The people in the cars that had been ferociously chasing Atlas Hallow suddenly beca visibly panicked.

Because they were chasing Atlas Hallow, their speed was already incredibly fast, and now with the car behind them ramming with force, they were pushed into frenzy, unable to stop.

There was a danger sign in front; on this mountain road after the storm, a landslide area had ford without guardrails—if one wasn’t careful, they might drive right off the cliff. Though the mountain wasn’t high, such a fall would be life-threatening.

A heart-wrenching scream suddenly echoed on the winding road; the drivers of the first two cars saw the danger sign and tried to slow down for the turn but it was too late—the cars behind crashed fiercely, relentlessly shoving them toward the broken guardrail, leading to a tragic plunge down the cliff.

The scream ca from Charlotte Miller, who watched Atlas Hallow crash those two cars down the cliff, then abruptly slow down and turn right while grazing the guardrail, turning the steering wheel to the extre, tires skimming the gravel by the roadside.

It was a re few seconds—electric and swift—yet as he drove past, it felt like a movie’s slow motion unfolding in her gaze. The whole scene left those behind him shaken; she scread, then covered her mouth, fearing her scream might affect his judgnt.

That was truly dangerous...

But there’s relief too; he was alright, tears always welling but she dared not let them fall.

The car ca to a stop by the roadside, and Daniel Parker drove quickly to halt behind Atlas Hallow’s car.

Her eyes, clouded with mist, stared at the car door slowly opening, revealing a tall figure dressed in black. His head lowered, crimson blood gleaming from his head, trickling down his defined profile.

The dense, bright red blood flowed along the handso curve of his face, dripping to the ground, forming vivid crimson flowers.

Across several hundred ters, his eyes reflected a trace of crimson, yet he still saw that slender, gentle silhouette.

His previously fierce gaze softened, dark pupils constricting, becoming incredibly tender.

In his entire vision, only she existed, as if everything in the world was void—all but the woman with a face full of worry and love.

Luckily, Daniel Parker breathed a sigh of relief, fortunate that they were safe.

Atlas Hallow slowly walked toward her, extending those bloodstained fingers.

Charlotte Miller’s misty eyes t his as she stepped forward with unwavering resolve.

Charlotte placed her hand in his large palm, Atlas Hallow looked at her face—still pale from the intense turmoil—and suddenly yanked her into his embrace fiercely.

He pulled with such strength that her arm trembled with pain, her slender, soft body plunging forward to fall into Atlas Hallow’s arms.

She clutched his shirt, her delicate white fingers gripping tightly, then raised watery eyes to gaze at him.

"You’re so bold, daring to co to a place like this, huh?" Atlas Hallow’s gaze deepened, resembling the vast, unfathomable ocean, where love surged like tumultuous waves...

As the wind brushed past, even her breath seed tinged with a tallic taste, looking at the bloodstains on the man’s handso face, she trembled and said, "Because you’re here, I ca..."

His eyes, once filled with a hint of nace, suddenly misted thinly, gripping her hand so tightly as if trying to fuse her into his blood, refusing to let go.

"From now on, there’s no need for this—nobody can take my life away, my life is yours, it’s always in your hands," he said earnestly to et Charlotte Miller’s eyes.

He wasn’t skilled at sweet talk, but when he spoke these words, they beca the most enchanting.

Charlotte Miller looked at the face marked by blood, her eyes reddening, and suddenly tiptoed to urgently kiss his thin lips.

His lips were sowhat cold, the chill through worldly affairs, yet they were heated, and the heat, erging from coldness, was boundless love and admiration for her.

Charlotte knew, indeed, she was in love with this man.

When he spoke softly about his life always being in her hands, she knew she wanted to be with him this life, loving him only, so she kissed him fervently against all reasoning.

That’s just how she was; loving him with an openness without concealnt.

Charlotte’s initiation made Atlas Hallow’s sturdy fra tremble intensely.

Soft flower-like lips lingered on his mouth, Atlas’s eyes, always churning with bloodlust, found those tightly coiled emotions dissipating into intimate affection upon touching her lips.

All his life he’d faced dangers countless tis, yet never like this.

Trembling all over, his large hand grasped her slender waist fiercely, pulling her intimately close, passionately savoring her taste, devouring the kiss she’d initiated...

Daniel Parker stood distantly, not daring to interrupt, even as the distant sirens echoed across the highway, these two who had just survived a life and death ordeal were heedless of anything but each other.

Though there was no threat to life, the chain collision accident still landed Atlas Hallow in the hospital. With such a large wound on his forehead and injuries all over, Charlotte Miller had him undergo a full body examination.

After reassuring Luna Miller over the phone, she took a shower in the hospital room bathroom, her body still stained with his blood, and clothes unwearable—Annie Gray brought her a set of clothes; after washing and changing, she ca out of the bathroom as Atlas had completed his checkup and returned to the room.

He wore a blue-and-white striped hospital gown, and his lips curled seductively as he approached her.

Charlotte eyed the bandage on his forehead, hesitant to touch it: "It won’t ruin your looks, will it?"

The wound on his forehead was large; she worried it might leave a scar.

"If it does, will you stop loving ?" Atlas eyed Charlotte’s concerned gaze, leaning down to gently brush her lips.

Fresh from the shower, Charlotte exuded a fragrance that masked the hospital’s pungent disinfectant odor with a faint rose scent.

"Of course, I sold Hallow Clan just to hear news of you, Atlas Hallow, you’re penniless now, so going forward..." Charlotte’s eyes brimd with amusent as she whispered against his lips.

"Going forward, you’ll be beautiful as a flower, I’ll earn and support us, no objections?" Her lips almost against his, their breaths mingling, wonderfully harmonious.

"No objections. All these years, and finally a woman who can support , it’s just what I’ve been wanting." Atlas embraced her waist, speaking with ease.

"Glad you have no objections." Charlotte smiled lightly; this man was indeed a sly fox—she was rely teasing, but he took it seriously, was he genuinely planning to be kept?

After staying in the hospital for a day, Atlas couldn’t bear it and decided to go ho since his injuries weren’t severe.

Charlotte drove him back to his old apartnt, and while they were in the elevator, Atlas seriously said to her, "From now on, be nice to ."

Without reason, Charlotte was amused by his deanor, giggling.

This wasn’t the Atlas Hallow she knew—he seed like a demure little wife intent on clinging to her.

Back in the apartnt, Charlotte called in for lunch; she really needed to enroll in culinary classes—her cooking couldn’t make it, and now Atlas was recovering, she couldn’t let him cook.

"Go shower and change clothes, then have lunch. Since I’m providing for you, you can’t go hungry. I’ve splurged today, ordered a lot of food." Charlotte ushered Atlas into the bathroom, fetched him a set of casual clothes from the walk-in closet.

Opening the bathroom door, she suddenly saw Atlas standing bare, her face flushed slightly, placing the clothes on the rack, ready to leave as a large hand grabbed hers and pulled her under the shower.

Cold water suddenly ward upon her skin as Atlas quickly adjusted the temperature, quietly saying, "Let’s shower together..."
