grab Charlotte’s hand, she stepped back, laughing more heartily, "You should go first. My driver will pick up, see you tomorrow."

The act of being coy made Gael even less able to resist; clearly not allowing him to escort her, yet she stirred his blood into a boil.

Yet he dared not offend her, fearing it would leave her with a poor impression. Patience is a virtue, isn’t it?

Charlotte watched as Gael drove off in his car, not far away another car approached rapidly.

Was it coming at such speed to try and run her down?

Charlotte bit her lip, standing firm as the bodyguard’s face turned pale with fear, rushed out of the car like lightning to pull Charlotte aside but before even reaching her, the car ca to a screeching halt. The sharp sound of brakes filled the air.

A man’s strong and cold aura filled the air as the car door was opened, spreading into the night...

Atlas’s face was ashen, radiating a chilling aura as if touch ant harm.

Upon opening the car door, he pulled Charlotte inside, shut the door, and took the driver’s seat himself, making the black car disappear like lightning into the night.

The bodyguard almost had his eyes fall out watching; Young Master Hallow’s speed was incredible, like a magician making soone disappear with a whoosh, taking Miss Miller with the car like that?

As professional bodyguards, it was disgraceful to be outperford by their master, although Young Master Hallow’s skills weren’t exactly a secret.

"Alright, we’re off for the night. With Young Master Hallow ensuring Miss Miller’s safety, it’s safer than anyone else’s protection." The bodyguard drove away from the Rich Diner.

Charlotte looked at the man driving under the night sky, what was wrong with him?

Why did he seem like a powder keg ready to explode?
