Building My SSS-Rank Universal Empire: From Trash to Cosmic Overlord Chapter 289: The disrespect!
Vale grunted. "Commander Garran, thank you. For now, we are not trying to directly attack the Akatsuki. I would have preferred if they left them alone to focus on the Athrimir Clan for now, but it seems to be sothing out of my hands. Very well, Commander Petel..."
Suddenly, there was knocking from the door. Vale paused as the temperature in the room spiked. Every Knight in the room sent their senses out, trying to feel who was behind the door.
But of course, they couldn’t. The door had been engraved with different words of power that prevented people from listening from outside, but it also stopped those from inside from listening out.
Valtor stood up, his hamr materialized in his hand as he strode to the door and pulled it open.
Outside, a man who was sweating was surrounded by Knights in gold armor, pointing their weapons at him.
"What is it? We are having an important eting," Valtor barked.
The man shook and trembled when he heard that. He was an ordinary person, after all, and the pressure he was feeling from the room was making his legs numb. "Ah! It... it’s important!"
Valtor narrowed his eyes. "You are from the ssage information center."
Imdiately, they heard "ssage" and "information." Everyone tensed. After all, they had left people behind, and the ssage must be for one of them.
Valtor allowed the man entry. "Who is it for?"
The man went to his knees, mostly because his legs were about to give way as the eyes of those powerful Knights focused on him. "For the Clan leader! The Clan leader!"
Terrix stepped forward to collect the letter.
Although the ssage was sent from sowhere, the enchanted tools here would decode it and imprint it into a sealed letter, imprinting the seal of the sender in.
"Who is it from?" Vale asked casually. He was curious about who could be sending him letters.
Suddenly, Terrix stopped as he saw the seal on the letter. If he were a fur beast, then his hair would have stood on end. "This letter is from the Akatsuki."
"Say that again?" Vale blinked.
"The Akatsuki sent this letter."
Vale sat up, as did everyone. The Akatsuki sent them a letter? It was the truth that all the Clans in the Hinterlands had a frequency where they could send ssages from one Clan leader to another, but it’s not sothing that is used frequently.
So, when they heard that the Akatsuki sent a letter, everyone was surprised.
Vale smiled like a cat. "Now, that’s sothing I wasn’t expecting. It’s almost like they know we’ll be here. Interesting. Terrix, open it. Let’s know what they want."
The ssage was dismissed, and Terrix did read the letter after he confird that there was nothing wrong with it. He began to read.
"Greetings. This is the Clan leader of the Akatsuki, Eirikr Akatsuki. I congratulate Vale Athrimir as the new Clan leader. May your ti show fruits like the tree of the mouthful pale.
I am letting you know that the Young Master of the Akatsuki Clan, Svenjar Akatsuki, will be visiting the Athrimir Clan to broaden his horizon. He will be arriving at the border in five days’ ti. Thank you. I look forward to future encounters."
The room returned to silence.
Vale was the first to break it. He turned to Pomora. "What is mouthful pale?"
Pomora hesitated. "It’s a very rare tree found in the desert. It only bears fruit once every ten years, and its fruit is extrely bitter. It’s used for making tea, very high-quality one, but it must be consud in small quantities. Taking more will be eating poison."
"Is that so? Eirikr Akatsuki wishes my ti as the Clan leader to be as fruitful as this. I love the sarcasm. But I wonder if he knew about its poisonous side as well? Anyway, what’s this bullshit?"
Valtor was just as angry. "The disrespect! He’s sending a ssage as if we are his subordinates or sothing. So we should do what because his son is coming? He didn’t even ask if we want to host the boy!"
"What face-slapping disrespect! And I’m sure the son is so decoy that was sent to look at the state of things here!" Valtor fud.
Even Commander Garran’s eyes flashed. "I don’t know what they are planning, but it can’t be anything good. This is not good for our security. We need to reject this, My Lord."
Everyone gave their suggestions, and Vale listened to them one by one, slowly turning everything in his mind. So wanted him to co, but others didn’t.
After he heard them all, he made his decision. "I will allow him to co."
"I will let the Akatsuki show the power they have. Why stop them? We know next to nothing about them, and this opportunity will give us a glimpse into them. Valtor, you will be in charge of his protection. Do not let anything happen to him. We do not want to fight the Akatsuki now."
Valtor didn’t like it, but he bowed.
Vale sighed and waved his hand. "All of you should not concern yourselves with this. I want everyone to focus on their matters, but know that I might call you to war anyti. Be ready. One thing the Athrimir Clan is, is that we are rich, and I’ve thrown the vault open. We need to build a stronger army, and with the Ito, we should be able to get even more quality tools."
With that out of the way, they began to talk about the other things that needed attention. The eting lasted deep into the night, and they even ate both lunch and dinner there.
The reason was that not only was the eting important, it was sothing that could only be done occasionally. It’s not sothing that could be decided on a whim. It took almost three months just to organize the one they were doing.
After all, Vale pulled all the strongest warriors for the eting, and they all had their own important things going on. Even Vale himself had a lot to do.
So, they took advantage of the eting where everyone was gathered to hamr out a lot of things.
