It’s fair to say that ntioning Jillian Carter, who was treated like a star from heaven, provoked a hint of envy in many won’s tones. After all, having a famous mother, a brother, and apparently a very influential father, anyone with such a background could easily swagger around in this circle.
Jane grabbed her mobile phone and quickly went to check twitter.
She had been away filming in another city from King Town, and due to the remote location, her mobile phone had barely any signal. Now that she had returned to the Capital Province, the buzz around this issue had probably died down, so she didn’t see it while scrolling through twitter, which is why she was unaware of this whole Jillian Carter situation until now.
Jane didn’t have much ti to browse through the information on twitter because Gwendolyn Young wasn’t one to loiter on the red carpet. She proceeded straight into the venue, hand in hand with her daughter.
Knowing Jane was also present, Gwendolyn Young headed straight for her upon entering the venue. Familiar faces always exchanged greetings.

Jillian Carter rolled her eyes at Jane from behind Gwendolyn.
Gwendolyn didn’t notice, but the people next to Jane saw it, each one puzzled by what was going on.
It appeared that Teacher Young, as a mother, seed quite warm and friendly toward Jane.
However, Gwendolyn Young’s daughter seed to have taken an intense dislike to Jane.
"Good thing Teacher Young didn’t call ’Monkey King of Sampton’; otherwise, I’d really want to crawl into a hole right now," Jane responded with a laugh.
Because of Jillian, Jane’s reaction to Gwendolyn Young was not overly enthusiastic, yet she managed not to co off as cold or aloof.
