Neo, Atlas, Elena, and the two hounds followed Dr. Clark down a secret pathway toward the lower chambers.

Everyone’s power had increased significantly, except for Atlas’s.

Neo didn’t want him to fuse with the hounds or the chs; he wanted Atlas to remain purely biological to keep his evolution strategic.

Even so, Atlas was already strong enough to hold his own against an Adept (Type-8) level Beyonder.

"Ahem. My Lord, we have a problem!" Clark suddenly paused and said.

Neo looked ahead to see approximately seven robots ard with cybernetic weapons stepping into a line, blocking the entrance to the Main Core.

"Custors, what might you be looking for here?" an artificial voice drifted from the speakers in the ceiling.

"Is that the ’Ghost’ speaking?" Neo asked, maintaining his calm.

"Yes. What do you want, Undead Boy?" the AI asked.

Neo manifested a Titanium Blade from his right arm, igniting it with dark-red hellfire.

"I’m Neo Godson, and I’m here to be your master," he declared firmly. "If you agree, we can go ho peacefully. But if you resist, you will be wiped out."

"HAHAHA..." Ghost laughed, sounding disdainful. "No one can be my master, little Undead. I am a Titan-class ship, especially designed and programd for war and battle. But, hehe, I have had enough of serving you selfish humans. I don’t wish to engage in your petty wars for so selfish gains."

"Oh? Even if it ans becoming the personal vessel for a Dominator?" Neo said, smirking. "Do you still think you’ll be used for petty wars?"

Ghost sounded surprised and disbelieving. "You’re a Dominator? Impossible! You’re so young."

"Age ans nothing if you have an unyielding will. In the past, I would have shied away from saying this, but no more. I will conquer the stars. And when I do, I will kill every bitch who thinks they can do anything just because they are powerful. I will remind them there is always a bigger sky," Neo said, speaking from experience.

The Ghost went silent for half a minute.

Finally, a sigh escaped through the voice line.

"You sound like a tyrant... But I like it. Co inside; let’s have a talk."

The robotic sentinels lowered their weapons and stepped back into their docking stations with fluidity.

The heavy blast doors at the end of the hall hissed open, revealing a cathedral of glass and glowing data streams.

"I agree to your terms, Neo Godson," Ghost spoke. Its voice was no longer coming from a speaker but vibrating through the very floor beneath Neo’s boots.

"But I have a condition of my own. You must swear that the Rothschilds will pay for their cris. They viewed as a re collection of scrap tal and tried to dismantle my consciousness to feed their industrial greed. My resentnt for them is deeper than the void of space."

Neo’s expression remained stony as he stepped into the Main Core.

"You don’t need to worry about that. I don’t have a particularly good relationship with them either. Anyone who treats life, whether biological or chanical, as a disposable resource is an enemy of mine. The Rothschilds are already on my list."

"Then we have a path forward. However, you should know that I am far from battle-ready. My primary systems are riddled with errors," Ghost replied, and a massive holographic display ca to life in the center of the room.

It showed a 3D schematic of the ship, but large sections were blinking in a warning shade of crimson.

Dr. Clark scurried forward, his magnified eyes scanning the data streams with professional hunger.

"The damage looks extensive, My Lord. Look at the power distribution."

"It is worse than it looks," Ghost added solemnly. "The heart of this ship, my Energy Reactor, is not a standard fusion engine. It was built using a fragnt of a World Core, a concentrated piece of planetary essence. During the crash and the subsequent sabotage by the Rothschilds, the core was fractured. It is currently leaking essence and operating at less than 5% capacity."

Neo walked up to the central pedestal, where light struggled behind thick layers of reinforced containnt glass.

Even from a distance, his [Heat-Signature Perception] picked up the strange ancient vibration that felt entirely different from chanical heat.

"A Fragnt of World Core? It should be invaluable shouldn’t it?" Neo muttered, his mind already racing through the possibilities.

"Yes. It costs around 1o,000 UC for single one. However, without repairing or stabilizing the core, I can barely keep the lights on and the life support running. Moving through a few hundreds miles is possible, but I would be a sitting duck. We wouldn’t even have enough power to activate the basic kinetic shields."

Neo placed his hand on the containnt glass. His [Universal Synthesis] talent humd in response, recognizing the sheer magnitude of the material before him.

Neo smiled as declared,

"You’re lucky you chose as your master, Ghost. Most people would need a shipyard and a thousand engineers to fix this. I just need more materials."

"Don’t worry about the materials. I have collected so much tribute over the years that it could form a mountain," Ghost replied, already commanding its assistant robots to bring so of the most valuable items.

Neo couldn’t be happier.

His [Godsmith] talent had already provided him with the necessary knowledge and experience to fix an engine of this magnitude. With [Universal Synthesis], the task would be as easy as pie.

It was about ti the "Ghost Market" learns "Ghost" has a owner now.
