"That kind of man is shaless, you’d better be careful." After Charlotte booked the ticket, she still couldn’t help but add.
Luckily, there was a ticket available. She had a few hours and should be able to et Atlas Hallow once.
Perhaps having breakfast was a good option.
"Want to have breakfast together?" When Atlas received Charlotte’s call, he was slightly surprised. Her inviting him to breakfast was sothing that had never happened before, and it almost made him feel a bit flattered.
If she invited him, not to ntion breakfast, he would take poison as if it were delicious.
"Of course. What would you like to eat?" Atlas’s deep voice ca over the receiver, accompanied by that enticing magnetic allure.
"You’re staying at the hotel recently, and the hotel restaurant’s breakfast offers a lot of variety. I’ll co over to find you." Though the street corner food stall with fried buns was a very good choice, now she wanted to discuss sothing serious with him, and that place was quieter, making it the most suitable choice.
"I’ll wait for you." The corner of Atlas’s lips curved into a sexy arc, his gentle voice more subtle and sweet than butter.
He was waiting for her...
Driving to the hotel, Charlotte couldn’t hide the fatigue in her eyes. She hadn’t slept much last night, and all these events made her feel sowhat exhausted.
As she handed the car to the valet, entering the lobby through the large revolving glass doors, she saw Atlas standing there.
The top-tier hotels never skimp on decorating their lobbies, and a large amount of cash exchanged for grandeur and splendour.
Crystal chandeliers in the shape of rivers extended across the high ceilings, with every beam of light seeming to land on Atlas, who absorbed it all, turning his whole person into a luminous entity, making it impossible not to notice him at first glance.
Atlas stood under the crystal chandelier, smiling, extending his hand, an inviting gesture that left all the won in the lobby stunned.
They were all watching, wondering who the lucky girl was that had such a handso man waiting here.
Charlotte suddenly recalled Annie’s words about how she was young and Joseph Shaw was good-looking.
The issue wasn’t about age. She had gone through so much that her ntal age must be old enough, yet she still couldn’t resist the allure of Atlas Hallow.
Walking over, she placed her hand in Atlas’s and let him lead her toward the restaurant.
They arrived early, so there weren’t too many people, choosing a spot furthest from the food station.
"What do you want to eat?" Atlas noticed Charlotte’s porcelain-white face and the faint blue under her eyes—she really hadn’t rested well last night.
"Anything’s fine. Maybe just a glass of juice." Without enough sleep, even the appetite couldn’t co around, and Charlotte couldn’t really think of what she’d like to eat.
"Juice on an empty stomach isn’t good. Didn’t you eat the snacks sent yesterday?" Atlas called the waitstaff, giving instructions, while thinking those snacks he’d sent probably hadn’t been eaten.
"Yes, Annie and I had a little bit." Charlotte nodded, the snacks were nice, but yesterday’s atmosphere wasn’t suitable for a feast, and neither of them really had much appetite.
The waiter ca over with a tray carrying green tea, freshly baked crispy croissants, bacon, smoked at, yogurt mixed with fruits and nuts, and of course, hot soy milk and small buns—a blend of Eastern and Western flavors.
Charlotte picked up the soy milk, drank a few sips, and ate a small bun, then finally seed to gather so strength.
"Atlas Hallow, I have sothing to tell you." Her current relationship with Atlas was very unique, apart from past events, they were Mia’s mom and dad—at least they could admire each other.
So what she was about to do, she wanted to tell Atlas truthfully.
After all, the things he wanted to know couldn’t be hidden for long; it wouldn’t be pleasant if things turned sour later, so it was better to let him know now.
Actually, everything that happened between them was due to a lack of honesty.
"In fact, coming to see you today isn’t specifically about having breakfast. There’s sothing I need to tell you." Charlotte put down the cup of hot soy milk, speaking with an honest expression.
