The wraith slamd its body onto the Force Do but was unable to break it.
The black cat smirked, "You think it will be that easy, fool?"
Mater released a shockwave that pushed the wraith five-ter backwards. He then rode the Dark Grimoire higher for a better viewing spot. The black cat shot Nether Spheres from up high, aiming at the head of the yellow wraith.
The wraith growled deeply but it was vanquished by the power of Nether.
Mater sucked all of its Chaos always, bringing his Chaos Spheres to 112.
The black cat dusted its hand, "Let’s keep going, Selina."
"You know. We don’t need to be in that hurry."
"Of course we need to hurry! We need to get as much as we can before those officials learn that this place is much more dangerous than they thought.
Once they do, we won’t be able to farm!"
"You’re right..."
"Of course, I’m right!"
The last two wraiths of this wave showed up in the Lambkins living quarters. They were a brown wraith and a grey wraith.
Mitch ran out of the living quarters just in ti Selina was entering.
"Good luck, Big Sister!" He saluted then rushed out with the remaining Psychics.
"They really see you as Big Sister, now." The black cat owed.
"Shut up! I’m not that fat!"
"I didn’t say you were... Ugh, woman!"
The brown wraith was a male and the grey one was a female. The last remaining mbers of the Lambkins.
The brown wraith placed its hand on the ground. Imdiately, the ground shot up and ford mounds of dirt. They rushed at Mater and Selina.
Mater put up the Force Do to block whatever that attack was. The mounds of dirt collided with Force Do and imdiately exploded into thick mud.
"This one is Earth."
The grey wraith jumped up and flew around the ceiling. It swiped in front of it, releasing wind fangs that shot at Mater.
Mater constructed another Elental Shield using the very air in the room. The spell created a wind shield. The wind fangs collided with the Wind Shield and disintegrated.
"This one is Wind."
Mater used Hellfire’s Pit on the brown wraith on the ground. Fire wasn’t that effective against Earth. But that was enough to keep the wraith busy.
Mater and Selina then focused on the grey wraith.
The black cat shot Nether Spheres at it while Selina used the Glacial Imbued Revolver.
"Ugh. My aim sucks. I need to train in firearms." Selina said.
Mater released a sphere from his mouth then turned over to her, "We still haven’t let Crow train you yet. He also has so shooting experience. He can train you both in lee and range combat."
"That sounds great."
The grey wraith flew around, trying to evade the projectiles. It didn’t have ti to counter attack.
The brown wraith extinguished the fire on it. It used the sa skill as before and sent mounds of dirt at Mater and Selina.
The Force Do blocked the attack again.
"This is going to be drawn out if we keep doing this."
The black cat looked around. It spotted the cara. With Minor Distortion, Mater made him and the Dark Grimoire disappeared.
He approached the cara and flooded Chaos inside it, temporarily turning it off.
Detective Flintstone grabbed the monitor, "Oh, co on! Not now!"
"Co, Crow!"
With the caras gone, Mater called out Crow.
The Abyssal Abomination jumped out of the book. Crow imdiately summoned a large Nether Axe.
He jumped on top of the brown wraith and slamd the axe onto the head of the brown wraith, killing it imdiately.
Crow snapped his head toward the grey wraith. He turned into a strip of shadow using Abyssal Dash and got close to the grey wraith. His other hand summoned another weapon, a large heavy sword.
Crow cut the grey wraith in two with one cut.
"Good job, Crow. You really are the best assassin!" The black cat clapped its hands.
"It is my honor to serve you, Master!"
After finishing the Wraith, Crow jumped back inside the Dark Grimoire.
Mater sucked the Chaos out of the remains of the two wraiths, making his total Chaos Spheres to 120.
He reactivated the caras. Detective Flintstone was able to see what was happening again.
Just a minute ago, Mater and Selina were dealing with the two wraiths. But when the cara went back up, they were already finished.
The third wave was finished.
"We dealt with seven of them. The next wave should be level 4." Selina said.
"Possibly. If it goes all the way up to level 10, I will have a lot of Chaos Spheres. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
It had been awhile since he laughed manically. He needed to let out his inner villain for a little bit.
The next wave was level 4 as Mater expected. But this ti, they didn’t spawn in random places anymore. All seven of them showed up in the altar building.
The Psychics could feel the presence of the wraiths from a mile away. Things got out of hand quickly and way above their pay grade.
A lot of Psychics rushed out of the mansion. Detective Flintstone and his n also rushed inside the mansion to help.
Selina and Mater got there last. They stayed quite far away from the wraith to not attract the attention of the wraiths.
"These NCEs get stronger when they’re killed. Tch." Detective Flintstone bit his nails. "This might not be a Bronze Rank Bounty anymore, Selina."
"We can still take care of it, Detective. But I have to ask you to keep everyone away and turn off the cara. Because you know, my secret Psychic technique." Selina said.
Detective Flintstone rubbed his chin in deep thoughts before answering, "Alright. I will entrust you in dealing with them. But you must value your life above all. If things get out of hand, run out imdiately.
The barrier will prevent the wraiths from leaving."
"Of course, Detective."
"Good luck, Selina."
Detective Flintstone and his n gathered the Psychics. They left the premises together. Only Selina and Mater were left.
The black cat flew to one of the caras and flooded his Chaos inside. He didn’t trust that Flintstone would keep his words.
"Heh. The man did as he said. That’s rare." The black cat owed.
For extra insurance, Mater took control of the cara system and made sure it stayed offline during the battle.
"It’s ti to fight, my servants!"
Aurora, Crow, and Bash jumped out of the Dark Grimoire. All three level 10 servants.
"Your wish is my command, Master!" Aurora said.
"I will kill anything that stands in your way!" Crow adjusted his fedora.
"Bash kills!" Bash tapped his chest repeatedly.
"Try this on, Crow."
The black cat spat out the Abyssal Helt and gave it to Crow.
Crow grabbed the helt in confusion.
