Jane Sampson’s angry look was really adorable, with her eyes wide and lips puckered, Jas Black rubbed her small head and picked her up directly.
Sitting on his waist early in the morning, moving around, she ignited a fire in him.
Then, Jane, who had just been squabbling with Jas, was devoured by him completely in the next second.
By the ti Jas had his fill and leisurely returned to the bathroom for a shower, Jane was lying in bed questioning life.
You really can’t tease n in the morning, not carefully anyway, or else you get gobbled up in one big bite.
When Jas ca out of the bathroom, Jane was lying in bed, lost in thought. Jas walked over, sat next to her, and gently kissed her slightly swollen lips.
"What are you thinking about?" Jas asked.
"I’m thinking about your Empress," Jane replied compliantly.
Jas choked.
"With so many people and so much drama in the Emperor’s harem, such tireso tasks should be left to a professional Empress. If I were an Emperor, I would certainly be a Tyrant King who favored only the Imperial Princess Consort," Jas stated with mock seriousness.
The next second, the forrly stone-faced little miss burst into a radiant smile.
"Jas Black, you really have a way with words." Jane jumped up to embrace Jas, giving him a quick kiss on the face, and then, wrapped in her pajamas, she hopped off towards the bathroom.
"He’s so easy to appease," Jas murmured, shaking his head gently as he bent down to pick up the clothes she had left on the ground.
These were the ones he had peeled off her, one by one, just now.
Inside the bathroom, Jane let the water run into the bathtub without haste, knowing there was still plenty of ti for a short bath as she had seen the alarm Jas had set on her mobile phone.
She was calculating the ti inside while keeping an ear out for any noise outside. Thinking it over, she called out, "Jas, check my WhatsApp for any ssages from Sister Tin about work."
Jas responded through the door and reached for Jane’s mobile phone. After entering the password and accessing WhatsApp, he glanced at it and called back, "There are no new ssages from anyone."
Indeed, who would be up so early in the morning?
Jane uttered an "Oh" and stayed silent, lingering a while longer, but when Jas still seed unresponsive outside, she stood up and dried herself off.
Then she walked out in her bathrobe, grabbing the hair dryer as if she was about to blow-dry her hair, and called Jas again, "Check now if Sister Tin has sent any ssages. She said she had sothing very important to tell early today."
Jas glanced at Jane, who was all seriousness, and grunted an acknowledgnt, checking once more, "Still nothing."
Jane raised her eyebrows subtly and stole a glance at Jas. Seeing that he had put her mobile phone back as soon as he finished speaking, Jane was so frustrated she almost stamped her foot.
Why was he so exasperating?
When he shouldn’t have looked, he didn’t miss a word.
When he was supposed to look, he didn’t read a thing!
Having no other choice, Jane had to slow down the hair drying process and tried her luck prompting Jas again.
Jas did as she asked, giving the sa old response.
But after this response, Jas ca and sat down next to Jane, taking the hair dryer from her hands and turning it off.
"Is there sothing urgent in your phone that you want to see?" Jas suddenly asked.
Jane’s expression froze, how could she respond?
Was he asking this because he saw sothing, or had he guessed based on her repeated promptings?
