Inside the building, the lobby looked polished with soft lighting and a kind of minimalist elegance that made even breathing feel... Expensive. The employees were all focused on their work, though more than a few of them would often cast glances at Alex with blatant curiosity written all over their faces, probably wondering why a charming college student, who looked like he was supposed to be in class, was being escorted by the big boss’s personal bodyguard.
As they continued to walk, a tall average looking man in his mid forties, who was wearing a perfectly tailored black suit and had his hair brushed backward, ca rushing toward them and introduced himself as the general manager whose na was John Stewart. He took over the escort duty and led them toward a private elevator that required a special keycard. Alex had to admit that this elevator looked pretty neat. It was a hundred tis better even in 2009 than his forr job’s own in his previous life, which looked more like a scrap of tal shaped into a box. The ride up was smooth and silent, and with every passing floor, his sense of dread grew heavier.

Soon, the elevator doors opened at the top floor of the massive building. Looking around the top floor seed by far different from the previous one. The hallway looked quieter, more spacious and if possible sohow colder, as if even the air itself was aware of who occupied the office at the very end, or maybe it was just because of the air conditioner that was cranked up to the max.
John stopped in front of a large dark wooden door with subtle gold inlays that spoke volus about its worth, and knocked once. After getting permission from the sharp voice inside, he stepped aside and gestured for Alex to move forward before following him inside.
Inside the room, Nyx stood by the glass window facing the entire city, and looked over the city with an unreadable expression on her enchantingly beautiful face, like a queen who was surveying her empire. Today, she was dressed in a sharp elegant business outfit that seed to cling to her curvaceous figure, bringing out her beauty even more and made her look every bit the domineering CEO, a stark contrast to her usual underworld queenpin persona.
Focus, Alex told himself. But he couldn’t help it. He just couldn’t stop his eyes from tracing the line of her back, the way her perky butt clung to her tight skirt and the way her stocking claded legs seed to look more and more tantalizing. It was all too amazing! He still couldn’t wrap his head around the fact that he had just literally fucked this goddess last night. When she turned towards him, he quickly looked away and pretended to be in a somber mood, like a child who knew he had just done sothing bad. She cast him a cold icy look that could make anyone shiver with fear and commanded the manager and baby faced bodyguard to leave them.
The general manager and the baby faced woman both complied without hesitation, though the latter paused for maybe a fraction of a second to glance at Alex with sothing that looked faintly like amusent before closing the door behind her with a soft bang.
The silence that followed was suffocating.
Nyx walked back to her desk, picked up a thin folder, then tossed it toward his direction, gesturing for him to sign it. Alex watched her with apprehension written all over his face. Though he was sure that it was the shares transfer docunt, he still had a bit of doubt.
’Could this be a slave docunt disguised as a windfall or sothing? Nah I don’t think so. Nyx doesn’t look like that kind of person. But still, how am I sure that this is not one of her ways of getting revenge for last night.’
As if reading his mind,
"Since you fulfilled your part of the deal, and helped beat Marcus" she said, her voice flat and business-like. "Then I will fulfill mine. You can sign the docunts and fifty percent of Bluepeak corporation will be transferred to you under the agreed terms. And if you’re worried that the docunts have been tampered with, my lawyers have already had it verified."
The suspicion in his mind faded away, giving way to joy and a bit of lancholy. This was it. This was the mont he had gambled so much for. This was the first real step in his path to power and financial domination. Honestly he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t feeling anything. This mont felt exactly like when he lifted his first child after Emily’s intense delivery. Wait, scratch that. After he lifted "Zack’s child," though at that mont he really thought the child was his. He had cried like a baby so much so that the doctors had to comfort him with joyful smiles. Now this mont right here felt exactly like that.
As he picked up the pen on the table, he couldn’t help the way his hands trembled from suppressed excitent. But he forced himself to calm down, read through the key points one last ti, just to make sure the docunts were really real. After confirming it, he signed where he was supposed to.
The mont he finished, Nyx took the docunts back, checked them with a quick glance, nodded her head in approval, then closed the folder.
"Congratulations, you are now one of the largest shareholders in the company."
Alex couldn’t suppress his smile as he heard her. It was official, he was now one of the major shareholder of this company. Oh he literally felt like throwing a flip.
"Since I’ve already signed the docunts," he said, taking a cautious step toward the door. "I’m sure it should be okay for to take my leave."
"No you are not going anywhere."
Nyx’s cold voice rang out, cutting off all the hopes in his heart.
"Do you think you can just waltz out of here after taking my first ti yesterday?" She asked with a hint of genuine, burning anger in her amber eyes. "You took it, that makes you mine. So from this mont henceforth until the day you die, you will not touch, look at, or think about another woman. You are officially my man."
"What?" The word slipped out before he could even stop it. "That’s not... Listen, it’s not like I force you, okay. And besides you were..."
"I know what state I was in," she snapped. "I have already made my mind, this is not negotiable. You are now my man, so I suggest you better get used to it."
Alex knew that what she said was kind of true. Since he had basically taken her first ti then it was only right for him to take responsibility, plus a woman like Nyx doesn’t seem like the person who could ever think of sharing her man with any woman. But what about Olivia? She was already in his harem slot. He couldn’t just abandon her after what they had just done. And then there was Emily’s mom? He still had to seduce and add her to his harem. He still needed to use her to get revenge on that bitch Emily. Now if he were to end up as Nyx’s man he would have to cut off on his mission and abandon all the potential won he would get. And most importantly, if he agreed to this, then he would basically be cutting off his path to growing stronger.
No, he couldn’t agree to her request, but still maybe he could at least try and negotiate with her. Yes it could work.
Steeling himself he responded with a steady voice.
"Sorry but I can’t agree to that... There’s soone... Olivia. And she ans sothing to . But... I’ll take responsibility for both of you. I know I’m a scumbag, but I still have my principles. I can’t just abandon one woman for another, so the best option to is if I take responsibility for you both."
For a split second, the temperature in the room suddenly felt colder. Nyx expression which had been icy before had turned gloomy. She couldn’t believe the nerve of this boy. How dare the fool expect her, the underworld queenpin with unimaginable power, to be fine with sharing a man with another woman? With a chilling anger burning inside her, she picked her phone and said in an extrely cold voice.
"Teach him a lesson. And make it an extrely morable one. I want him to rember it for the rest of his life."
Imdiately after she finished speaking, the door flung open with a loud bang, and the baby-faced girl stepped in, with a faint smile on her adorable face while cracking her delicate knuckles. The terrifying gesture made Alex break out in cold sweat. How could soone look both like an angel and the devil at the sa ti? The thought flashed through his head, while watching the approaching young girl.
Alex barely had ti to brace himself before she moved. Her figure imdiately blurred as she crossed the distance in half a second and delivered a sharp dangerous punch filled with terrifying strength, straight for his ribcage.
