Even the makeup artist praised that it was rare to find a female actress like Jane Sampson who could keep her skin in good condition after months of wearing heavy makeup every day for filming.
"Facial mask, facial mask!" Jane yanked open the drawer where she kept her costics, ready to open a new pack of facial masks to use.
But the mont she opened it, Jane froze.
The entire pack of new, unopened facial masks, which she had placed in the second drawer to the right when she checked in, had vanished!
Since there were two single masks lying on the tabletop, Jane hadn’t opened this particular drawer since she checked in. However, Jane always had a good mory; she never misrembered where she put her belongings.
Back then, while she was organizing her stuff, she had ntioned to Coco Edwards that the furniture design in this hotel was quite vintage, reminiscent of the dressing tables with layered drawers she had seen in her childhood.
Jane clearly rembered that after making that comnt, she placed the unopened facial masks in this drawer, and hadn’t touched them since.
While Jane sat there, stunned, Coco returned with dinner packed up.
"Let’s eat dinner first, we can deal with your skincare issue after eating. Otherwise, with this weather, the packed al will get cold in no ti." After closing the door, Coco glanced at Jane, sitting in front of the dressing table, and spoke.
"Coco, my facial masks are missing," Jane turned her head and motioned to Coco.
"Missing?" Upon hearing this word, Coco imdiately beca alert, not rushing Jane to eat anymore. She set down her belongings on a nearby table and walked straight over to Jane, asking, "Are you talking about that new pack of unopened facial masks? Didn’t you put them in this drawer? They’re gone?"
As she spoke, Coco pulled open the drawer Jane had just looked in, and indeed, it was entirely empty.
Coco was also stunned. A few seconds later, the two girls looked at each other.
"Check and see if anything else is missing," Coco said, shaking her head repeatedly. "This small-town hotel, the quality of employees is so inconsistent. It only takes one or two bad apples to spoil the whole pot of porridge."
Jane repeatedly nodded. Since she was sitting at the dressing table, she started searching there first.
Coco then went to open Jane’s wardrobe to check her belongings.
When Jane arrived, all she could bring was clothes, shoes, and costics, so those were naturally the things to search for. Coco didn’t expect to find that one of Jane’s cashre scarves was missing.
"Jane Sampson, your bright red cashre scarf is missing," Coco called out to Jane. "The big red scarf that Jas Black gave you, I just folded it and placed it in here yesterday."
Jane turned in her seat to look at Coco, her eyes filled with panic.
"Coco! Coco!" Jane’s voice trembled as she called out to Coco. "My lipstick is gone! The lipstick Jas Black gave is gone."
Jane was almost in tears, "This morning when I left, I still put it in the box designated for lipsticks, but when I just opened it, it wasn’t there. Gone along with it was that grape-purple lip glaze."
