The Crimson Hood was jumping as far as he could. His ankles ached because of the spell but swallowed in the pain.

Suddenly, he heard the noise of a hawk behind him.

The Crimson Hood looked back but he couldn’t see anything.

Crow had transford into a hawk and dove down from above, increasing his flying speed several tis than a crow could.

He then turned back into his human form and stretched out his leg, delivering a kick to Crimson Hood’s chest.

"Fuck!"

The Crimson Hood was unable to dodge. He ate the entire kick in mid-air and was shot to the ground.

Crow used Abyssal Dash, which sped him up even further. He didn’t use the phasing ability of the dash to keep his leg on the Crimson Hood’s face.

Crow dragged the man on the ground for ters with his kick, creating a long trench on the ground.

The Crimson Hood vomited blood. He could feel the bones of his ribcage breaking one by one.

The man raised his hand at Crow, "Freezing Beam!"

His palm lit up in a blue color and shot out a blue beam. Crow moved his head out of the way. He moved like a world-class boxing champion, dodging the beam in a split second.

The Crimson Hood tried to get up but Crow imdiately pushed his leg down and pinned him on the ground.

More bones were broken and the Crimson Hood groaned in pain.

Crow climbed on top of the man and punched him repeatedly with his fist. Crow’s fists felt like iron, banging the man’s face to a pulp.

The cultist leader tried to cover his head but even his forearms were starting to hurt. He gathered all the strength in his lungs to shout another spell.

"Air Blast!"

A forceful gust of wind pushed out from within the Crimson Hood, sending Crow backwards.

Crow landed on his feet gently. He wasn’t even imbalanced. The shadow man shook his two fists then approached the Crimson Hood again.

Back in the gathering place, Mater flew down on his book. In his palm was a small black sphere.

"Hello, mortals. Co and et your new dark lord." That cat growled loudly.

Most of the cultists stared at Mater in surprise. A few listened to their leader and turned their back, running away.

Suddenly, ice pillars popped up from the ground and encased a few who tried to run away.

"Where do you think you’re going?" The black cat threw the small black sphere out.

It landed in the escape route of the cultists. The sphere exploded into darkness, blinding all of them.

"My eyes! My eyes!"

"I can’t see!"

"Don’t need to spare them, Aurora. We only need the leader." Mater owed.

"Understood, Master."

Aurora placed her hands on the ground. Those trapped in the ice pillar were imdiately pierced to death with ice spikes. The blinded few that rolled on the ground were also killed with those sharp spikes.

The blue ice spikes were covered in dense thick blood.

All the low-leveled cultists finally understood their situation.

"It’s an ambush!"

"Run for your life!"

Everyone ran away, except for five. The deserters were picked off one by one by Aurora’s spikes.

Those who stayed behind shot their gaze at the black cat.

"Kill that cat!"

Two of them were hooded warriors. They drew their short swords out. Magic flowed in their blood, strengthening their strength and speed. It was a similar skill to Chaos Flesh.

The remaining three were hooded casters. They raised their hands at Mater.

"Fireball!"

"Freezing Beam!"

"Dirt Pillar!"

Their group seed to be similar to each other. The last group Mater fought also had frontlines as warriors and backlines as casters. It must be part of their training and strategy.

A small pillar of dirt shot up from the ground, intending to penetrate the Dark Grimoire from the bottom.

Mater flew up, got away from the dirt pillar only to et with a blue straight beam and a sphere of fire.

"Child play." Mater grinned. He placed his paw in front. A pink do appeared in front of him, blocking all the spells.

These spells didn’t even break the 100 Chaos Points of the Force Do.

"No way!"

"How?!"

"That barrier can block magic?!"

"Let show you what true magic looks like." The black cat opened its mouth and shot out two Nether Spheres.

The hooded warriors ca and blocked the spheres, intending to protect the casters behind. But they were no match for Nether Energy. The purple spheres broke their swords and continued on its way, sending both warriors flying.

One was smacked upon a tree trunk. The Nether Sphere continued to shred his clothes and flesh.

He scread in pain, trying to push the sphere away. When he touched the purple energy, his fingers turned black and disintegrated.

"Dark magic..." The man softly said before the sphere went through him and carved out a hole on the tree.

The second warrior survived because he ducked down, allowing the sphere to go past him.

Their frontline was broken. Mater opened his mouth and shot another two Nether Spheres at the casters.

"Block those with the undead!"

The casters clasped their hands together. Three skinny zombies erged from the ground. They rushed at the spheres while the casters grabbed their robes high and ran away.

The zombies were purely paper in front of Nether Spheres. They could stop it for a couple of seconds but that was enough for the casters to get out of the way. All the zombies were torn apart.

Mater continuously shot Nether Spheres at the remaining casters. They didn’t even have ti to counter attack. They just kept running in zig-zag to dodge the deadly attack they knew would end their lives in an instant.

Over at Crow and the Crimson Hood. The Hood used all of his power and poured into a small red dot in the middle of his forehead.

"Co forth! Greater Undead!" He scread with all his might.

The ground in front of him turned to sand. A sarcophagus rose above the sand. In it walked out a mummy with brown linen wrapped around its entire body. Its two eyes shined a sickly yellow color.

The mummy raised its hands, shooting its long bandages at Crow.

The Abomination swirled his purple spears and cut the bandages off. He raised the spear and transford it into a long javelin.
