Even if it doesn’t work out, buying a building wouldn’t be a problem for him. So why is he squeezing in here with her?
"Yeah, I’m so poor I can only live off won," Atlas Hallow laughed softly, taking the cup of coffee from Charlotte Miller’s hand and sipping from the sa spot on the cup rim she had used.
"You can’t live off . This is my office. I heard the male escorts at that bar last ti charge high prices," Charlotte bit her lip. Honestly, both of them had a pile of business to deal with, so how could they focus on work while stuck in an office together like this?
"Well, I have no choice but to stick with you then. If you don’t let , I’ll force it," Atlas Hallow replied with a playful look that suggested she couldn’t do anything about it, pulling Charlotte to sit on the sofa.
"Alright, let’s talk business. I’m preparing to acquire my company. Haven’t you always wanted to join?" Atlas put down the coffee cup, his expression becoming serious.
"At what point are you planning to drop Hallow Clan?" Charlotte was concerned about this. Currently, Hallow Clan was highly favored by the market and on a steady rise. So how was Atlas going to bring the stock price to his desired level?
What would that price point be? These are the things Charlotte was most interested in.
"Cut it in half." Atlas’s eyes were tender, focused on Charlotte’s face like bits of starlight.
But when he ntioned cutting in half, his gaze turned determined and fierce, as if he were a completely different person.
Charlotte knew the death of his father in a car accident and his mother’s current coma had severely impacted Atlas. However, he was always reserved, never showing it.
Cut in half was roughly what she expected. She could probably start entering the market when the drop reached about forty percent.
Even knowing it might be cut in half, she couldn’t possibly buy all the shares at a fifty percent drop. It’s impossible to buy everything at the lowest price.
Charlotte was never greedy.
In fact, she anticipated the stock price would fall.
The fundantals of stock price growth are stable performance and the inclusion of quality assets. Right now, Hallow Clan had neither.
After Atlas leaves, it’s predictable that the overall performance of Hallow Clan would hardly continue upwards unless they were fabricating results. This would soon reflect in the annual report, and it’s certainly unlikely to gain any quality asset infusion. Rumors about Hallow Clan drawing hot money have already made people sowhat panicky.
If Flix Hallow dared to falsify the financial statents, that would be a dead end.
But it seed like he was left with no choice but to drink poison to quench thirst.
Such a big enterprise isn’t as simple as Flix Hallow imagined, sitting in that position signing papers and money just snowing down.
From project selection to personnel decisions and asset inclusion, it all requires sufficient talent and, of course, a certain network, and lastly, resolute decisiveness, things Flix Hallow lacked.
No new profit growth points were visible in the financial statent, and Flix Hallow was already panicking.
The outco of this war seed predetermined before it even began.
Winning the battle of minds is the ultimate strategy; once the opponent is unsettled, victory is assured.
Daniel Parker brewed fresh coffee outside and brought in two cups; the market was about to open.
He was there earning a salary, seemingly having to serve two people. This deal was turning out to be a bit of a loss.
"Assistant Parker, I’ll handle this," Annie Gray erged from her office to see Daniel carrying a tray with two aromatic cups of coffee.
She felt a bit embarrassed, thinking how inappropriate it was for Daniel to be doing this.
Even though Atlas and Charlotte were in that kind of relationship, as guests, it seed improper to have Daniel doing this.
"You’re too kind, Assistant Gray," Daniel said politely, indicating it wasn’t anyone’s fault.
Bla the boss for pursuing his ex-wife and dragging it out here. What else could he do?
He could only dutifully carry on as a handyman.
Sipping coffee, sitting at the desk, just waiting for the market to open.
The first price at market opening has its own strategy, and Charlotte saw that Hallow Clan’s stock had opened much higher, realizing Atlas had already started his actions.
From afar, the Hallow Clan building stood, as always, like a sharp blade lodged in the city’s heart, commanding the city’s economic pulse.
