Back at the office, I heard about what happened in the elevator today.
"You guys didn’t see it, President Hallow was so cool, he actually picked up Secretary Miller. I’m so envious..."
"Yeah, yeah, if I were Secretary Miller, I’d be over the moon today. I heard Jack Smith cornered her in the elevator, and when the doors opened, President Hallow carried her away. She’s really basking in her glory..."
"But if I were a man, I’d like Secretary Miller too. Look at her, she’s beautiful even without makeup. In this company, who could possibly be prettier than her...?"
When she finished speaking, the office girls felt sothing was off. Turning around, they saw Ava Walker standing behind them with an unpleasant expression.
What does it an, "who’s prettier than her in the company," is Charlotte really that beautiful? She certainly didn’t think so.
"Can you get paid by chatting instead of working?" Ava Walker glanced arrogantly at the group of young won gathered together. It was close to lunch, so everyone would pause their work for a cup of tea, relax a bit before heading to lunch together.
Everyone bowed their heads, watching as Ava Walker walked straight into her office and closed the door, finally letting out a breath of relief.
"We’re dood. We just said Secretary Miller is the prettiest; Miss Walker can’t stand it. If she tattles to Junior President Hallow, we’re done for." The young won were a bit anxious, the Hallow Clan offered great benefits and work environnt. No one wanted to lose their job over a joke.
"She probably won’t, she wouldn’t go to Junior President Hallow herself saying soone thinks Secretary Miller is prettier. How embarrassing." As footsteps and voices gradually faded away, Ava Walker’s office door slowly opened. Her alluring eyes seed filled with venomous snakes, ready to crawl out...

Atlas Hallow certainly didn’t lack pretty won, it’s just that Charlotte Miller fit his taste perfectly, increasingly so.
In the office, it’s still that thick, inseparable aura of n and won mingling together.
Atlas Hallow’s fingers gently touched the distinct bite mark on Charlotte Miller’s chest. Though it stopped bleeding, it still looked rather frightening.
After tidying Charlotte Miller’s clothes, his fingers gracefully, slowly buttoned them up one by one, then kissed her pale lips, "Just be good going forward, I’ll take care of you..."
His voice was so deep and sexy, sounding gentle, yet Charlotte Miller felt imnse fear.
He wouldn’t take care of her, he would hurt her, and each ti it felt worse.
Henceforth, she dared not joke casually with him; she had to survive. If she allowed him to tornt her, she probably wouldn’t live to see the light of day.
Looking at the quiet, doll-like Charlotte Miller, Atlas Hallow found himself unable to suppress his temper.
He was always proud of his self-control, yet it seed useless with her. He wanted to control her completely, and failing to do so made him want to rage. Did he just scare her?
"What’s wrong? What are you afraid of, Charlotte?" Atlas Hallow placed her on the sofa, stood up, and personally brought her a cup of tea, as the previous one had long gone cold, like her heart.
