But in reality, Jane Sampson had no airs about her on WhatsAPP, which made King feel as comfortable with her as with any ordinary friend. That’s why he naturally overlooked the fact that Jane was Director Daniel Taylor’s sister.
After completing check-in, Jane chatted with King as they headed toward the elevator. The elevator stopped at the first floor, and several people walked out. Jane looked up and locked eyes with the person who ca out first, and both were montarily stunned.
"Ms. Little!" Jane was overwheld with joy, "What a coincidence! I never imagined we’d run into each other here."
The person who ca out of the elevator was the sa Ms. Little who had approached Jane for an interview previously.
Following the initial shock, Ms. Little smoothed back her bangs and revealed a shallow smile, "Jane, it really is you. At first glance, I thought I had mistaken soone else for you."
"Ms. Little, you know Jane?" King interjected from the side, "Then that’s wonderful."
Ms. Little was specially invited by the film crew to discuss the the song.
The crew initially wanted to collaborate with Jas Carter, but he had straightforwardly declined, so Daniel Taylor suggested reaching out to Ms. Little.
"When I saw the actor list released by your crew with the na Jane Sampson on it, I never thought it would be you," Ms. Little said with a smile to King, then turned to Jane, grasped her hand, and asked, "What’s going on? Didn’t you say you were going to be a homaker? Why did you suddenly change your mind to beco an actor? You really are..."
Ms. Little did not complete her sentence, but her expression said it all—beyond shock and surprise, she also felt it was a pity.
"You should have continued on the piano path. It wouldn’t have taken many years before you achieved great things," Ms. Little sighed after saying this.
"What I want can only be satisfied by this path," Jane said helplessly, her explanation sounding sowhat pale, but she didn’t reveal what she actually wanted.
"Oh well, everyone has their own path to walk," Ms. Little looked at Jane with unabashed regret and solicitude and continued, "I’ve always rembered your talent. Now that you’ve co back into the scene, you can’t refuse if I look you up later."
After finishing, Ms. Little turned her head to look at King and smiled, "Your crew has such a talented woman and you don’t know about it? Her songwriting skills are no less than mine."
King looked at Jane in astonishnt, thinking to himself how he hadn’t realized that such a modest young lady not only knew Ms. Little but also received such high praise from her. That was truly impressive.
As Ms. Little was talking to Jane, the other two people from the elevator walked out. Jane noticed that the man walking in front with a hat and mask seed to have so difficulty with his legs, so she quickly stepped back to give way.
"I have to go, we’ll talk more tomorrow," said Ms. Little, glancing ahead and hurriedly finishing the catch-up with Jane before chasing after the two who had already left.
Clearly, Ms. Little was with them.
Once they were gone, King’s gaze on Jane couldn’t hold back any longer. He chuckled and, looking at her as if she were a panda, let out a deep "oh" in jest, "Well, look at you, a dark horse."
