"Without a boyfriend, even the motivation to go shopping is gone~" Lucy Brisk chuckled as she joked with Jane Sampson. Then she added, "Though we might skip shopping, breakfast is a must-have, Sister Jane. Are you planning to go downstairs to the self-service restaurant on the first floor, or shall I order and have a waiter bring it up to your room?" Lucy inquired.
Jane guessed this must have been Jas Black’s idea.
"Never mind, I’ll just get up, wash up, and go downstairs for breakfast. It’ll be good to move around a bit," Jane replied, then asked, "What about you? Have you had breakfast? If not, shall we go down together?"
"I’ve already eaten," Lucy responded.
"Alright then, enjoy your day. I’ll get breakfast and then head back to my room," Jane said before ending the call and getting up to the bathroom to wash.
This was a ultra five-star hotel in King Town. Staying here ant adhering to a certain level of decorum, so Jane didn’t have to worry about dining alone in the self-service restaurant.
Besides, at this ti, the restaurant probably wouldn’t be too crowded.
After changing her clothes, Jane grabbed her purse and left the room.
The hotel’s breakfast self-service restaurant was on the right side of the great hall on the first floor. To get there, she needed to cross through the great hall.
Wearing her hat and mask, Jane stepped out of the elevator and imdiately noticed two waiters in the corner with mobile phones, recording sothing.
Both were busy talking and filming, totally oblivious to Jane approaching them.
"Hey, what do you think is the relationship between those two? That bag the girl’s carrying is H brand’s new style for this sumr. I heard just selling it costs over 70,000, and most importantly, it’s a hot new style that you need to match orders to even buy it. That ans for such a bag, you can’t get it without spending 150,000 to 160,000. She looks so young, she couldn’t possibly afford such an expensive bag, right?"
"I think so too. It’s probably so sugar daddy or sothing. But that guy indeed has quite an intimidating presence."
"Do you think if we post this video on the internet with a catchy title, my account could beco famous?"
Jane was standing right behind them and overheard their conversation, not because she was intentionally eavesdropping, but simply because she had to pass by this area when exiting the elevator.
She glanced at the two people ahead who were engaged in a tug-of-war and frowned deeply.
After a mont’s thought, she stepped forward and bumped the hand of the girl holding the mobile phone.
With a clang, the phone dropped to the ground.
Jane, moving faster than the girl, bent down to pick it up. After picking it up, she stealthily deleted the video the girl had recorded, then handed the phone back to her.
"Sorry about that. I was in a bit of a rush coming out of the elevator and didn’t see you standing there. Did I break the phone?"
After speaking, Jane took out all the cash from her wallet and handed it to the girl, "Count and see if it’s enough. If not, you can co to Room 808 to find ."
The girl was taken aback. Before she could even react to her phone being knocked down, she was handed a fistful of cash.
Just by feeling it, it was at least five to six thousand.
