"OBSERVE!"

Chaos leaked out from Mater and concentrated in front of him. Slowly, the Terrestrial Seal took form.

The Tidal Siren was a servant specialized in controlling and disabling power. It took power from the ocean, which was the reason for its Tidal title. However, Evelynn leaned much more on the controlling side than the Tidal side. If she reached Rank-2, maybe she could awaken so Tidal Spells.

As for the Terrestrial Satyr, this was a servant specialized in environnt and terrain manipulation. It took power from the ground and the trees, the Elent of Earth and Plant.

At the sa ti across the Aeliz City, small plants suddenly grew at a rapid rate. They didn’t burst out from their pots outright but many witnesses claid that their plants grew larger by a size that night.

Many species that relied on nature like insects, birds, small rodents like squirrels could feel the change in the air and started panicking.

A witness reported that he saw waves of birds flying in the dark sky. So said it was an on of death. So said the birds were simply migrating from the North because of the cold weather.

Loretta had a habit of planting trees and flowers and placed them all across her ho. It made the lonely place feel much more comforting otherwise. Loretta was sitting inside her spirit room.

On the table was a deck of gold cards. She picked five cards and spread them out.

As a Seer, not only was she able to communicate with the dead, she could also attempt to look into the future to a certain extent. She couldn’t see the future clearly, however. The ssages of the future were mostly vague and hard to predict.

Loretta was simply checking on what her future in the Institute would hold.

The first card she flipped, it revealed a skeleton.

"Death? Or is it the spirit of the dead? Can’t really be sure."

The second card she flipped, it was a throne.

"Throne? Relating to leadership or so kind of responsibility?"

The third card she flipped, it was a hexagram.

"Hexagram... The symbol of protection. Does this an I will be protected?"

As she finished her mumbling, the hexagram turned bright red. Two more wings erged from within the star and turned it into an octagram, an eight-winged star.

Loretta jumped up from her seat and extended the distance. "What the hell?!"

The octagram burned fiercely, leaving a mark on the table. The card permanently changed from a hexagram to an octagram.

"Octagram... This is the symbol of higher beings. The sign of god..." Loretta breathed heavily.

The fourth card flipped on itself, revealing a mirror.

The fifth card flipped on itself as well, revealing a shadow figure.

The fifth card floated into the air and turned to shred right after.

Loretta never had such a reaction for a divination before. Mostly it would just be cards with vague anings. The most she had was a card flipped on itself.

This ti not only the card flipped, a card was altered permanently and another was destroyed.

Loretta made a cross sign with her hand. "God help . I do not want to ss with whatever this is."

As she said that, the plants and flowered inside the room began to shake. Different from the other plants in the city, her plants enlarged several tis and burst out of their pots.

Loretta scread and got the hell out of her house. She was not going to stay there to find out what would happen.

Surviving was the most important thing.

Back in Central Park, a green Submission Seal floated in front of Mater.

Selina saw the growth of the trees most clearly as there were many inside the park. Most of the trees beca taller by a few centiters. They were greener and much more alive.

The symbol for the Terrestrial Seal was a tree with spreading roots beneath that looked like broken lightning bolts.

"It’s ti to welco our newest mber."

Mater spat the Dark Grimoire out of his mouth. He released the tree wraith.

A skinny old man made of an entire tree. Before the tree wraith could understand what was happening, Mater slapped the Servant Seal on the man’s head, branding him forever.

The tree man trembled in place. Roots shot out from the green seal and wrapped around him like a cocoon. It thirsted for more Chaos.

"Oh? This one might be much higher level than Evelynn."

Mater opened his mouth and fed the cocoon with his own Chaos. A thick beam of Chaos shot out from him and went inside the cocoon.

Mater had a total of 20,000 Chaos Points. The tree wraith ate 5,000 of it. This was a very high amount for a Rank-1 Chaos Being.

Then the cocoon broke, revealing the handso bearded man inside.

"What the..." Selina said. She couldn’t help but be surprised. The pathetic and ugly tree man had transford into an adventurous vagabond with long brown hair and a jaw full of beard.

He had the upper body of a human but the lower body of a goat. Two curved goat horns were on his head. His ears were pointy and he had a small tail behind.

The Terrestrial Satyr opened his eyes. His eyes were clear, pure, and full of humor that one might expect from a forest spirit.

"Thank you, Master, for granting life. I am your new servant." The Satyr smiled brightly, revealing his perfect white teeth. He knelt and bowed at Mater.

"Hello, handso. You sure are different from the rest." The black cat owed.

"My uniqueness will only be used to entertain and assist you in every way you wish, Master." The Satyr said.

"Hmmm. You are a talkative one huh? How about ’Sparrow’? Do you like this na?"

Sparrow smiled, keeping his lower position. "From this day on, I am the little sparrow that will be by your side, Master. Sparrow is a perfect na for ."

"Rise, Sparrow."

Sparrow stood up. He flicked his full head of hair backwards like a male model.

"Why is he so different?" Selina said.

"Maybe it’s who he always wanted to be." The black cat laughed. "Do you rember your past life, Sparrow?"

"Only tiny bits and pieces, Master."

"Tell if you ever rember anything. Now... Let see how good of a servant you are."

Mater looked into the Dark Grimoire and checked Sparrow’s details.
