They entered the diner and found a table then the waitress ca to take their orders.
They continued their introductions while waiting for their orders to be filled.
So far they have learned that Tony is a pharmacist who lives alone and hardly goes out so in his spare ti he finds things online to occupy his ti.
After hearing this Rebecca giggled a bit and so did he because Rebecca experienced one of those things he does online in his spare ti. Every now and then Tony reaches over his hand and holds Rebecca’s hand.
This was very pleasing to her because her way more attractive friend who she was worried might catch his attention now and then did not even receive a second glance from him.
Rebecca could tell that he was genuinely into her and he was being honest because there was evidence that he was being truthful to her.
This made Rebecca feel a little bad because he was telling her everything about his life and he is still calling her Becky a constant reminder of her lie to him.
"Rebecca sweetheart it was fun hanging with you and Tony but I have matters I must attend to, so I will see you on Monday ’’ Said Dian while kissing Rebecca on the cheek. Rebecca is feeling really appreciated by both the people around the table.
They wish Dian farewell and get back to their conversation. Rebecca is shocked to see that it is five o’clock pm. They have been talking for a long ti. "Oh my it is getting late I must not get ho after dark" explained Rebecca.
Tony cald her down and put her mind at ease with the fact that if it is ok with her he would escort her ho. This was a very flattering gesture but she was unsure if she wanted Tony to know where she lives as yet because he might beco a nuisance or worse.
This is definitely a downside to letting him follow her ho but it is better than being mugged in her hallway or on her way to her building so she smiles and says "Yes but we have to leave now in order for it not to get really late cause I don’t want to fear for you leaving my apartnt that late all alone."
They both agreed and ordered sothing at the deli for both of them to take ho for dinner, he and Rebecca had in common the constant purchasing of takeout for their als because it is not very beneficial to their lifestyle or environnt for them to cook regularly.
After ordering their als to go it was already starting to get pretty late and Rebecca is worried, but is sotis cald by the thought of Tony escorting her ho who seed pretty harmless after all she was really into him.
They make haste to leave the Deli to take the train to Rebecca’s apartnt. Rebecca is still contemplating the pros and cons of having him escort her ho after all it was his fault for keeping her out so late.
They exit the train and Tony walks up to Rebecca and places his hand in hers. This made Rebecca’s body react in an unfamiliar way, her tummy was bubbling and felt full of butterflies; this was a feeling she was enjoying.
They made their way to her apartnt room. Where she opens the door and turns around and says "Thank you very much for an amazing day." Tony smiles and reveals his emotions for her and says "I am the one who is grateful, I am grateful to spend the day with soone as beautiful and intelligent as you.
I am glad I sent you that ssage online that led us to et each other. You are a spectacular woman Rebecca with spectacular features." After this speech he leans over and kisses Rebecca on her lips.
Rebecca is in total ah about what just transpired.
Rebecca told him that "I hope you do not mind but I have a small apartnt and only one bed." He raises his eyebrows and wonders why she is making this piece of information known to him. "Do you mind spending the night? I do not want you alone to go back on the streets this late plus I find your company pleasurable" says Rebecca with a smile.
"Am I going out of my mind? I have only just t this guy and want him to spend the night already, is this a mistake, what if he is not what he seems after all everyone is capable of telling lies because I would not imagine that one would have sprung from my mouth" thought Rebecca.
He smiled and asked her if she was sure because she looked hesitant and so was he. Rebecca made him know that she is sure and does not have a problem with it. Rebecca lets him in and he takes the ti to look around and sees her laptop on the bed.
Noticing it was a new model so it would have a built in cam he felt a little embarrassed that she lied to him. A sad look falls over his face while steering at the laptop Rebecca notices his look of disappointnt after seeing the laptop and figured what it was all about so she tried to sway his mind.
"Are you ready to eat?" asks Rebecca. He looks at her with a not so sincere smile and says not as yet can I use your bathroom to wash up. Rebecca says "no problem, help yourself."
While he is in the bathroom washing up Rebecca sits on the bed feeling remorse for telling him the lie about her webcam to him. He exits the bathroom after washing up holding Rebecca’s Bonus cheque for employee of the month and asks "do you have a roommate or have you been lying to about your na as well."
