Chapter 117
Alex leaned comfortably against the soft leather seat of the private jet with his eyes closed, giving off the appearance of soone who was peacefully asleep after a long exhausting night. But in reality, his mind was anything but asleep.
’System.’
The tiny chibi moved toward his shoulder while lazily floating upside down in the air.
[Yes, what?]
’Uhmm, why have you been staring at like that for the past thirty minutes? Don’t tell that my system actually fell for its host?’
[No! Gross! I wasn’t look at you like that because of sothing as crazy as that]
’Then why were you looking at ?’
[Okay... I was just wondering how your child will look if it’s a boy and the mother is Nyx. Will he carry your appearance or his mother’s own? Because personally I hope he carries his mom’s appearance]
Alex nearly choked on his saliva. He resisted the urge to open his eyes and spank the little gremlins butt. Was she indirectly saying that he was ugly?
Just as he was about to respond to the little chibi, one of the elegant flight attendants with light blonde hair that was neatly styled, and a devilish figure, suddenly walked over carefully toward Nyx before bowing slightly.
"Excuse , Miss Nyx. The pilot just announced that we will be landing at Incheon International Airport in approximately fifteen minutes’ ti. Please ensure your seatbelt is secure."
Nyx gave a small nod.
"Thank you. I understand."
The attendant respectfully excused herself afterward and walked away gracefully. Alex slowly opened one eye slightly before closing it again.
So they had finally arrived, huh?
It was about damn ti. The flight had been a really long one, and it was already the next day. Between the refueling stops and so other things that happened, nearly half a day had disappeared this new day.
Nyx finally placed her magazine aside before glancing toward Alex.
"Alright, you can stop pretending to sleep now."
Dammit! How did this woman know he wasn’t really asleep. It should be the mont he opened his eyes and closed it imdiately, right?
Since his cover was already blown, Alex decided to stop pretending and open his eyes. Then he glanced outside the window with a faint smile on his face. Through the windows, the bright cityscape of South Korea gradually appeared beneath them.
Even from way above, the city looked modern and full of life. With his enhanced vision he could see the buildings at far distances as if they were close.
About fifteen minutes later, the private jet finally landed smoothly and ca to a halt inside a heavily restricted, exclusive hangar away from the main comrcial terminals. The heavy cabin doors then opened, allowing a rush of the cool afternoon air to flood inside the jet.
After exiting the aircraft, Alex imdiately noticed a sleek black limousine already waiting nearby for them. Beside it was a tall Korean man with delicate features and neatly styled hair that brought out his face.
The man was dressed in an impeccable black suit that accentuated his slender figure and made him look quite dashing. The man’s eyes lit up with joy, the instant he sighted Nyx figure from afar.
The mont they arrived, the man whose na tag read secretary park stepped forward and gave a small bow.
"안녕하십니까, 닉스 대표님. 먼 길 오시느라 고생 많으셨습니다. 이번 미팅을 위해 모든 준비를 끝마쳤습니다."

Alex stood there blinking in confusion. He didn’t understand a single word of what the man had just said. Just as he was about to ask the chibi whether she might know how to translate it, Nyx casually stepped forward.
And without a single mont of hesitation, her beautiful lips parted, and a stream of flawless, natural Korean flowed out from her mouth.
"환대에 감사드립니다, 박 비서님. 준비가 잘 되었다니 다행이군요. 제 동행인인 알렉스 워커입니다. 이번 일정 동안 저와 함께 모든 동선을 공유할 겁니다."
> Thank you for the warm welco, Secretary Park. I’m glad to hear everything is ready. This is my companion, Alex Walker. He will be sharing all my movents and accompanying throughout this itinerary.>
Alex looked genuinely stunned. He stared at the back of Nyx’s head as if she had just grown another head. Yeah, he knew she was smart, borderline monstrously so, but hearing her effortlessly speak foreign language as if she had spent her entire life living in Korea was a whole different level of impressive.
But then he realized that aside from being the third underworld ruler she was also a successful business woman. So she must have learnt new languages during her business trips to better communicate with partners.
Secretary Park blinked in surprise as his gaze shifted to the man standing beside Nyx. The man looked incredibly handso that it almost felt unfair to all n in the world. He was tall, with striking raven-black hair, and sharp forest green eyes that looked like it had seen through many storms in life.
Though Alex was dressed casually, he knew that this young man must be soone special to Nyx, since it was a well known fact that she never brings any male person on her business trips.
Secretary Park bowed deeply toward Alex this ti.
"만나서 반갑습니다, 워커 씨."
> It is a pleasure to et you, Mr. Walker.>
"He says it’s a pleasure to et you," Nyx translated quietly over her shoulder.
"Yeah, tell him the pleasure is all mine," Alex muttered, while offering a polite nod.
Secretary Park then turned and gestured toward the jet black Limousine with heavily tinted bulletproof windows. A uniford chauffeur stood by the rear door, holding it open.
"이쪽으로 모시겠습니다." Park said, guiding them forward.

The ride through the bustling city was smooth and silent. As evening began settling over the streets, the limousine pulled up to the grand entrance of a towering, ultra modern five star luxury hotel.
Secretary Park escorted them through a private, restricted elevator directly to the highest floor of the establishnt. He swiped a golden VIP key card against the scanner of a massive, double sided mahogany door at the end of the building hallway.
The suite was breathtakingly vast, featuring a door to ceiling glass windows that offered a panoramic view of the beautiful city below, a sprawling living area with plush velvet seating, and many other wonderful things that would probably take Alex close to an hour to describe.
However, as Secretary Park began explaining the layout in English now, his voice beca apologetic.
"My deepest apologies, Miss Nyx," Secretary Park said while bowing repeatedly with cold sweat on his forehead. "We were originally only expecting you to arrive. And as per your usual protocol, we booked the presidential suite. However, due to a massive international summit happening in the city this weekend, every single other luxury room and standard suite in this hotel, and the surrounding five star establishnts, is completely occupied."
Park swallowed dryly, while looking nervously at Alex.
"If we had known Mr Walker was also arriving, we would have cleared an entire floor beforehand. So for now... I am deeply embarrassed to ask, but would it be acceptable for Mr Walker to share the presidential suite with you? It features a massive king sized master bedroom and an incredibly spacious living quarters with a custom divan, but..."
Alex secretly cheered in his heart, as a massive grin was threatening to break through his serious expression.
’Oh thank you, international summit. You are the real MVP.’
Nyx, however, remained entirely unbothered by the unexpected information.
"It’s fine, Secretary Park. It was a last minute decision to bring him along to gain so business experience. You may leave us for the evening."
Relieved that his head wasn’t going to be served on a golden platter, Secretary Park bowed one final ti and quickly retreated, closing the doors behind him.
The mont the doors clicked shut, leaving only the two of them in the room, the atmosphere turned awkward.
Nyx let out a soft sigh and rolled her shoulders slightly to rid herself of the stiffness from the long flight. Without saying a word to Alex, she walked straight toward the bathroom.
"I’m taking a shower first. Don’t touch anything, or peek inside the bathroom."
"I would never, okay! I’m a good man who respects a woman’s privacy." Alex said while touching his chest.
Nyx looked at him intently before finally entering the bathroom. The mont the sound of the shower echoed throughout the room. The chibi imdiately popped up beside him with a mischievous grin.
[So we are going to look, right?]
’Absolutely!’
[Good. Good. You’re on the right track]
Just as Alex was walking forward, Nyx’s cold voice instantly ca out.
"I can hear your footsteps, Walker. If you so much as peep inside, I’ll make sure I tell the Kades that you’re right here in South Korea."
The mont Alex heard that, he imdiately turned around and collapsed onto the massive bed.
’What a venomous woman. She says I’m her man but she wouldn’t even allow to kiss her. Sigh. It’s only a matter of ti, and I would have you deeply in love with . Just you wait.’
So for the next thirty minutes, the faint sound of running water echoed from the bathroom. While Alex passed the ti by chatting with the chibi on various beauties he would conquer during this short trip, so that he can reach the next level.
Suddenly, the bathroom door clicked open, and a soft warm cloud of steam billowed out into the room.
Alex casually turned his head around, and the mont his eyes locked onto the beautiful figure erging out of the doorway, his breath caught in his throat, and his heart almost even skipped a beat.
