One morning, Mr. Black, fully content, finally got out of bed in great spirits.
He turned around and glanced at his young wife still in bed, her cheeks flushed, with a smile playing at the corners of his eyes and mouth.
"I’ll go run your bathwater; you soak for a while before heading to filming; it’ll be more comfortable," Jas Black said to the woman in bed.
"Hmph! A stick and then a sweet date! If I’m late, you’re sleeping on the sofa tonight!" Jane Sampson retorted angrily, grabbing Jas Black’s pillow and hurling it directly at him.
"Stick?" Jas Black caught the flying pillow, pondered the word for a mont, and then nodded seriously, "Can’t say that adjective is completely wrong."
"..." Why does he always manage to say things so seriously that make one blush?
That wasn’t at all what she ant.
"You rascal!" Jane glared at the man standing in the doorway of the bathroom and dove headfirst back into the quilt.
But the next second, she popped her small head right back out.
The quilt was still filled with his scent.
"Rascal! Old rascal!" Jane simply sat up and continued scolding.
"Jane Sampson." Jas Black, who had entered the bathroom, walked back out and raised an eyebrow, "I’ve told you before, a rascal is a rascal. Who allowed you to add ’old’? Not satisfied yet?"
Her little face puckered.
After a while, Jane huffed, "You’re annoying!"
Now just seeing his face irritated her!
"Hurry up and run the water!" Jane urged Jas, muttering to herself that in the future she’d wake up and get out of bed right away after washing up, no more teasing him.
All this teasing was like courting death, while he just enjoyed it.
Jas Black stood there for two seconds before sighing and leisurely returning to the bathroom to continue his task.
Jane reached for her mobile phone; last night before sleep, she had placed hers next to Jas Black’s and accidentally picked up his first.
Now feeling totally limp, she was too lazy to dig through the drawer for her phone and simply turned on Jas Black’s phone, then accessed his browser.
Jane thought she’d check online to see if there was any dicine that could render Jas unable to perform.
However, what she wasn’t expecting was that upon opening the browser, the first thing that caught her attention was the search history.
"Signs a woman is pregnant."
Instinctively, Jane clicked on the record and searched it.
When the web page loaded, Jane thoroughly read every line.
After finishing, she silently put Jas Black’s phone back next to her, propped her chin, and stared toward the bathroom door.
Blinking.
Yeah, she knew he had sothing up his sleeve that evening.
Her intuition was indeed correct.
So, after coming back to her senses, Jane used her own phone to search for the initial question she had in mind.
Unfortunately, although that was what she searched for, the answers returned were all about how to enhance vigor.
Frightened, Jane quickly threw her phone aside.
That was terrifying—who would buy those things for him?
It might as well be a death wish.
When Jas Black ca out from the bathroom having prepared the bath, he saw Jane sitting on the bed, her face etched with worry, seemingly oblivious to his presence.
"Go take a bath," Jas Black gently patted Jane Sampson’s shoulder, then asked, "Shall I carry you there?"
