Luke’s entire body trembled violently.

For the first ti in his life, the pride he always carried shattered completely.

The pressure crushing down on him was simply too terrifying. It felt as though an ancient mountain had descended onto his shoulders, forcing every bone in his body to creak endlessly. One of his knees had already shattered, blood slowly trickling downward while his face turned pale white.

Yet what frightened him the most was not the pain but rather...

Death.

Real death.

At this mont, Luke genuinely felt that if the young man before him wished it, he could erase him from existence with a single thought.

"Cough...cough..." Luke struggled to breathe, his forehead smashing against the ground from the pressure. Veins bulged across his neck while his eyes widened with disbelief.

"You..." His voice trembled violently. "Do...do you even know who my father is?!"

The mont these words fell, the atmosphere inside the pavilion strangely turned even colder.

Moon’s eyelids twitched wildly on the side as though he had just heard the dumbest thing imaginable.

Instead of begging for rcy, this idiot was still threatening Darius?

In normal situations outside the city or on the streets, such threats would indeed work most of the ti. But inside this pavilion, where the owner already dared to crush him regardless of his background, Luke should have already realized one thing.

Darius simply did not fear him nor his father.

If he did, he would have already asked about his identity beforehand.

Even Shen looked at Luke with pity.

At such a mont, this fool was still trying to use his father’s na to suppress Darius?

Any almost fainted on the spot. She truly could not understand how Luke’s brain worked anymore. Still, despite her disgust toward him, the cruel scene before her made her stomach churn slightly.

Such a terrifying scene was sothing she had never witnessed before despite being accustod to fighting and blood.

’Truly ruthless...’ Any thought before pausing slightly.

’Thankfully...it’s only directed toward people like him.’

She understood clearly that if she herself had acted the way Luke did earlier, she would probably not have escaped punishnt either.

On the other hand, Darius rely looked down at him calmly.

His expression did not change in the slightest.

In truth, Darius felt this outco was necessary.

He understood from both novels and even his failed business life back on Earth that if he continuously gave face and rely pushed troubleso people out without consequences, more and more people would eventually attempt to walk all over him.

While today’s actions might attract so trouble in the short term, in the long term people would understand one thing clearly.

The Immortal Pavilion was not a place one could casually provoke and leave unhard.

"Should I know?" Darius lightly asked after feeling the timing was right.

Luke’s breathing turned chaotic hearing this response. Rage and fear mixed together inside his chest, almost driving him insane. Throughout history, countless people had died from being unable to suppress overwhelming emotions, and Luke suddenly felt that he might soon beco one of them.

"My father...is General Shield..." Luke forcefully raised his head slightly. "If you cripple today...you...your entire pavilion will disappear tomorrow..."

Darius silently stared at him for several seconds.

Then...

He suddenly laughed.

The scene truly amused him.

However, while laughing lightly on the surface, inwardly, Darius beca serious.

’System,’ he asked silently, ’this power...it isn’t absolute, right?’

Indeed.

After using the suppression power twice today, Darius had already grasped a rough understanding of its limits. While it felt terrifyingly strong, he no longer believed himself invincible.

If Luke’s father truly ca seeking revenge later, Darius needed reassurance regarding his own safety.

Otherwise, provoking such forces endlessly would simply be stupidity.

The system’s voice quickly sounded.

"Correct. The host’s authority inside the pavilion is not absolute. Otherwise, the host would grow lazy, rely entirely on suppression, and eventually ruin both the Pavilion and its future growth."

"At present, the host’s suppression authority is equivalent to the Third Realm of this world. Future Pavilion upgrades will increase this authority further."

Hearing this, Darius inwardly breathed a sigh of relief.

Thankfully, he had asked beforehand.

Otherwise, he might truly have crossed a dangerous line today out of arrogance alone.

anwhile, during those few silent monts, Luke’s scalp turned numb, hearing Darius laugh.

"Interesting," Darius muttered. "So after breaking my pavilion’s rules, threatening to destroy my store, and attempting to attack inside my own pavilion..." He slowly crouched before Luke. "You are now threatening with your father?"

Luke’s pupils contracted violently.

At this distance, he finally saw Darius’s eyes clearly.

Calm.

Far too calm.

It was as though the young man before him genuinely did not place General Shield in his eyes whatsoever.

That realization intensified the fear inside Luke’s heart even further.

And for the first ti in his entire life...

Luke felt his ego truly shatter.

Darius slowly stood up once more and lightly waved his sleeve.

Buzz!

The pressure crushing Luke instantly doubled.

Crack!

A miserable scream echoed throughout the pavilion as Luke’s other knee completely shattered.

"AHHHHHHH!"

Luke’s face twisted violently in agony while tears and snot escaped uncontrollably from the overwhelming pain.

Watching this scene, Moon inhaled sharply.

Even after fighting demons for decades, this scene still made his scalp grow numb.

Too ruthless.

This Pavilion Master Darius was truly too ruthless.

"Listen carefully," Darius indifferently spoke while looking down at Luke as though looking at an ant. "I do not care who your father is. Inside the Immortal Pavilion, my rules are absolute."

"If your father cos here and follows the rules, then he is naturally a guest."

"But if he dares act like you..."

Darius paused briefly.
