Now reading: Chapter 280: I just killed Vorath from Building My SSS-Rank Universal Empire: From Trash to Cosmic Overlord, a Fantasy novel by GHOSTFACE3.

It was understandable. Master Knights are insanely strong, very strong, so much so that even among themselves only a few could punch another clear out of their feet.

And Pomora didn’t look like the type to do such.

Vorath was shocked. How did she possess that kind of power? But Vale already understood by the way she explained.

But there was also a problem. As Vale watched, he saw the way her skin was stretching and pulling as sothing underneath was about to bust.

’...This technique that she’s using... it’s powerful, but it’s taking a toll on her body... she likely won’t be able to hold it for long...’

Just as he was thinking that, Pomora began to make her moves.

She took a simple step and disappeared, leaving a wrecking hole where she was by the force of her lurching forward.

Vale wasn’t the only one unable to keep up with her speed this ti. Vorath wasn’t fast enough either. He crossed his hands in front of his chest a second before she appeared right in front of him.

She sent out a punch that caught him right on that sa crossed hand. The force was enough to send him flying back. He ramd into the wall and bounced back on the ground.

Pomora was there with her feet raised. She brought it down like a hamr, missing his head only by a hair.

Vorath leaped to his feet and roared. He hated being cornered! He raised his hands above his head, fists clenched, and then brought them down as if he was punching sothing.

The air above Pomora warped and twisted, and sothing appeared. It was a tal hand shaped in the form of a fist, and it ca down heavily on her.

She went down under a cloud of dust.

Vale raised his brows as he watched her. That easily?

To the side, Vorath was bending his hand down as if he was trying to hold sothing into the ground. The veins on his hands bulged, and his face was etched in a grimace, eyes popping.

"How can she have this kind of strength?"

He shouted. Then suddenly, he stumbled forward. The force he was holding down had vanished. But he frowned. He didn’t feel that Pomora had been pressed down to her death. So what happened?

The tal fist shuddered, and from the inside they began to hear shrill cries of tal rending.

"Impossible!" Vorath shouted, looking at the tal fist with wild eyes. The tal he could create wasn’t ordinary tal. It was harder than normal steel, so hard that even a Master Knight would find it very difficult to bend. And not only that, it was coated with a rust-like substance that actually lted through flesh.

But the sound that the tal fist was making left him shuddering, because it could only an one thing. And just as he suspected, the top of the tal fist was ripped open, and sothing flew out.

Pomora!

Vorath took a step back. "You actually tore through it as if it was wood. Just what sort of technique caused this monstrous strength?"

She smiled. "The type that will leave bedridden for a while, but it’s the quickest way to get rid of a pest like you."

Then she flew at him once more. Between them, more tals appeared in the shape of armored warriors that carried weapons. Instead of slowing down to fight them, she simply ran through them.

Just like that, she tore each and every one of them into pieces—all this without slowing down.

Bam!

She collided with Vorath, her hand outstretched, and she gripped his neck.

The warlord smiled. "Got you."

His neck turned fiery, like the shade of burnt copper filled with rusting color. Then his neck shuddered as if sothing inside wanted to burst out.

At the sa ti, Pomora’s eyes widened. She tried to take her hand back from his neck, but it was already too late. Starting from her wrist, sharp spikes began to burst forth. Thorns of tal grew from her hand—

Rending her flesh from within and causing rust to spread.

It should be noted that Pomora had reinforced her body with condensed water that could fill a pool. Her strength had exploded.

’...What Vorath was doing was quite impressive... he must have concentrated his powers to pull that off... but he underestimated her... he shouldn’t have allowed her to get close to him like that... ever!’ Vale thought.

And he was right. Pomora smiled brightly. Her hand, that looked like ruined, twisted tree branches with fingers reaching forward like hooks, clamped down into his throat and she began to squeeze.

It was a swift affair. Vorath wasn’t prepared or expecting it. He thought with her hand she wouldn’t be able to pull anything off. But her hand was like a hooking knife on his neck, and because he was relaxed in his plan, he didn’t react quickly enough.

That split second where he relaxed and had absolute confidence in his plan—that was when Pomora struck. She used all her strength and completely twisted his head off from his neck.

Vale was just as shocked as Vorath. That was so fast and brutal.

Vorath’s head bounced on the ground a few tis, his face turned towards Vale, body twitching in one corner. The face grimaced and then glared at Vale before it lost all life.

Just like that, it was ended. Warlord Vorath of the Black Sun Company from the Untad Lands—was dead.

Vale took a shuddering breath, and then he released his hold on the Infernal Prison and let it fade away. They were back in the room with Vorath’s body on the ground.

Pomora looked as if she would fall over the next instant, but they heard shouting from the hallway. Vorath’s warriors had detected that sothing was amiss.

The Master Knight blurred forward, gripped Vale, and they were gone.

She passed through the tal buildings like a whirlwind, and even the guards couldn’t see her as she appeared in the throne room once again. She grimaced. "I have to treat myself!"

She ran to the corner while Vale brought out his two subordinates, and then he faced the new people he t in the room.

"Don’t mind . I just killed Vorath."
