"That day in the mountain village, did you see who pushed out?" Jane Sampson almost agonizingly asked the question.

Hibiscus Wood shifted her position, sat up straight, and then averted her gaze, nodding slightly, "Yes, I saw it."

Jane’s hand, clutching her mobile phone, trembled gently, but it was nothing compared to the trembling of her voice.

"It was Mona Calm, wasn’t it?" Jane practically bit her lip as she asked the question.

Ti seed to suddenly freeze, halting in this mont, this second.

Not until Hibiscus Wood’s fingertips moved slightly, and her gaze fell upon Jane’s sowhat pale expression, did she nod again.

"Yes," said Hibiscus Wood. "At that ti, I wasn’t very far from you, so I saw Mona pushing you."

"Because you saw her push , is that why you’ve been targeting her these past few days?" Jane thought. The reason behind Hibiscus Wood’s sudden change of attitude towards Mona had finally co to light.

"I detest people like her the most, those two-faced, manipulative types who play the innocent and pitiful," Hibiscus Wood mocked Jane, "People treat you like a tool, yet you pour out your heart to them. Isn’t it unbearable when the truth is uncovered?"

"Why didn’t you just tell back then?" Jane truly felt a bit distressed.

"How could I just tell you? It just so happened that I was the only one who saw it." Hibiscus Wood leaned closer to Jane, lowering her voice, "If I directly told you, Jane Sampson, that your dear sister Mona, was the one who pushed you, would you have believed ? Perhaps you would have thought that I, Hibiscus Wood, was trying to sow discord, right?"

Hibiscus Wood admitted to herself that although she and Jane were old acquaintances, their relationship was not like the one between Jane and Mair Williams. They were close enough to have a certain degree of trust, but not so close that Jane would believe every word she said.

There was no way for Jane to answer this question since it never happened.

Jane thought about it, and perhaps it was quite normal for Hibiscus Wood to have these concerns.

After all, who could believe that Mona would be the one to push her?

After all, that answer was truly bizarre, wasn’t it?

If Hibiscus Wood hadn’t seen it with her own eyes, she would never have suspected Mona in her lifeti.

"Mona is a villain, and a very deceptive one at that, Jane Sampson. You must have co to ask this question today because you went back yesterday and looked into Mona, right? It must be because you found so information on her, and so you ca to directly ask ."

Hibiscus Wood spread her hands, "That’s it. This kind of truth, if you don’t uncover it yourself, my intervening is pointless. All I can do is remind you when you co to voluntarily, and provide you with an answer when you harbor doubts."

Hibiscus Wood knew her capabilities were not even one-tenth of Jane’s, so as long as Jane did her own investigation into Mona and found sothing suspicious to ask her about, then when she gave Jane this answer, Jane would believe it. After all, before the incident in the mountain village, Jane and Mona were close as sisters, and really, Mona had no motive to harm Jane.
