After Alexander King heard about the incident, he no longer paid attention to Nanny Johnson who was crying there alone, and drove away.
The night wind was strong and cold, but he still rolled down the window, letting the icy wind lash against his face as if that was the only way he could stay sober.
He was really foolish, always thinking that he was careful enough and acted without anyone knowing, but in reality, it was all just self-deception.
Even the servants at ho could tell that he didn’t like Nora Thompson. Did he really make it that obvious?
He parked the car by the roadside, watching the Thompson Family’s house quietly.
Nora’s room, her window was still lit. Through the simple gauze curtain, one could sense the warm, amber glow inside that comforted the heart.
But had he lost forever the right to read, sip tea, and watch movies with her like that?
Alexander King lit a cigarette with a bitter smile.......

In the most luxurious mall filled with the most luxurious brands, there weren’t many people. After all, such expenses aren’t sothing most people can afford.
Jade Willow sat inside the store, having the staff pull down the door while she tried on clothes.
"Miss Willow, these are the new styles for this year. Is there anything you like?"
The shop assistant, holding a catalog, conversed eagerly while having soone slowly pull down the door.
She was a top-level VIP at the store, never hesitating when swiping her card.
Every year, they earned a hefty commission from her, and even though it was winter now, the first batch of the latest spring fashion had already arrived early. Miss Willow always liked to buy so thin spring clothes to highlight her body at this ti.
The large store closed its glass door, allowing exit but no entry.
There were still a few guests in the store who left after making their selections, leaving only one remaining.
"It’s amusing that you also offer such professional attire."
The designs by top designers always brought a fresh experience, making even the newly launched professional attire have perfect lines.
"You could consider so, just for a change. The lady just now selected two sets."
The assistant pointed to a slim figure in the distance still picking clothes, speaking ingratiatingly.
Jade Willow glanced over, and that slender woman looked very familiar. Upon closer inspection, it was indeed Nora Thompson. What a coincidence.
"I want everything she chose." She couldn’t believe that with her great figure, she’d look better in the sa clothes than her.
"Sorry, Miss Willow, could you pick other styles? These are from the sa series. That lady only chose two sets, and this series has six sets in total. The other styles are nice too; it’s just that the styles she likes are rather simple."
The assistant said apologetically. Many of the clothes here were single items; once sold, they weren’t available again. It was a pity because otherwise, they could’ve sold two more sets.
What was so arrogant about this woman? She just knew a little more than her. Besides, wasn’t she divorcing Alexander now?
"I want those two sets she chose. I’m your top VIP here. I spend a lot every year, right? I must have those two sets of clothes, or I’ll stop shopping here in the future."
Jade Willow was already holding in anger. Alexander King hadn’t visited her place for a long ti, and he wasn’t answering calls. He was probably still angry. She didn’t dare to find him at his office. Everything was fine between them until suddenly Alexander got married, and nothing was the sa anymore because of this woman.
"This, this........"
The shop assistant was in a bit of a dilemma. No custor had ever made such a demand, but Miss Willow did have a significant purchase history, so she went to consult the manager.
Nora Thompson was choosing shirts. Her previous clothes were more casual, and even though she had never worked before, she generally understood that appearance precedes ability, so she took so free ti to browse.
The beige and light blue ones were nice, and silk shirts were very comfortable to wear. She smiled at the assistant and said, "I want these two shirts as well."
Having chosen everything, she took out a notepad and wrote an address on it, "Please have everything sent to this address."
She still wanted to shop around a bit more; after all, she wasn’t often in the mood to shop.
At this mont, the manager ca over: "Miss, apologies, the clothes you selected earlier were all taken by another custor. She is our super VIP and has the privilege of priority purchase. As compensation, we can offer you a silk scarf."
