The phone rang just as she hurriedly raised her hand to wipe away her tears, then quickly picked up the call and said hello.
"No crying," Jas Black commanded as soon as he opened his mouth.
Jane Sampson sniffed and replied to him, "I’m not crying!"
Her tone was even fiercer than his.
"Yeah, you’re not crying," Jas Black ultimately didn’t have the heart to call out the little swindler on the other end of the phone.
For so reason, after he read all that Jane Sampson had said about Mona Calm and she separately told him she didn’t want to forgive Mona, Jas felt that Jane was afraid of sothing.
He had said several sentences to her, but she didn’t respond, so he had beco sowhat anxious and made a call.
A hello with a hoarse voice completely betrayed her crying voice.
"Those who bully you, I’ll bully them back for you," Jas truly wanted to hold Jane Sampson right now, to stroke her head and gently pat her back to comfort her, "So, don’t cry, okay?"
"I really wasn’t crying," Jane Sampson said, very guiltily and deliberately wiping the corner of her eye.
After she finished wiping, she felt secretly relieved that he wasn’t there in person, otherwise, he would definitely have mocked her.
"If you’re not happy, just take a leave and co to the guard team," Jas Black instructed with concern, "Let the film crew shoot others’ scenes first."
"No need, Mona has been replaced, and my workload has already increased. Their phone call continued until Coco Edwards ca back with breakfast, so it was rather unfortunate timing that as Coco entered the door, she heard Jane Sampson laughing brilliantly, or rather, slyly, asking the person on the phone for gifts.
After hanging up, Jane Sampson was still holding her mobile phone, laughing heartily.
"So happy? Got a gift?" Coco Edwards carried breakfast over and put it in front of Jane Sampson, "Am I going to be forced to eat dog food again today? No wonder I’ve been gaining weight ever since I followed you. Being force-fed dog food every day, it’d be weird not to gain weight."
"No," Jane Sampson shook her head, then explained again, "He said he wouldn’t give one."
Even though she didn’t get a gift, Jane Sampson was still very happy in her heart.
Just one phone call and due to the affair with Mona, her previously gloomy mood suddenly beca sunny and bright.
"Love really is healing," Coco Edwards couldn’t help but sigh as she handed tableware to Jane Sampson.
Seeing Jane’s eyes shining with starlight as she smiled, Coco Edwards shook her head with a resigned smile and thought to herself, she’s really easy to console. Jane Sampson had just taken a sip of soup and was reaching for a bun to eat when her mobile phone beside her hand lit up.
She tapped to open the ssage, and Jane Sampson burst into uncontrollable laughter, tapping the screen furiously two or three tis.
Curious, Coco Edwards peeked over.
Wow, a screen full of red envelopes, all from Jane Sampson’s WhatsAPP friend Mr. Black.
There was no need to ask, it must be Jane’s man from ho; this WhatsAPP nickna was the sa as his Twitter.
Equally flamboyant and skilled.
"How many red envelopes has he sent you?" Coco Edwards, still curious, couldn’t wait and asked Jane Sampson.
"Don’t know yet, I’ll count after I collect them all," Jane Sampson laughed. If she had a tail at this mont, it would probably be wagging its way to heaven above.
